Buyer BEWARE!!! We ordered a custom gluten free cake on March 29, 2026. There's now a sign in the front door from the Jefferson County Courts that reads, Writ of Restitution dated 3/17/26. This posting was not on the door on March 29th when Wave the Grain took our full deposit for a graduation cake. They willingly took our money when they knew they were in trouble with the courts. Losers!! We now know we'll never get the cake we ordered..... Now the doors are locked, not responding to emails, voicemails, or open during business hours. Ohhh, and other customers are also complaining about the same issues about Wave the Grain on social media. I'm very thankful Visa has a great dispute policy when fraud like this occurs. Visa has been very helpful when we and other customers have been deceived. Thankfully, the Colorado State Attorney General and BBB have been notified!!! It's sad to see folks take customer's hard earned money and obviously be out of business. Do yourself a favor, and Don't support this business!!!! read more

Staff is really nice and helpful. Sad that the Centennial location closed. The breakfast burritos are amazing and the chocolate croissants and cannolis are delicious. The only thing I'd take away half a star for if I could would be the price. $10 for a croissant and $6 for a scone is a little crazy. Wave The Grain is hands down one of the best gluten-free bakeries I've ever been to! Everything tastes so fresh and homemade, you'd never guess it's gluten free. From the breads to the pastries to the specialty desserts, every bite is packed with flavor. Their cupcakes are soft and moist, the cookies are perfectly chewy, and the breads have the best texture (no crumbly, dry stuff here!). Only been to the Bowles location once, but ordered a few things. I'm gluten free and vegan, as are the items in the review. I can bake from scratch and am well acquainted with Bob's Red Mill and Pamela's products. Sourdough rolls - 5 for $10, but pretty tasty, moist if steamed/nuked a bit before enjoying - my favorite product so far. Small Yellow Cake w/some frosting - too dry and chewy for my tastes, just OK Cupcakes - same as cake, but good with a sip of coconut milk; frosting and fruit gel good - recommend cutting the cupcake to have a bit of frosting/fruit gel with each slice...makes it less dry/chewy Service was terrific, patient, helpful and noted that most items can be made vegan upon advance request (all items are GF, most are not vegan). It's gonna be pricey, but I'll return again to try some more bits and perhaps order vegan bits in advance. Disappointed with vegan cinnamon rolls. They must be preordered with a minimum of 6 buns. Wish I could've tried one instead of having to order them because they were not good. The bread part is dense, really hard, and salty. The frosting was good because it was not too sweet, but overall it's not edible so I am super disappointed we spent the money on half a dozen. read more

Amazing GF bakery!! My boyfriend and I both have celiacs and I also am vegan and I discovered this place going to the summer GF farmers markets! They were by far my favorite stand every time so I knew I had to check out their store. Absolutely exceeded my expectations! They have all the items identified by being dairy free, Vegan, or just GF which was amazing and easy to pick what I wanted!! And everything I've ever gotten is just fantastic! My boyfriend got a breakfast burrito and a pumpkin cannoli and LOVED them. My favorite items are definitely all the breads!! They're so moist and amazing and I'm always taking home extras. I also loveee their cookies!! Will definitely keep coming back and I would recommend to any of my GF or Vegan friends! Keep being amazing because I loveee it here! I doubt this train wreck of a business will survive. If it doesn't, it will be a direct result of the new owner's despicable behavior and disorganization. Short story....after them losing my order multiple times, the new owner blamed the old owner, whom he described as the "f@t old owner" and a "f@t idiot", even though it was he who was there as my order was taken (not the former owner). I could not believe my ears as he crazily ranted about the old owner. So I asked if he just called the former owner "f@t". He said yes, doubling down and proceeding to call her "f@t" again. Longer story.... I called 1.5 weeks ago to place a very large order of approx 8 items, probably totaling approx $400. The young lady who answered the phone did not know any anllergen information about the products so she had to ask the (new) owner. After a lot of confusion about whether certain products contain dairy, I finally finished placing the order with them. A few days later I called back to add something to the order. The lady who answered the phone could not find the original order. She said she would check with the bakers and get back to me. But she never did. Today the young lady I originally put the order in with called me back and told me they lost the order. And asked me to give her the order info again. At this point I was feeling distrustful that this place could actually process my order. And I certainly could not trust that it all would be Dairy Free. So I asked to speak with the manager . The new owner (who was there as I was placing the original order 1.5 weeks ago) got on the phone. I explained that there had been a lot of confusion about my order and it seems to be ultimately lost. I was looking for some sort of assurances from management that this bakery could be trusted to take down an accurate order, process and deliver the order and have it all be GF DF. The response I got from the owner was incredulous. He started ranting about the former (in his words) "f@t owner" being an "idiot" for transferring the ordering process into the Shop or Shopify system. (I thought to myself "did he just call the former owner 'f@t'? Maybe he said 'sad'. Or 'old'. Or something else"). He continued his rant by continuing to ridicule the former owner saying the "f@t idiot" old owner made such a stup1d decision and blamed her for losing a lot of orders and causing general confusion. (Meanwhile it was under HIS ownership that my order was taken). I interrupted him and asked "did you just call the former owner 'f@t'?" He said "yes" that she IS "f@t', and continued his rant about her performance while degrading her with his s3xist ad hominem comments. It was truly unbelievable. Instead of assuring me my order would be processed correctly, he chose to go in the complete opposite direction by confirming what a mess this business is organizationally while degrading the former owner in a manner I found to be misogynistic and despicable. I told him I will not do business with them and that I find his behavior disgusting. He hung up on me. Now I have no idea where I am going to find GF DF cannoli for Christmas. But I have a pretty good idea why the former owner left. Good riddance. read more

