Replying that this was inappropriate, I was told that the program I was in was a "master program which we use to keep rates and premium down", which was even more absurd. When I asked to shop around, I was told there was "no other program". My rating here is One Star - I would rate One-Half Star if that were possible. (And BTW, I have already shopped around on my own and found appropriate coverage that costs much less.)

Even an agent there was confused and said that my rate should only change every 6 months and they would call to ask if im okay with it! Ive been told that I will have a "spread" that will only happen for 3 months (which I did not authorize) and it would stop but it has not! And since then had no explanation and continuously been told id get a call so they could explain and I've gotten no calls. I also have repeatedly texted and called and asked them to stop my life insurance and they said they would yet I'm still getting charged. In the photos included, the fluctuating charges are shown. Update: The charges were explained and the agency owner contacted me and worked with me to try and resolve the issues I had. It seems alot was out of the staff and agencys hands so I dont blame them . I still will say that I dislike that Statefarm gave me alot of these problems and confusion when it came to monthly payments as the amount I paid every month wasnt constant, it was explained to me that this is because it takes a while for the system to process discounts and account changes, which the system to me was a but frustrating, and confusing to work with , it had caused me worries of being over charged and I decided to move to another insurance company that ended up being alot cheaper. I just hope that Statefarm as a whole resolves these issues with the system and when someone speaks to an agent that charges will be clear to the customer before they begin to pay , id like to have my charges laid out so I know what to expect, when changes are made , I assume that would have to take a change in the system to make it process changes in a timely manner so it will make it both clear to staff and customers. For now if your a customer and worried about this , I would stick to either no auto pay or semi annual/annual payments. Again I did have the Agency owner reach out to me and explain everything, although it was still confusing from what they told me its not their fault so I dont blame them.
