The young lady who did my underarms was very insensitive in the sense that she did not displace great customer service. The wax was entirely too hot. I do not feel like she waited long enough for the wax to completely dry before ripping it off. There was additional hair in a crevice under my arm bc I am not skinny and she did not even try to remove it and just blatantly told me she couldn't remove it. I've gotten my arms waxed multiple times and never have been told that. I honestly just think it was the technician that I had..cause if I had Aja, it probably wouldn't have been so terrible.

I never met the stylists before so I chose Tristina because her availability matched with mine. The salon was very clean upon arriving and Tristina was the best. She was super sweet and very confident in her work. I explained how I wanted the wolf cut and a few examples from photos I found online. She advised that she loves doing dramatic cuts, I was cutting a significant amount of hair off, and that she does wolf cuts all the time. I felt relieved because it was going to be a big change and I wanted my hair to be easy to style and have a lot of fun layers. She did an amazing job. It's been over a week since I had my cut and I still love how beautifully layered it is. I would recommend seeing Tristina for your next cut.

She really knows her stuff as far as styles go in terms of what works with your face shape and skin tone (for color) and whatnot, so she's great to get advice from. Being a cancer survivor, she also has lots of experience with styling wigs, so on my most recent visit I was able to have her style my custom wig and give me some care tips- I can't say how much I appreciate this! (Like did you know heat can affect color too? I didn't; so even if it's a real hair wig go gentile with that heat if at all!) I've also gotten my hair done by other stylists here over the years- my hair isn't anything complicated, just super long (usually getting a trim) but all of them have been great and there isn't anyone I wouldn't go to again. A bit off the beaten path, but close to Oxford and many MD locales and definitely worth the trip!

My waxer did a great job. She took her time, measured/waxed/trimmed/plucked to perfection. She took the time to go over some tips and tricks with me and I left feeling like a new person. They require masks during the service, which they had for you to grab at the salon. Love that as we were very up close and personal and I know germs are flying around this time of the year. The salon is trendy and welcoming. Can't wait to go back.
