The clinic staffs are very busy. Long waiting time in the waiting room even if you have a 9am appointment, you will be seen past 12noon based on experience. Post op nurses here are always on a rush, they also have earbuds on their ears talking spanish non stop and I cannot understand anything. Even if you're in excruciating pain they don't care, as soon as you wake up they want you in a wheelchair and get out even if you ate groggy. Its affordable here compared to different states that's why most people travel here because the amount you spend will be a quarter of what's for example in the Bay area. But expect you are just a number here. People go in and out and that's it. If you have a problem or complication, you are on your own. Its hard to communicate to the staff even if you are dying or what. Emergency room or PCP will not help you if you have a complication as well. Dr Kaufman is 5/5 but the clinic staffs is 1/5. They recently increased their prices and it takes couple of months to get a schedule.

Both my friend and I had surgery here on different days, and both of us waited over two hours just to be called during pre-op. The receptionists were very rude and spoke very little English. When I asked when I would be seen, they would roll their eyes instead of providing an update. Because they kept giving me inaccurate wait times, I had to cancel my Uber twice. My surgery was scheduled for 6:00 AM. I arrived right at 6:00, and the door was unlocked but the entire clinic was dark and completely empty. When I walked inside, the burglary alarm started going off. I immediately walked back outside and waited in case law enforcement showed up. Staff didn't start arriving until around 6:30 AM, which was very concerning. During pre-op they took photos, and they also took photos the day after my surgery. The issue is that my results look exactly the same as before the procedure, which is not what I was told to expect. I was told that about 40% reduction would occur, but instead it appears like no visible change at all. It has now been three weeks since my surgery, and I reached out to the doctor regarding the photo comparisons. I was told that many people require multiple sessions to achieve their goals. However, the concern is that there is no noticeable difference between my pre-op photos, the day-after photos, and my current results three weeks later. After this experience, I did deeper research and found that others online have reported similar concerns, and there are several negative reviews describing comparable experiences. As this is my 2nd visit to Miami - I'm well aware the surgeon cannot possibly review every inquiry- so your photos are reviewed by "sales reps". I was given a quote for a mommy makeover that included extended tummy tuck, 4 areas of lipo along with breast lift and implants. After I received quote - I advised my "surgical coordinator" (these "coordinators" are a joke by the way with no experience) that I did not want implants so to adjust the quote price. She assured me it could be adjusted but to meet with surgeon (Mel Ortega) first. I agreed to this after being reassured multiple times the quote could be adjusted. I put the absolute minimum amount down to secure my surgery date as I didn't want to over pay since the quote was going to be revised right? WRONG!! I arrived for my Pre Op appointment and waited 3 HOURS to meet with Ortega!!! The paperwork only took about 20 minutes- before photos took 5 minutes...this was just the beginning of the BS with this facility... Dr. finally arrives- we discuss quote- he marks off implants and that he's only doing 2 areas of lipo instead of 4. He blatantly says these girls that do the quotes ALWAYS try to upsell crap clients don't need! Once Dr. leaves- coordinator comes in and says if I'm paying with CareCredit I need to pay now before the only person in the office who knows how to process this- leaves for the day. I said ok that's fine but let's adjust my quote first. I was given some BS explanation and pressured into letting them process the difference of original price so this lady could leave for the day. Now this is where all I can do is laugh- The balance is now paid in full- I am now asking for the adjusted amount that will be put back since I'm not getting implants and all the areas of lipo...do you know they had the nerve to say the implants were a promo- after a bit of a heated exchange they agreed to take $500 off- yes that's it- but here's the funniest part- after taking $500 they then said I OWE an extra $485. All I could do was laugh bc yes this was really happening! At this point- what am I to do- my surgery is OVERpaid for and well tomorrow is surgery... Day of surgery: I arrive at my scheduled time which is 3pm. There's another woman in the waiting room- I ask her what she's getting and who's her Dr...can you guess...she's getting a MMO with the same Dr! Okay now I'm scared and so confused- how is the same doctor going to