Cute spot, loved my nails. They executed what I asked and I love my nails and toes. Just as good as my normal spot. I came here today bc my normal spot is closed on Sunday's and this place is open which makes it very convenient, with it being just as close to home. That being said, it's overpriced. My toes shouldn't be as much as my nails. That's insane. $72 for a fill and toes both with gel. I wonder how much for a full set! I always tip both ladies $10 each so that put me at $92 to get my nails done :(. I do love them though, felt the place was very clean. I would definitely hesitate to come back though. Well I came here as an alt. to my usual place since it nice and clean, however the service is ok but my actual mani after wanting my Acrylics taken off was quite disappointing. It was truly basic. Cuticle shaping and cleanup was quite mundane and no extensive buffing from the acrylic removal. While another customer asked to have one of her toes redone, because the woman who put her shoes on scuffed them and then just tried to repaint them and left it chunky, the young girl helping me Literally made a huffing and puffing sound. Idk if I'll come back try better service next time. Hopefully they'll see this and be on their toes cuz I tip my girls WELL! read more

Tuesday afternoon. Waited for an hour with my feet soaking in the spa water. 5 people working and 3 customers, but no one was available to do my pedicure. It would've been fine if I knew there was a wait but I was sent to the chair as if I was about to be taken care of. Beyond disappointing. Worst part was 30 minutes in the woman says a "few more minutes." They did feel bad but, feeling bad doesn't excuse bad service. I wasn't offered anything in exchange so I can't feel bad for giving a bad review. I guess the moral of this story is, make an appointment. read more

Overpriced considering the quality of the services provided. The nail techs don't always follow through with requests or ask if you are happy with the process as you go but then act offended if you ask them to correct messy polish or a design. Pricing isn't always transparent so be prepared to pay more than what you anticipated based on the posted price. The last straw for me was how they treated my older daughter. We went in for pedicures and I clearly stated we had one adult and two kids. My oldest daughter was well under their posted cutoff for children's pricing. We got all three pedicures done and the manager told me the price which included an adult pedicure for one of my daughters. The price wasn't much more but when I questioned the difference, the manager's response was to point to my daughter and loudly state "her feet too big so charge more!" Needless to say, this was utterly humiliating to a preteen girl. Her feet were so monstrously huge that it would cost extra to take care of them?!?!? No, just no. I calmly pointed out that they have the ages for child services clearly listed and was told "but her feet big like grown-up so charge more". We have not been back. Pedicures are supposed to be relaxing and make you feel good about yourself, not demolish a young girl's self-esteem because the entire nail salon was informed about the size of her feet. read more

I have been to this place several times and it has been ok, although the customer service has always been mediocre. I took my daughter there today for mother daughter mani/pedi and they quoted us 30 min wait and after 45 min I asked how long and he told me another 20 min! I don't mind waiting since I was a walk in but be real on the time so that I can make the decision on whether to stay or leave. Poor poor service! After coming here for 2 yrs., new management, new employees and they have just lost a customer. I had to ask her to take all my cuticles off 3x, really? She was more concerned in talking in her language to the other employees instead of doing her job. Not to mention without asking took off my wedding band. That's a no no, ask first. Sunday Jan 27th was my husband and my first visit to Allure. We are members of Gold's Gym next door and were excited that a nail salon was opening soon. Upon entering the facility, we couldn't help but notice the cleanliness & sharp décor. We were greeted immediately and I was immediately seated with Tracy and had a full set of nails put on. She was remarkable, efficient - friendly - courteous - and very easy to communicate with. I'm not certain what the other reviews on Yelp are talking about? We were both received TOP NOTCH SERVICE and were offered water (which is a great touch of service/class). My husband was seated 15 min later and had a great pedicure, again efficient - friendly - courteous service. We've finally found our new favorite nail salon in Fullerton, close to home, great service within a super clean environment. Look forward to seeing Tracy for my fill in two weeks or so ! ! read more

I'm so sorry I came here. Yes I saw a HUGE amount of bad reviews on yelp but thought I would give this business the benefit of the doubt. Trust YELP reviews, this was a horrible experience. there is seriously something wrong with this owner. they refused to cut toe nails and the owner yelled at me that she didn't have to do any service she didn't want to. what?? who does this? she has a lot of bad reviews and they are immediately followed up with someone 'defending" the owner/salon, which typically means a friend, family member or worker to bring her ratings back up. People say they come here because it's cheap. it is not cheap. $17 for a ten minute pedicure with no cuticle trim, no nail cutting and no massage is not cheap. Go to Surf City Nail. Same price, longer massage, more detail, and nice people. don't waste your money or your time. read more

