The food is consistently delicious, the portions are just enough, the service is great and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. It's a great spot to enjoy a satisfying meal during the week. These are my go to items i choose of the menu if you want to come and try. Decided to head down to Aloha Krab in the Franhill plaza for happy hour. The prices overall were relatively affordable. Love the fact that they have happy everyday. For food we had the calamari (3/5), Vegetable Spring Rolls (5/5) and lemon pepper wings (4/5). My main complaint with the calamari was it was a bit chewy. For drinks we opt for a Mango Martini (3/5), Stella on draft and A Sapporo. The mango martini was very sweet and too syrupy for my liking. The service was friendly but I felt like I was looking around a bit to find someone to refill my beer. This location is pretty spacious with a dinning area and bar seating. Being in the Franhill plaza means there's always parking. Total bill with tip came out to about $48. read more

Hmmmmm, where to begin. So I stumbled upon this AYCE restaurant last week. I decided to visit today for their AYCE lunch special $24.95. Their is a wide selection of foods to choose from. They also have happy hour, at the same time as the AYCE lunch special. It's $8 per drink for happy hour, which I find a decent deal. The drinks were good, and not watered down. The customer service is 10/10, the waiter and waitress made sure my party and I were good throughout the dine in. Soft drinks are not included in the AYCE price, and they do not sell sangria. Now the food . Some foods did taste fresh ,while other tasted heated up (thus the 3 stars). My seafood boil was tasty , while my steak and grilled shrimp wasn't so tasty. The restaurant is a good size and there is space for everyone. Parties of 2 or 3 there will be 15% gratuity charge, and parties of 4 plus there is a 18% gratuity charge. I left full. Came to celebrate my Bestfriend Birthday. Seafood buffet sign us up. Lol The food in all honesty 10/10. Our server Jason was extremely attentive and on point. He took his time explaining to my party how the buffet style works. We didn't make it too Round 2 Round 1 had us all extremely full and satisfied. I wasn't a fan of ANY of the alcoholic drink. I had a great time here. I came here for happy hour with my friend, and we sat at the bar and had a time! Their happy hour menu is pretty good too! I really enjoyed myself. I ordered a margarita and some coconut shrimp. The coconut shrimp were good. The sauce kinda reminds me of the sauce from red lobster. Absolutely delicious! The margarita was good too! They make some really really good drinks. The vibes were there. The music was good. The bartender was making great and strong drinks. It was a really good time and i enjoyed myself thoroughly. Aloha Krab offers a hefty portion of quality seafood. I ordered flounder and it came with mixed vegetables ( carrots & broccoli) and soup or salad which can be replaced for white rice. I am a bit disappointed appointed as I desired brown rice. I had small which was pretty good. I was greeted immediately and was seated. I had a couple questions that was answered without hesitation. The staff is prompt and kind. The atmosphere was dim which could be great for a romantic setting but I was a lone so I found it peaceful. When you walk in you will find that it's a casual setting and you would need to come casual so you can enjoy the food and not worry about messing up your Sundays Best. I could not eat all of my food as I received a big fish that was cut into 4 pieces. Broiled flounder with teriyaki sauce, it was really delicious and hot. I would love to come again with a partner so I can let them help me eat my food. LOL read more

We didn't do the All-You- Can-Eat (two-hour limit) because my other half didn't want to eat that much and the whole table must do it in order to participate. Oh well. Started with the wings. Good stuff. I had the grilled shrimp entree, and my better half had the grilled salmon. They come with a choice of salad or soup, so we both got the Gumbo Soup. Gumbo Soup came in a small bowl and was tasty. Had a small amount of shrimp and sausage in it. My shrimp entree was ok. My better half was disappointed in her grilled salmon. Instead of a nice cut of salmon, it was three thin slices. She told the waitress that it doesn't look like what was pictured on the menu. The reply: "A picture is just a picture." Wow. This spot is not bad for an all you can eat seafood restaurant. The music selection is great and it's not too noisy. The service is good and the food was made in a timely manner. The drinks are okay and not part of the all you can eat price but that's okay it's still inexpensive. Typically foods at an all you can eat location aren't amazing but it was decent and enjoyable. Ownership changed at the end of the year. Happy hour is now 7 days a week from12-8 pm. I believe the price increased from $3 to 4$ on bottle and tap beer and $7-8$ or mixed drinks from the rack. Menu has changed slightly to include some more Asian style appetizers like Fried Gyoza and Korean style beef ribs. The DJ is still advertised for Friday afternoons. read more

