I am loyal to the nail salon I go to, where I see Nina exclusively. Since moving here a year ago, I have never had a nail break with her, which is a rare and welcome change for me. Whenever I have had to go to another nail technician in her absence, my nails have broken again. I don't know what Nina does differently, but I am not willing to switch to anyone else anytime soon. The overall atmosphere at the salon is great, and while I am not a big fan of pedicures, I appreciate the top-notch service Nina provides for my nails. I have been coming here for a long time, all the way from Chicago, but the service has declined immensely. This last time I brought my daughter and we got pedicures. Angel did mines. I asked for her to do a thorough job of removing dead skin, she says.. "That cost more!" I asked for a massage, she claimed "That cost more!" As I tried to talk with her, she pretended to not speak English, then laughs and makes comments in her native language to her co-workers. The next day, the over-application of nail polish smudged after sitting 45 minutes to wait for it to dry. (See pictures) After calling and speaking with "Loan" who claims to be the manager, she suggested I drive from Kennesaw, approx. 45 miles away and 1 hours drive (in either direction) to get the toes repolished. Big Deal! The idea of me spending another 2 hours and driving 90 miles round trip to get what was supposed to have been done in the first place, was a no-go for me. Now, I am having to go somewhere else closer to get the work done properly. I requested it be redone whenever I can return to Douglasville. The MGR said No! I always ask for Cindy and Tom they're my choice because they are very neat, professional and efficient. Just don't expect the same service from them if you go on the weekend. It gets so crowded and they will rush you through. Happened to me once and I told myself that I will avoid weekends at all cost. I wasn't happy at all when I left that day like I usually am. Finding a good nail salon in Douglasville has been a challenge. I was referred to this place and to specifically have my nails done by the owner/long. The first time I went on a Saturday afternoon, not a good idea. Also because I wanted "long" I waited longer than normal. Once she finally got going on my nails, she kept being interrupted. Although I spent about 2hrs in here for a simple gel manicure the first visit wasn't too bad. My nails lasted a good 2 1/2 weeks but eventually started to crack/break. The second visit I went on a Friday and asked for long. She was busy and I had to wait. This was fine, the lack of stars is because of how fragile my nails have gotten and the second set barely lasting a week. I'm not sure if it's due to drilling the gel polish off from the prev. set or what. My nails have never cracked/broken so easily before. When she saw the cracked nails from my first visit she only wanted to upsell me SNS, no thanks. I don't wash dishes or do a lot with my hands btw. I doubt I'll continue to get my nails done here but will give them another try for a pedicure. Overall it's a nice salon, offering drinks w/ straws, clean bathroom and pretty friendly staff. read more

I received a gift certificate for this location for two pedicures ($46). My daughter and I went in to the salon and received our pedicures but they refused to honor the gift certificate. They claimed it expired in 6 months. However, Federal Law protects consumers and gift certificates and gift cards never expire. I wouldn't recommend this salon. read more

I just moved back to Douglasville and this nail shop was recommended to try. The first time my service was decent, a week later my experience was not so good. I had to come back because of and issue of both of my thumb nails cracking in the middle. They were busy at the time so the lady that fixed my nail rushed the job and left my nail bulky and burns really bad. Overall I paid over 100 plus dollars on my first visit and week later to get my nail repair additional $10 with not so good experience and now I have to find another nail shop to treat my thumb nails. read more

I hate writing a bad review for this location bc I did like them. When I moved to Douglasville a few months, I couldn't find a good spot till this one but it was shortly ruined after a very bad experienced. I was a loyal customer since oct 2019. I had only two ppl do my nails. Particularly one person for my hands and one person for my toes. I went in one day for my SNS. Ivy wasn't there so I was ok with trying out a new person (Hieu). I didn't Mind paying $50 for sns and a manicure plus tip so basically $60 in total. Well after trying the other person, 7 days later, two of my nails were already lifting!!! I called and they told me to come and they'll look at it before fixing it. Long looked at it when I arrived and did fix it for free. Unfortunately, we couldn't find the same color to match but I was fed up that I didn't care as long as it kinda looked the same. She also had to put fake nails bc my nails were so thin it ripped off with the SNS. She did it quickly that it wasn't even even. After 2 days of getting the thumb and index finger fixed, the 4th nail came off. I've NEVER EVER HAD SNS ever fall off after 1 week of having them and it was only on one had!! I called on my day off to see if ivy was back and she wasn't and i was gonna pay again to just get the whole thing done over. But after calling and her being on vacation, I did not want to risk it anymore. I'm not sure I would like to pay $60 for my nails that hardly stayed on for a week. Came in for a fresh Powder SNS dip . After 1 day 6 nails either chipped , cracked or broke . I called to get them repaired wanted to come the same day but they told me to come at 12 less bz . I arrived at 11:45 and asked to soak the ones needing repair because I had to be back on the road by 12:30 . After 12:10 I asked if the tec was on her way reminding that I had to be gone at a certain time . 12:20 I asked if I could be refunded and just clean my handed off and put clear . They would not told me to come another day . So now my nails will all chip and break . They would not allow another tec to repair until I asked for my money back . See pictures . Honestly this place is pretty janky. When I was getting a pedicure the lady pulled out tools that had crusty stuff on them and she picked at them for a good couple of minutes. I got an sns set and the guy gave me lumpy, irregular nails that started pulling away after a week and a half. I am new to the Douglasville area. I tried them out. And from the start till finish the experience was terrible overpriced rude and fitlthy. I even decided to try again giving them another chance thinking maybe it was just a bad day. The experience was even worse! They are racist! I had my 6 year old with me and they were really nasty towards my child. I called my Vietnamese friend who owns a nail salon and had her translate what they were saying, she then told me they were speaking of all the clients as of we were cattle and very racist. She then began to talk to the woman handling my daughter and told her she deserves a lawsuit. The woman then in shock that I had someone on the line who can translate and let them know how terrible they are. I can go in and on about how terrible these people were.
