I really enjoyed the vibes and even though I have mobility issues with ground work I felt challenged without feeling embarrassed. This is truly a safe space for movement and I will be back. Plenty of parking for a morning-weekend class. I may be biased when I say Ally is the best person to start your Saturday morning with.

People's Yoga in Monterey Park (near ELAC) exceeds my wildest dreams. This single studio with wooden-floors and plants is homey and yet located on the second floor of a plaza and across from the metro station (Atlantic stop). It's truly a delight - not to mention the one and only Latina-owned yoga studio is the area (if not LA?). My favorite class is "Body Soft" on Thursday nights at 7pm with Diane. This class is for those that want to ease into yoga (a.k.a. Beginners) or those who need to chill from a long work week. But...please don't meditate into sleep. Yes, rarely does snorting ensue. On-site parking is available and the studio provides all the equipment and even water, just bring your own water bottle. Pre-registration is recommended as the studio only accommodates so many people. If the single class price is steep for your budget, check out their packages as they offer a built-in discount. Also, first timers can try out a monthly on a discount. For the yogis or yogis in training, you may be interested in their training program. Personally, I'm not a fan of virtual movement classes because I prefer to be in-person, but for those on a shoe string budget that may an option. Either way, I LOVE People's Yoga! Shout out to Leah and Lauren, co-founders, Latina mama business owners, and yoga instructors. Their dream to open this brick and mortar became a reality years ago and has been going strong for years.

Been a member for a couple months now and got to say this place has been great! Was a long time…read moremember of LA fitness before the pandemic, so decided to try this place since they were the only gym open. I don't usually write reviews but workout experience has been awesome here . Got a couple buddies that joined shortly after and still going strong as well Great variety of machines, spaced out & outside workout area available as well during this whole pandemic. Staff is always very welcoming & helpful when I have any questions. Now that everything's reopening I'm not planning to switch back. Cheaper monthly membership & they have gyms available wherever I go as well . Will highly recommend!

Multi station level adjusting racks for all types of rows or pull downs as well as pull up bars. Isolation machines too. Plenty of cardio equipment & four Stair masters. Not an inch of gym space is wasted. This gym also has two training areas, one of which has TRX bands, a variety of kettlebell sets, yoga balls, and studio that are open to ALL members. On top of that, friendly staff that is constantly maintaining the gym clean and in order. Extremely helpful when the staff and management are all on the same page. They're there to help. Can't say anything negative about this place. Would highly recommend to all, especially to those new to working out.