It's was nice to finally try this place. We went during the week so it was pretty quiet in there. Driving in to the parking lot was a bit crowded since it's apart of a strip mall, but found decent parking. We made it in time to put in our order for happy hour (food and drinks). 12-3:30 Crab legs was the main reason for us to come for all you can eat but you have to pay $5 per rack they give you. I wouldn't recommend the garlic bread. The wings were nicely flavored, they give you 3 for the ayce special. The clams were very tasty that we ordered more, alil too much (they were going to charge us for having 5 lil pieces left over). The fried rice is a nice addition. Be sure to order only what you can eat. They threaten to charge for ANYTHING left over. Even a wing or a few clams. You also have the option to pay and take it home if they do. My lychee marg was great! Not sure I'd go back since it is in queens but if I Idid visit again, I'd order one less rice, no garlic bread, or shumai, nor the teriyaki dishes. read more

The drinks was watered all the way down, couldn't taste the alcohol. For all you can eat spot, it don't worth my hard working money. Went to Aloha Krab Hillside The food was good, but they didn't put all I ordered in my boil. i went alone and the menu states tip automatically added to groups of 1-3. I guess I was a group of 1 because a $9.63 tip was added to my check. That is and will always be racist when restaurant owners do this. I do not recommend this location. Those women who gave them the gassed up review should be silenced altogether. I earn my cash and to have it pilfered in such a way. Their sauce is okay compared to my favorite seafood boil spot, Oceanic Boil. You can expect a 30-45 min wait if you come when they're busy so if you're first of a party to arrive give them your name and phone number so you don't waste time waiting around! Came here with my friends and we received quick service. I was sad they ran out of their best options of ice cream: red bean & green tea. Our group of 15, but ordered a lot of different items but I'll focus on my personal orders: - the 20pc wings (plain) with the sweet chili sauce on the side and buffalo sauce (which tasted like Tabasco). The wings were crispy and well done. - the calamari: which was good once it came out! Not so good when it was cold. - the chicken fried rice was really good - cooked well! They gave us duck sauce and soy sauce in case we wanted it. - some drinks were better than others. I ordered the lychee margarita, rum punch and strawberry mojito (which tasted like watermelon lol) The service was lacking at the beginning. They have 2 people serving the entire restaurant, 1 behind the bar and another assisting everyone else. It was not an environment were we felt that the staff was attentive. This place has a B rating from the DOH and a F rating for customer service. Looking to support local biz and went to get take out and have a drink on a Friday around 7pm. The music was DEAFENING and I say this as a lover of loud music. Like blood coming from your ears hearing loss assured deafening. The restaurant was a decent size. My Friend and I were seated right away. We initially came to do the all you can eat which is $55 on the weekend. The first server wasn't too friendly but most of the time there we had the server Christine. She was really friendly and fully explained the deal. We were told whatever we didn't eat it was $15 per lb left over added to the bill. We decided not to do the all you can eat and just order individual meals fearful that we wouldn't finish most of the food. My friend ordered the lechee martini and I initially ordered a virgin pina colada but it was watered down and tasted too icee. I decided to send it back and just had a water. For appetizers we ordered sweet chilli wings and the short ribs. Both were REALLY good. For the entrees we both ordered Combo C Which included crab legs, mussels, shrimp and a lobster tail. She got the aloha sauce which included all the sauces combined (cajun garlic butter and lemon pepper). I got the Cajun but should've gotten the aloha special because the Cajun seemed salty. For $48 that was a great price for that much in a boil. It was a lot of food and I had a lot left over to take home. read more

She kisses and feeds clients with her bare hands. Very bad attitude. I won't return. Is this a restaurant or a gentleman club. The music is a little too loud for me. Maybe the bartender attitude is the reason they're not getting as much business as before and that's why they're closed on Tuesdays now.