perform 2 surgeries that take anywhere from 3-5 hours...there's no logic here that both of us will be getting the Dr. we thought we chose to perform our elected procedure! I'm sure somewhere in fine print everyone signs off that they agree to allow a phantom surgeon to assist or complete majority of surgery...so the lady gets called back and then I get called back 2 hours later- I ask the Dr. to help me understand how the scheduling works and how he can perform so many surgeries in such a small window- basically they do "the work" and have another doctor stitch you up. He said if he did very surgery from start to finish- he'd only be able to take about 2-3 patients a day and that isn't any money. I appreciated the transparency but wow! I didn't get out of surgery until almost 11pm! A bit of context: I hired a post op care team to pick me up from surgery and care for me the rest of the week... shoutout to A1 Concierge...they are supposed to get a call from the nurse 30 minutes prior to me waking up to make sure my transportation is already sitting outside...as time goes by and it's getting later into the night-my post op team attempts to reacheout to facility to get some kind of update. Their attempts go unanswered. The owner of A1 concierge actually drives over to Xiluet to speak to someone face to face. She told me upon arrival (this was documented) that the front door was open and she was able to walk all the way back to the surgery room! Now that's concerning. I have given this facility so many opportunities to redeem themselves by just helping me with my postop care...but my concerns have gone unanswered and request for my medical records have passed the 30 day window they gave me that I would receive them. After leaving this review on Google- I'm going to post this wherever I can to let others know please don't go to this facility. And I will be filing a complaint because they won't release my medical records or even a courtesy email.

For that reason alone, I cannot recommend his office and here is why. My story- I booked my surgery in February 2017 and was assigned to Yisel as my patient coordinator. It was supposed to be in July 2017, but it was cancelled because I didn't get medical clearance. After my surgery was cancelled it was almost impossible to get Yisel back on the phone. I paid Eres Plastic Surgery (that was their name at the time) a deposit to hold my date. According to the cancellation policy, I was entitled to a refund. I have emailed Yisel for days and she has yet to respond. I know she is getting my emails since all of them have been sent with read receipts. I called the office and spoke with Claudia, Yisel's manager, only to be told by Claudia that I have to speak with Yisel. As of today I have not heard from Yisel or Claudia regarding my refund. They are both ignoring my calls. It is my understanding that Imagenes Plastic Surgery (again, formerly Eres Plastic Surgery) has a slew of complaints against them and that they are under investigation by the Attorney General's Office in Florida. When I spoke with a clerk at the Attorney General's Office, she explained that the state is aware of their practices, which include procedures performed by unlicensed physicians and refusing to issue a refunds according to the signed agreement. At the clerk's suggestion I went online to file a complaint against them. I have also filed a complaint with my credit card company to get my deposit refunded. I truly believe everything happens for a reason and I am thankful for the signs that led me not to get surgery at Imagenes Plastic Surgery. Here are a few things I did not know about them prior to booking my surgery: 1. Eres Plastic Surgery (their former name) had a death in March 2017 and November 2016. Both deaths were the result of poorly done bbl's performed by unlicensed plastic surgeons. 2. Prior to being called Eres Plastic Surgery they were called Encore Plastic Surgery. There are also deaths linked to Encore Plastic Surgery. Please google both names. 3. There are numerous articles that link the deaths at Encore Plastic Surgery to facility and equipment failure. Update: Nancy, the person who commented on my review, says they now have this equipment. 4. Jonathan Fisher, M.D. is the ONLY board-certified physician at Imagenes Plastic Surgery. 5. Imagenes Plastic Surgery does NOT use board-certified anesthesiologist. Instead, likely to cut cost, they use Nurse Anesthesiologist. This could explain why a woman was left brain dead following breast implants a few years ago. Verdict - Please do your research before you decide to get plastic surgery. Imagenes Plastic Surgery is filled with unlicensed physicians, possible inadequate equipment, and is under investigation for failure to refund deposits. To Nancy: In response to your comment. My review is for Jonathan Fisher. Not Anthony Fisher. I've never heard of Anthony Fisher. And Yisel and Claudia, who you seem to know, are employees of Imagenes.
