I had an issue with a defective piece (it happens) and a negative Customer Service experience last night. I even left a Review that took some real bad energy to put together, but after consideration of how all my other experiences are of this place I decided, before I removed my Review, I would go in and try to work out something a second time with someone else. It worked out smoothly, the details of which are between the shop and myself and let's just say I have been made happy, happy enough to leave this Review. 4 out of 5 Stars only because I had to even get on here to begin with, everything else was made right immediately. When I started, I went to my local store, Almond Smoke Shop in Menifee, to ask a few questions and get some recommendations. I was surprised to find a good sized walk-in humidor, with shelves stocked full of great cigars. They have a very good variety, and you'll find just about all of the highest rated sticks in the past few years. They have a very good selection of mid-range cigars, and plenty of budget smokes, as well. The guys are knowledgeable, and on several of my visits, some of their suggested cigars have become my favorites. They also have a discount program for frequent customers, and I've taken advantage of their regular "buy 5, get the 6th one free" several times. Their cigars are kept at the proper temperature and humidity, and they're ready to enjoy immediately. They have actually brought in a few selections that I've asked for, and they usually ask what else I would like to see on the shelf. Recently, they doubled the size of their humidor. As far as smoke shops go this place is top notch. I purchased my hooka here. They have a pretty good selection of hookas and tobacco flavors. I also buy incense sticks here and cosmetic contact lenses. During Halloween they carry the custom lenses like cats eye and zombie eyes. The prices are reasonable for the accessories for hooka and other pipes. They have a nice selection of shirts, hats, other kinds of smoke supplies. They have nice hand blown glass pipes and hooka pipes. I make it a point to come here about once every two weeks. They have pretty good service. The guys are helpful if you have questions. I don't smoke cigarettes only hooka flavored tobacco but they have a good selection of vapes for people who use e cigarettes or vaping. I like the location It's conveniently located to my residence. I came here because of Yelp's 25% off check-in offer. Imagine my surprise when the clerk CHECKS yelp looking for my boyfriends review, which was favorable. He then REFUSED us service until the review showed up. How pretentious!!! Not only was he rude and disrespectful during these times, but this man does not know how to run a business. I was even surprised that he was open all day since vape shops are not considered essential businesses. I have been a patron of this establishment for over 2 years now and finally said "F" this place. I have had numerous less than ideal experiences with this shop but today was the final straw. I went in today to attempt to get a new vape coil for my wife's vape but unfortunately did not have my wife's vape with me. That left me having to work with the staff to figure out what would be The correct coil. I was working with one guy (pleasantly) and when he went briefly to help another customer, a different employee approached me with a straight up immediate attitude. He informed me rather aggressively that I would need my wife's vape in order to match it. I explained that I was simply trying to establish what vape's fit the coils as I know relatively well how it looks, just not the coil number. He continued to throw attitude when I explained what I was trying to do to the point where I told him that if he didn't want to F'ing help me I would go somewhere where they actually do. I go into that store easily 1-2/week and usually spend at least $400/month as a single patron. I'm sure with the level of attitude present that they will not miss my revenue which is fine, but I will do my part to ensure that this place does not receive any future business by way of word of mouth from me. I was refered to this shop by a friend. My first time in I purchased e-juice (Zeus its a blueberry danish flavor) and a battery (LG). The juice was fantastic and the Owner Shawn was helpful and courteous despite all the other customers. Sadly I had an issue and the battery died after one charge. I came back about a week after and Shawn remembered me and hapilly exchanged the battery no questions asked. He apologized for the issue and said if I had any more issues come back and he would personally take care of them.