I put in an online order last week to get a vegan pecan chocolate pie for my birthday (I also noted that if this wasn't possible, to just go with a vegan pecan pie). They messaged me a day or so later asking if I wanted to pick it up at Littleton or Centennial- I promptly responded Littleton and they got back to me sending the invoice, which I paid immediately and tipped well. Some mix up happened in the week following. I pick up my order at Littleton and headed off to my bday celebration, then went home with a tummy ache. Later I noticed I had received an email saying the pie was dairy free, not vegan, but I had already eaten some. I called them the following morning and they said they had the actual order waiting at their centennial location despite me specifying otherwise . The manager got back to me apologizing and said they'd remake it and have a vegan one ready at Littleton. I picked up the replacement today and it looked like someone had dropped it- much of the filling had sloshed out. I had given up at this point and took the free replacement, despite its sad state. I'd rather have a refund on the defunct $40 pie. The taste was good but my experience left much to be desired and an upset stomach after eating non vegan . Be sure to double check everything! For an allergen conscious bakery, this could have had serious consequences. If I had a serious allergy, which luckily I don't, this could have ended much worse than a tummy ache and a sad pie. :/ read more

What a gem! The staff is SO kind and walk you carefully through all the different, organized options(keto, dairy free, vegan, etc). A delicious allergy-friendly bakery! A friend and I were interested in trying out their Gluten, dairy, and soy-free sourdough bread so I went to pick up an order. Even though the website states that it's free of all the things I listed above, when I got there, they said that they spray the pan with a soy spray and I am allergic to soy. I wish they would opt to use a more neutral oil that's allergy-friendly, such as avocado oil spray. I was not able to pick up a loaf so that was super disappointing, but the ladies who work there were so gracious to order me a custom loaf, free of all the things, and at no extra charge. It took about a week to get a loaf for myself, but it was worth the wait! It was so delicious even though it felt super dense, it was the perfect texture and great for slicing to make some toast. The sourdough loaves were $15 a piece so not the cheapest but for a fresh gluten-free bread, it's worth it! I also got some pumpkin and chocolate breads, each for six dollars a piece so it's definitely a splurge but they were delicious especially when you heat them just slightly. I'm so glad that the bakery is just a short trip down the road from my house. I'll definitely be making more trips here soon! read more

I'm so glad I finally tried this place out! I wasn't planning on going the day that I went, but when I saw it in the shopping center I was at I knew I had to go in. The staff were super friendly! The lady that helped me pointed out all of the vegan choices. There were so many! I picked a chocolate coffee cake and I was so glad I did! Delicious, safe options for GF folks. Sweet and savory times were available and each day a special kind of treat is offered. We were greeted right away and given a "tour" of the cases and offered info about the shop. Definitely recommend! Our cupcakes were moist and not heavy and dense like many gf treats can be. I picked up 6 different cupcakes (all equally delicious) and some banana bread. The consistency of the cupcakes and bread were so smooth and soft! No one could even tell it was gluten free. I was so excited to be buying freshly baked GF bread. It was just meh... VERY dense, dry, and lacked flavor. The price was crazy expensive- $22 for 1 loaf of sour dough bread. An entirely gluten free bakery!? Yes PLEASE! It's always a great vacation when you come across a gem like Wave The Grain! We were lucky to be there on a Saturday, so we treated ourselves to the Donuts! I had the Cotton Candy (staff pick) and the German Chocolate and both were DIVINE! The cotton candy surprised me for sure! It was delicious! We also tried a chocolate cake (shared with husband) and it was pretty good, and a breakfast burrito. It was all wonderful! P.S.
