FORGET THIS PLACE, GO ELSEWHERE! Her mother answers the phone and says she makes the final decisions not Shirley. I wasn't asking her to come out and play after dark it was a legitimate business matter. Renewal time comes around and they submit much higher driven miles on the cars to raise your rates. After almost a decade w them, I switched to Mercury (saved $840 every 6 months) which I have had in the past when I was much younger and never had a problem. Also, in almost 10 yrs never met Shirley. The way Andrea talked to me today as if we have not been customers for over 50 years was a disgusting. I setup my renters insurance with this location since it was the closest agent to my home. No issues until I needed auto insurance. I called in advance that I was buying a car that day. The woman I spoke to said they are closed on Sat. But I could email her and as she checks her email, she would respond. I emailed her a little after 6pm and no response that evening nor Saturday. I spent an hour on the phone with Allstate 1800# to get the auto insurance setup so the car would be released to me. If I had known I could have taken care of this sooner. Shirley L. Stith and Allstate are very shady watch out!!! First of all a agent by the name of Tianna Lonetti signed me up after being with progressive for 14 years. ( never had an issue with them) just wanted a cheaper rate since times are rough. and Lonetti offered me the same policy but with higher coverage at a way lower rate. So of course I took it. She told me I had to put some money down like a down payment and then my payment would be the same unless I added or deleted a auto, driver ect. Now I get the renewal and it's $70 more than what I was supposed to be paying. I haven't been able to get in touch with Ms lonetti because she won't answer calls or emails. My agent Enrique martinez isn't answering as well. Now they're saying that office is closed ( I wonder why!?!?) I don't have an agent to talk to about my issues so I.call the 1800 number and was given Shirley's number since her office is close by. She was very rude. Not helpful at all was making excuses for Ms. Lonetti. Telling me she couldn't help me and basically what did I want? She isn't my agent and she's going out of her way to help. Which she wasn't. I told her Ms Lonetti was dishonest and deceived me she told me " don't say that" she probably didm't know it would go up. What??? Then she told me well they probably didn't want to help you because you keep repeating the same thing over and over. Wth? Um yeah because you aren't trying to listen to me or help me. I signed up for life insurance and provided all my information over the phone. Some how all my info was inputted all wrong!! I never received my policy although I am paying for it, I have no idea what it entails. I leave messages for the owner and never hear back from her. The owner Shirley Stith knows a lot about financial services and as a result I have learned so much more about how my insurance policies provide protection. In example, I am now aware of products such as the value of a long term care policy as well as the importance of having life insurance to provide protection for my family in the event something unforeseen happens. When it comes to selling insurance products, the agents at this Allstate Company are very helpful and friendly. However, when a problem arises they are unprofessional and rude. A few days ago, an agent made a mistake when she took my payment for my car insurance. Her mistake resulted in my bank charging me $75 in overdraft fees. When I brought this to her attention she refused to take responsibility, saying it had been a miscommunication issue and that she could not cover the overdraft fees. Angry and frustrated, I went home and called Allstate to cancel my insurance policy. Again I was met with unprofessionalism, this time by a second agent. When I asked her how my money would be refunded, she said I would either receive a check or that my card would be credited. I told her I needed to know how my money would be refunded to which she replied, "I can let you know next tuesday. Call me." Today is Thursday! Why would it take 5 days to find out how one's money is refunded?! If you are looking to purchase insurance, I strongly urge you to do so else where. This agency has demonstrated that they are unwilling to meet the needs of their customers, and that they lack professionalism and customer service skills. read more
