Pros: - Lots of parking and easy to find location - ambiance is relaxing as soon as you enter the door. It's gorgeous inside with bright lighting, comfy chairs, lots of plants, clean, relaxing sounds, and that fresh spa scent - the staff that greeted me was so polite and took the time to explain how everything worked. She guided me through the scalp screen, offered me a complimentary beverage, and when she walked me to my spa room, she explained all the steps which made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. - the spa bed is heated so it's extremely cozy and you instantly start feeling relaxed. - I booked my treatment with Becca and she was so sweet and gentle. It is tough to be able to massage someone's head while also being precise with how you shampoo, condition, massage, towel wrap someone while working through an area where pain tolerance can be low. Becca did an amazing job. I didn't feel any tugging or pulling and my scalp has never felt so clean ! The 60 min package also came with a face/neck massage which released some pressure points. - during the blow dry, Becca was really charming and easy to talk to and the blow dry went by super quick. Came here for the first time today with a friend, we booked the paired 60 min deep scalp treatment for 2 people (you do it side by side in the same room for a shared experience). We booked a couple weeks ahead of time beforehand and did the 2pm appointment on a Tuesday. Price was $112 per person online (before tip, I think with a discount that is going on right now?), but if you pay with cash after your appointment, they do give you a 5% discount (we got $15 off per person because I think it was from the original non-discounted price). They let you tip either with card or cash afterwards and put it in an envelope for the person who helped you. They said they've only been open 1.5 years ish which is pretty impressive! Pros: - SUPER easy and available parking, very easy to get to from the East Bay - Extremely relaxing - the ambiance was very clean with lots of plants, really chill music. I almost fell asleep during my treatment because it was so calm. - The treatment was great - my scalp felt super rejuvenated, and I could see on the ipad camera they used that it was super gunky before and so much cleaner afterwards. - They did a full 50 mins of: a short scalp massage, a really deep clean of my hair and scalp, and also a short neck massage and upper shoulders massage. There's also a 10 min blow dry at the end that felt pretty good - my hair was so soft and smelled really good - I like that they don't talk to you too much during the treatment so you can really relax and shared quiet experience with your friend! - Lots of available appointments from morning all the way to like 7pm, which is really helpful on a weekday if you want to go after work! - Gave us complimentary drink when we walked in - They were super communicative as the appointment came closer to the date. - A lot of gen-Z workers but don't be scared, everyone was pretty kind and professional lol Cons: - The only thing that I thought was weird was that I didn't see them clean the little camera probe thing between showing my friend her scalp and mine - but maybe it's because it was before our treatments and we were clean after? idk Overall we had a fantastic experience here and I want to come back for the 90 min treatment! My appt was scheduled for 11am on a Saturday, and I arrived at 10:50am - I like to be early. I was greeted with warm ambiance and very nice aesthetics. The young lady at the front desk was warm, helpful and inviting. She offered me a drink, and they have options (non alcoholic and such). She took a scalp analysis, showing me what my scalp looks like close up - super interesting, but also kind of gross. Lol!!I waited a few minutes and was shown to the treatment room. My technician was Kevin. He was amazinggg! I loved every part of my services enough to fall asleep. I was fading in and out of sleep because it was so comforting. After my service, I was taken to a common area where Kevin dried and styled my hair. The products that were used smelled so good! Then the young lady from the front showed me my scalp after the treatments. OMG, the difference!!!!! My scalp never felt cleaner, my hair was incredibly smooth and overall a wonderful experience! You get an option of several drinks and a look at your current scalp status (yuck). Then they get you into your room and for me I got the 90 min which included a massage/facial/scalp treatment (all in that order). For the life of me I can't remember her name but she was so sweet and kept on checking on me for pressure also making sure I was ok with each step. At the end I was soooo relaxed and even got a last massage on my shoulders before my blow out. My hair is curly so I don't want to preface they are just blow drying to the best of their abilities but I was told you can bring your products if you want. Love this and highly recommend!!! When I called to inform them I was running late due to an unforeseen medical reason, I felt rushed and she cut me off while explaining. A bit more understanding would have gone a long way. That said, they were able to reschedule us for the next day, which I appreciated. Upon arrival, we were greeted, but the warmth didn't last long. I recognized the receptionist's voice from the call, and while she did offer us drinks, she seemed unsure of the available options. I later noticed a wider selection in the fridge that wasn't offered to us, which was a small but noticeable detail. Additionally, her casual attire of sweat pants and a crop top showing her belly didn't quite fit the polished spa environment I expected. The service itself was quite relaxing--the facial and back massage were wonderful. However, the music in our room stopped playing, which impacted the ambiance. It took some time before I asked about it, and while my girl was very kind, she hadn't noticed. It turned out to be an internet issue, and thankfully, the music eventually came back on. As for the hair portion, I have curly hair and was given a diffusing treatment, but it left my hair poofy and frizzy. I wasn't sure if they offered a blow-dry option, as that wasn't communicated. Another concern was the brushes--I noticed one sitting in a box on the counter with other hair stuff, rather than in a visible sterilizer, which I've seen at other head spas. This was my first time at this particular spa but my third head spa experience, so I was hoping for a bit more attention to cleanliness. I did not use the brush in the box. When it was time to review my scalp post-treatment, the receptionist came over before my hair was fully dry and seemed eager to move things along with my girl. I also noticed that the device used to check mine and hubby's scalps wasn't wiped down between uses. At checkout, I was surprised that rather than being asked about our experience, the first question was about tipping 18 or 20% today. I was taken aback by the blunt question. While I always plan to tip for good service, it would have been nice to have a moment to reflect on our visit first. My friend and I were greeted immediately and we thought the reception area was the most adorable thing ever. It was so cute! We were offered complimentary drinks which we loved! And while we waited, the receptionist showed us what the current condition our scalp was in. My scalp had a lot of oil buildup and discoloration so that was the main focus for today's visit. We were taken into a room where we were told we can take our shirts off or if we were wearing a tank top we can just put it off our shoulders and then we got under the covers. The bed table thing was heated for us and we were given pillows to put under our knees to feel more comfortable. We started with the facial and my girl Teresa was so good with her hands that she put me to sleep! I was in an out or sleep that I vaguely remember the whole experience lol. I've never had a facial before but it felt like a lot of moisturizing, mask, and massaging to my face which I actually enjoyed. The hair washing and waterfall shower felt like heaven. After blow drying my hair, I definitely felt like my scalp felt healthier, and my skin was glowing even more. The oil buildup was gone and there was some color to my scalp! There's a promotion/discount going right now so I paid $128 for a 60 minute scalp treatment and facial. But honestly I think the whole experience lasted 1.5 hours.
