When I heard the Michelin starred Alo had an affordable quick serve chain close to my work, I was excited to try it out. I wasn't very hungry so I skipped the burger and instead got the mini wedge salad ($5) and the 3-piece chicken tenders ($9). They actually ended up giving me 4 tenders instead of 3, so overall I thought the quantity of food for the price was more than fair. I didn't eat the food immediately after picking up, but regardless the chicken tenders were still very crispy and well seasoned. I was really looking forward to trying the famous Aloette wedge salad, but honestly it was a bit disappointing. I found the topping to be far too salty, which really detracted from the appeal of the dish. Overall Aloette Go was pretty good and I'd like to come back to try the burgers and fries in the future.

Aloette Go is a grab and go spot with a limited menu offering burgers, sides, and sundaes. They are a bit more on the affordable side compared to other burger spots in the city. I tried their Aloette burger, which was a standard burger made unique with grilled emmental cheese. Wasn't wowed by the food, but the other items might be worth a try.

Pretty busy little shop, the service was very friendly. Normally, people were taking their order to go (hence the name) there are two tables outside that you can eat at as well. I ordered the Aloette burger combo with fries. The burger was delicious, the patty a bit small, makes for the perfect girl dinner. The crinkle fries are so good, I normally stray really far away from crinkle fries since they taste too potatoey. BUT, these are perfectly crispy a 10/10.

Aloette Go's newest location near Yonge and Eglinton has finally opened! Today (Aug 24th), they hosted a "Community Day" where all customers enjoyed a free meal (1 main and 1 side) on them for either lunch or dinner. Ever since the Alo food group created Aloette Go, I've been waiting for a location closer to where I am located. This location, just like their Liberty Village location, serves up burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, side (fries) and dessert. The restaurant is takeout only. I stopped by Aloette Go on their opening day, about 10 min before opening time. To my surprise, there was a line of about 15 people ahead of me where the restaurant had already opened their doors. I waited 10 min in line to order my food and another 10 min for my food to be ready. The staff were friendly where service was efficient, speedy, and calm. You could tell that they were slammed with orders but the staff all kept their composure. I opted for the Aloette Go burger (emmental cheese, pickled onion, lettuce) which was cooked medium, and a mini wedge salad as my side. Could have gotten that truffle burger as well but I figured it might be too heavy for lunch. I ate nearby and the burger was the perfect portion for lunch. I forgot to get a fork to eat my salad but have had the Aloette wedge salad before which is delightful. As I passed by Aloette Go again after finishing my food nearby, the line was steady and staff were still hard at work pushing through all the orders. Thank you to Aloette Go for hosting this event today! Definitely will be back for more!!

Half the items we ordered were too salty beyond edible and the restaurant ignored my complaint. So we lost 40 Bucks on this stupid place

Their menu is pretty extensive; many options and you can actually create your own salad by checking off a checklist paper at the cash. Their dressings are all super tasty. Their menu staff are super friendly and welcoming. The service is pretty quick, but lunch hour can be a bit hectic as one expects. Super cute atmosphere and front patio seating available on Ossington for people watching as you enjoy your salad. I come here regularly because it's just so tasty, and a healthier option. For take out, I ordered the Pacific Crunch which has rice noodles, cilantro, mint, shredded carrots, purple cabbage, green onions, edamame, red peppers, mango, cashews, and coconut curry shrimp. The service was quick, as it took about 10 minutes to prepare the bowl. I enjoyed the Pacific Crunch; it was very tasty and the ingredients complimented each other well. However, I am giving Mandy's 3 stars as I was very disappointed with the portion size, especially considering the price. My bowl was only 2/3 full, when compared to the bowl purchased by my friend. For the price, I would expect the bowl to be completely full, with more than 4 shrimp.

I've actually had Brasa previously many years ago for a Yelp event but this time I decided to stop by the Queen St. location to grab dinner. Their menu boasts unique flavours where ingredients are fresh and nutritious. I decided to order a bowl from their phone app where my order was made in about 15 min. Upon arriving at Brasa, the space is accessible where the cashier/food counter area is to your right. On the left there is bar seating where you could enjoy your items there. I mentioned to staff that I was there to pick up my food where it was already made. In terms of food, I ordered the tuna ceviche bowl (Organic tricolour Peruvian quinoa, marinated tuna, avocado and sweet potato blossoms, two types of Peruvian corn, finely sliced red onion) which cost around $17. I had the bowl for dinner and it felt super healthy with the quinoa, avocado, and tuna! The ingredients tasted great together and the crunchy corn added a crunchy textural element to the bowl. Overall, a healthy alternative in the Queen/University area!

I was downtown and stumbled upon this grab-and-go spot, and it was exactly what I needed. I ordered two burrito bowls and a soup, and the total was around $50. They had so many variations of these bowls and lots of vegan and vegetarian options to choose from. The service via Uber Eats was quick and had no issues with that. When it came to the food, I was certainly underwhelming. I was not a fan of the Smoky Chipotle bowl and had thought I would love it based on the ingredients in the bowl. I found it lacked flavour and was just completely bland. The sauces had a weird aftertaste and I just did not enjoy the bowl overall. I hope the rest of their bowls are good and I just got a one off not pleasant one. I don't think I would be ordering again from this place. 5/10 recommend!
