The light is safe to look at but it's bright, so Lisa protected our eyes with cotton balls in the goggles for comfort while we rested. The red light improved our moods and helped to calm us down for the rest of the day. Then, we moved to the acupressure beds which were really nice with a light show playing on the curtains. I think this was my favorite modality. Next, we sat next to each other in reclining chairs and compression boots. Then, we moved to the halotherapy room where I was able to stare at my daughter's beautiful face while we relaxed across from each other. The halotherapy was so microfine that we couldn't even notice the air particles we breathed in. The dry sauna was next and because we shared a room, we listen to the meditation that I chose and at the end we poured water on the hot Japanese rocks to have a steam sauna effect to wipe off the sweat before we showered. Next, we each showered with the products that we prechosen and the shower steamers that we chose. We finally finished the session with hot tea and shortbread cookies that were specially paired in the tasting menu. We had to rush off to a party right after. If we did not have any plans after, we would have taken delicious afternoon naps. We both had a wonderful experience and fell in love with Lisa. I had my second Skinceuticals chemical peel with Nurse Zayda, who she is kind and knowledgeable; I enjoyed the way she explained the benefits of the additional masks she applied, as well as checking in on my comfort during the peel. After this second peel, I have notice a BIG change in my skin! My regular esthetician commented that my skin tone was very even and the hyperpigmentation on my cheeks faded nicely.
