We had been shopping for months for new kitchen cabinets. Pacific Craftworks had solid cabinets,…read moreand that's what we had been looking for for a long time. We got the upgrades (crown molding, soft and self-close hinges, glass door, magic corner). I worked with Mena, she is intelligent on the design and she gave us much helpful advice. She told us how to save money in the kitchen by the design and finally, we had a great deal from her, much cheaper than Home Depot. We had just bought new major appliances (dishwasher, refrigerator, range) and a granite-composite sink.... Pacific Craftwork's crew installed everything PERFECTLY!!! They even mounted our new microwave/range hood, straight out of the box. I couldn't be happier with how the project went!

False urgency and a hidden broker relationship led to a 14-week delay so far, and I'm still…read morewaiting. In late March 2026, I paid a 75% deposit of nearly $10,000 for 6 custom Acacia doors through Pacific Craftworks after their broker told me March 26 was the last day to secure a spot on a shared container arriving the week of May 27. Only after signing the contract did I learn that the broker does not actually work for Pacific Craftworks -- the agreement was with his separate company (Studio Pacific). In text messages on March 26 and April 8, the broker confirmed the doors were estimated to arrive at the end of May and stated that my order had been "processed and scheduled for production." Immediately after those messages, communication collapsed. He stopped providing meaningful updates and began sending long, vague responses that contained no useful information about production or shipping status. After 14 weeks, I still have not received confirmation of when the order was actually submitted to the manufacturer in Vietnam, nor any reliable ship date. I followed up multiple times directly with Pacific Craftworks, including sending a formal demand letter. Despite being made fully aware of the situation, Pacific Craftworks has taken no meaningful action to resolve the issue or hold their broker accountable. I was told they could not assist. This experience has caused significant delays to my condo renovation. Even while in Vietnam, only about an hour from the factory, I was not permitted to visit to check on the order. I am still hoping to receive the doors, but after 14 weeks with no confirmed timeline and Pacific Craftworks refusing to take responsibility for their broker's conduct, I felt it was important to share my experience publicly.

Just finished remodeling my kitchen. I am more than happy with the final results. When I first met…read moreTroy, I knew he was the contractor for me. He was very personable and his experience speaks volumes. Troy is easy to work with and tries to get the kitchen you want. He always kept me in the loop regarding time frame or supply issues. When my original electrician couldn't take on the job a few days before demolition, Troy found an electrician that I am more than pleased with. His assistant, Kurt was very professional in his work. He also gave me a few hints that worked out for the best. He's able to look at the whole picture and visualize the best outcome. The renovation of my kitchen was an idea I had for many years. I dreaded going through the inconvenience of packing up my kitchen to not having a kitchen. KB Remodeling made it effortless. It really wasn't so bad. They completed the job in less time than expected. I'm so glad I used KB Remodeling!

Needless to say, we have our trust in owner Troy Tanaka. He and his assistant, Kurt Nishi are super nice and friendly. They are very skilled in what they do and take pride in their workmanship. Troy communicated well with everything that would be happening. Troy's office manager Nani, is right on top of things and sends us emails promptly. Although we haven't met her personally, we know she is a nice person and does her job well.

Mana and his team has walked us through every step of the way from his mobile showroom to the wonderfully clear product. Mana also told me to try and find pricing on his competitors...not even close and not to even sacrifice quality. Unfortunately, we had some busted screens during the process of the home construction, but Kawika (service bruddah) came out checked um, and when he was here I kept asking, what about this one and this one and this one too. He just took them all out, got them repaired and reinstalled them no questions asked. Super Aloha. And this is months after we've been living in the house. Would I recommend....absolutely! Maybe Mana can also throw in a round of golf at OCC as well if you purchase now. Update update, nearly a year later Kawika was very thorough and wanted to ensure our sliding doors were working. He was very tedious and ensured they were installed to the best of his ability. He also noticed walking by some windows that there were some weep holes missing and he offered to fix that too! Kawika accepts tips as snacks are welcome hahaha!

We are now having to resort to legal action. We prepaid the $17K last Sept. 2025 for 3 sliding glass doors and a window. On Sept. 5, Mana told us installation would happen in November. November came and went. Since then we have repeatedly emailed, called and texted both Mana and Paul. We got some response initially, and a promise for delivery in Spring 2026. Spring came and went. We have since been completely ghosted as we have tried to contact them, sometimes daily, asking for an installation date or for a refund. In late July, we sent a letter from a lawyer saying that if we did not receive the materials we have paid for, or a refund within 3 weeks, we would pursue legal action. Unfortunately, this is now what we are forced to do. This company installed windows for us a few years ago and our experience was good. I provided a 5-star rating in 2023. We maintain some hope that Paul and Mana will do the minimally correct thing and deliver the materials we have paid for, or refund our money.