My wife just left this place and she was pretty upset with the service she received there and honestly it really takes a lot to get her this mad. She arrived with barely anyone there and waited for an hour and fifteen minutes for nothing, not exaggerating. They placed her feet in scolding hot water and left her there while people who came after her without appointments were serviced before her. Water eventually became cold and after about 45mins she followed up and asked which table she was going to next in a polite manner, basically just trying to get their attention. They replied that she would be next in two mins. 15 mins later they still hadn't helped her. She asked a third time after that 15 mins and got the same reply. She eventually left with just soaked feet and while she was leaving, you can hear all of them speaking in Vietnamese like they were talking negatively about her (this is my opinion, you had to be there). Anyway I usually give everyone great reviews and I understand how yelp effects a business, but this was unacceptable. I've been a few times before but will not return. My gel pedicure was fine but Jaclyn did my manicure and she did not pay attention to details and became hostile. I had my dip nails removed and cut short. She cut my nails and didn't ask what shape I wanted them. I didn't want to intrude on her process but when she started to paint them I had to stop her. I told her I wanted them round and that they were uneven. Again, I let her go through her process to fix them but one pinkie was very noticeably different than each other. I put them next to each other and she was irritated but started filing. I told her she could just cut it, she said "fine" and cut my nail quickly and with aggression then kind of threw the clipper back in the bin. I was close to asking her if she was mad but I didn't want to have a conflict. I was upset and nervous about her actions. She was very irritated when I had to pick a color and did a terrible paint job. When I got home I realized my pinkie was sore and red from where she cut it in anger. My friend and I came here because it is close to our work and we can just stop by after I'm off. Also. I had bad experiences at Professionail, so I was excited to have a new one nearby. The vibe is alright. They seem friendly. But I was bombarded by millions of questions of what I came in for. All I wanted and needed was a gel manicure. They kept pressing for a pedicure but I had shoes on and was planning to go to the gym right afterwards so I didn't need it done. They asked me three times. I finally got seated and they seated my friend right next to me. So I was happy about that. They weren't busy. So I figured that would happen. She started scraping my gel off my nails. And by God. I am good with pain but she was so rough. Also. I winced and complained and she said that its normal and the pain goes away in a second..... Are you for real? If I say it hurts. It hurts. That means to stop. She kept saying it only hurts for a second. I looked to my left and noticed my friend arguing with her nail lady. She was giving my friend attitude and clearly not in a good mood. Not to mention. At check out. They charged me $30 for my nails. Apparently the glittered nails is $5. Extra. They told me that it was one nail polish and offered to put glitter on it. But they charged me more. Besides that. My nails are uneven. Bulky and my fingers are so sore from her roughness. It's hot. They don't have the air on. And the constant talking in Vietnamese is so annoying. Can't I find a place where they don't blab all day? I want peace and quiet and music. Not hear them gossip all day long. Boy, do I have a story for you. I've been getting full sets done twice a month for a few years now so I know what to expect. This was my third time visiting Allure nails. First two visits were awesome. I went in yesterday to get a fill and I had an older woman with clear framed glasses work on my nails. I think her name was Anne. I told her that I want my nails cut shorter but have the same shape to them. She got started on my nails and nicked me with the grinder so I pulled back (natural reaction) and yelped. She told me not pull back and to just yell if she hurts me next time. Wait, what?! Then she forgot to cut my nails down so when I reminded her to, she responded with, "Why you no tell me before." Well basically, long story short my nails came out looking like crap so I grabbed the nail file and started reshaping them myself. The gentleman in the front came over and apologized and fixed them for me. He was very sweet. After that, the old lady finished up by putting cuticle oil on my nails then looked up at me with her big ol' bug eyes and asked me, "You okay?!". She looked like she wanted to reach over and punch me in the face. Then, she looked back down and shook her head left and right. So not only do you suck at what you do but you're also incredibly rude. Cool. I washed my hands and sat back down only to have her paint my nails like shit leaving polish on my fingers. A different lady came over and offered to erase the polish off my fingers. I still left her a decent tip since everyone works to earn a living but geez woman, CHILL! I'll probably come again as a last resort since the salon is down the street from my house but I won't let the lady with the clear framed glasses anywhere near me. read more

PLEASE READ. This is my first time ever feeling the need to give a company a poor review but after visiting this salon I was heated. When me and my sister walked in, there was only one other lady in there. My sister was getting dip nails and I was getting a pedicure so we weren't sitting next to each other. The first incident that took place involved Jaclyn (the woman doing my sisters nails). I listened to her telling my sister to come back every two weeks and she would fill the dip in for only $15 because she "doesn't like taking money from her clients" which honestly didn't alarm me at first but looking back it seems kinda sus. Less then five minutes later I received a picture from my sister of her finger dripping blood. Rather than fixing my her finger, Jaclyn got up and went to go work on the other woman's nails while two workers sat on their phones. It was at least 10 minutes before she returned to clean up the blood. She proceeded to clean the finger by POOR ALCOHOL ON IT without warning and then skewing a cotton ball and stabbing under the nail. That's when I decided to read reviews and soon wished I would have read them sooner as I was bombarded by poor reviews. I read a review on an unknown fee on a credit card and looked for a sign. After looking around for a little bit I found the sign that was sloppily written in crayon hidden behind a tree. My pedicure turned out amazing but by the end of it my skin was raw from being filed off and my cuticles being tugged. If I could give this place 0 stars I would! I went in for a simple pedicure because from the outside it looked really nice. I went in it was nice as well. But as soon as I got in there was no price list or anything. I wrote my name on the list for the walk in and there were only 2 other customers in there and 4 nail technicians working. The guy who was at the front desk (who was apparently a nail technician as well) told me it would be a couple of minutes. Then he goes and sits down at his station and put his headphones on & looks down until i get up and walk out. I will never go back there again. My friends and I went to Allure for the first time this past weekend and were not impressed. For the quality of the job, I'd give it 3 stars, mainly because I just had a regular manicure and those are pretty difficult to mess up. I admit I turned my head several times during the manicure to talk to my friend next to me and, yes, I probably tested the lady's patience. She did tell me to stop several times (though not kindly) but, honestly, I've never been that "scolded" in the past for moving my head. It wasn't like I was thrashing my head back and forth. If you can do a manicure for someone sitting on a massage chair, you can do a manicure while someone occasionally turns her head. It's not rocket science. When she started filing my nails she actually filed my skin. It was painful and i had to tell her to be more careful. Amateur hour. That being said, it wasn't the manicure job that was terrible. It was the service. Usually for a good job, I tip 20-25%. I felt this manicure was really mediocre, so I asked the lady to charge $14 to my card (17% tip). She scrunches her face and says, "$14?! just one dollars more!" uh. excuse me? Rude. Fed up I told her to just charge $15. I hope that extra dollar was worth offending a customer and risking a 1-star yelp review. read more

Zero stars if I could. Worst spot ever. Went in to get a mani pedi and asked for my nails to be squared and for some reason the man filed my nail down in the middle and not the whole nail. I simply said no sorry squared, he did it again and showed me and it was the same thing, filed down in the middle only and the edges weren't touched. I again said no I'm sorry and showed the women doing my toes and asked her to help me. The man got so mad he threw his file and started yelling in his language . I said sorry for the third time, this time to the women doing my toes and even asked her if I was. She said no that it was obvious he wasn't doing squared. I stayed and finished my mani pedi in total discomfort. Besides having good nails, it's a quick relaxation and watching whatever on my phone during that time is what I look forward to BUT man I sat there in total silence and just wanted to leave. I still paid full price and tipped the ones that did work on my nails. Besides the service, the nail polish was packed on and was able to pill off the next day. I did the gel may I add, never had it pilled off the next day like that from other places. I won't be going here again. I had no choice but to call the BBB only because I did end up getting some type of fungus on my toe nail this happen like a month ago and I have not gone to get a mani pedi since. This place is horrible now I wouldn't recommend to anyone. I've been living in Fullerton since 2008, when it first opened it was my go to nail salon. When they changed owners recently, the place went downhill. They have short staff that rarely pays attention to you . Me and my grandmother went a few days ago as a last resort because the place I usually go to was far and I didn't have much time . We waited a good 30 minutes, knowing they were short staffed they seated two other people. One of the machines was broken so they sat my grandmother somewhere else, then the lady that was supposed to help my grandma out began to help the lady that came after us. They only helped my grandma instead when they say how pissed off I was. Not only that but the nail polish sucks here. I was wearing sandals and she did my toes so thick and goopy that it still smeared. I went back the next day so they could fix it and she did the exact same thing she made it super thick, there was even a patch that had no polish on it. I looked at her, I was furious, she redid it. I would not recommend this nail salon AT ALL. I've come here on three occasions, each time leaving disappointed with my nails damaged. One of my nails got caught on fire the first time I came here, right after getting them done. I was wondering why the woman working on me seemed so adamant on me getting gel acrylic rather than just regular acrylic nails, but thought maybe she was just trying to up sell . VERY SUSPICIOUS. I came back to inquire about it and the lady's response was "Acrylic bad, don't get acrylic, just get gel only." This has NEVER happened to me when I get my regular acrylic nails done at any other salon. Still, I decided to give them another chance after some time and came back for a gel acrylic nail set, this time it was a man who proceeded to do them. They didn't even last a week. After three days, my ring finger acrylic nail came off and I had to go out of my way to get it fixed by the same male worker. I decided to come back AGAIN for a fill after 3 weeks and while getting them done, the same man who'd worked on my nails previously cut me deeply and made me BLEED, then tried to blame it on me, with NO remorse. He then proceeded to cover my extremely bloody nail with alcohol and charged me regular price even though the nail ended up not even lasting a WEEK. I refuse to come back to this establishment again to get it fixed. I will never EVER come here again. If I could give them 0 star(s) I would. Plus I usually never leave yelp reviews, however I feel that it's important for anyone thinking about coming or returning to this establishment to know that it's definitely NOT WORTH IT. read more

I was in the area visiting a friend and needed a quick pedi. This place is very clean! There are a ton of colors to choose from and the nail tech was friendly, even offered me a cool drink. She did a nice job with the polish and the massage was really relaxing especially because I had ran a few miles the day before. read more
