Zen Fusion Cuisine is absolutely terrible. A few months ago, I overheard the workers talking badly about me and my friends in Chinese, saying things like "why don't they just leave" while we were still eating. That already left a bad impression, but we decided to give it another chance recently and it was somehow even worse. The chef complained that we ordered "too much," even though it's all-you-can-eat and the restaurant was completely empty, with workers sleeping and scrolling on their phones. When we finished eating, we only had two pieces of sushi left, and the server kept pressuring us to eat them over and over even after we had already paid. One of the beef dishes had foaming bubbles on it, the food tasted old and stale, and nothing was fresh. They also refused to accept a coupon, claiming it "doesn't apply to all-you-can-eat," even though nowhere on the coupon did it say that. On top of that, they automatically charged a tip even though the server was extremely rude, as I mentioned before. The staff were unprofessional, the service was awful, and the entire experience was uncomfortable from start to finish. Zen fusion is simply amazing! Food was incredibly fresh and the price is great too! We've been coming here for dinner for the past year. We hosted our son's birthday party downstairs for 25 people. Apparently you can also request dishes off the menu ahead of time. It was super private and intimate and we were able to stay for 4+ hours and wasn't even rush out at all like other places we've been too. The owner was super accommodating and even set up the area with birthday balloons. Great vibe, great service, private party setting and amazingly fresh seafood. Love to support this AAPI spot. This places is not the places you want to go ever. I went with my daughter and just got lunch. It was quick services for 20 min. Didn't request any special services or anything. So I just paid my bill which was $30 bucks altogether and left. Tell me how this waiter flowed me to my car when I'm about to drive off and be like u didn't leave me a tip! Ordered out and everything tasted pretty good. Nothing spectacular, your typical take out sushi. My son enjoyed the sushi sandwich and ate half of it before I could take a picture of the whole thing. The rice in the sushi pieces, in the sushi deluxe, was a smaller portion than I've had before. I wish I would've read the reviews before I ordered here. The food is disgusting no flavor, bland fake chicken. The best thing about the whole plate was only the rice. The workers are rude act like they can't have a normal conversation about the food. I'm assuming with the other reviews on here they probably thought I was some type of health department person the way they was treating me when I was asking about their nasty asparagus rolls no seasoning no flavor. Like, how can you mess up a summer roll awful. But then that's what you get from ordering from a place trying to offer multiple types of Asian. You get it at 50% eh instead of 100% yum. My first impression of this restaurant was quite favorable. I liked the way it was laid out and decorated. I thought the Japanese wall paper was very cool, the bamboo stalks in the middle of the restaurant was a nice touch, and I especially liked the booths with the comfy pillows. As soon as we sat down, we asked if we could order from the lunch specials listed on the menu. We weren't sure if this was available on weekends and we were so happy when the waiter said yes. Unfortunately, the waiter came back and told us that she made a mistake and it wasn't available. Okay, fine. Everyone makes mistakes and the waiter was very apologetic. We ended up ordering the kani salad, shumai, eel avocado roll, salmon avocado roll, Thai spring roll, Zen House fried rice and chicken pad Thai. The pad Thai was good. It had a nice spicy kick to it. Both the eel avocado and salmon avocado roll tasted fresh. The kani salad was smaller than I was expecting but it tasted good. I liked the crunchy topping on it. The Thai spring roll was a bit of a disappointment. It looked like the ones you can get at your local Chinese joint, albeit not as oily and with bigger shrimps. Overall, I thought the food was solid. It didn't completely bowl me over but it was good. I thought the service could have been better. The staff were all very friendly and attentive but clearly not all of them were trained. We were given the wrong info about the lunch specials, the ingredients in the Zen House fried rice and the Yelp offer for free ice cream. If you check-in on your Yelp app, you get a free scoop of ice cream. My friend and I asked if we could both redeem this offer and get a scoop of ice cream each. The waiter said yes and had us redeem the offer on our phones in front of her. She came back a few minutes later and apologized saying she made a mistake. Okay, again it's not a big deal but I thought it was kind of petty of them not to honor it and give us both the ice cream. Making it somewhat easier for me :) For appetizers I love ordering their Rock Shrimp Tempura ($7.75) Deep fried rock shrimp with spicy mayo sauce ( It just melts in your mouth - yummm ). For Drinks I only order one item which I think they are really good and consistent at making it ... Thai Iced Tea (only $2.50) a Homemade brewed Thai tea with milk ( For me it takes me back to Thailand ) and for Entree we usually like ordering under Sushi Menu the following: Out of Control Roll ($12.95) which contains Mango, avocado and shrimp tempura inside. Roll with soy paper. Topped with spicy kani. Served with spicy mayo sauce ( Just Delicious and mouthwatering ). Under Zen Fusion Entree - We like ordering : Mango Entree ($13.25) which is Sauteed with fresh sliced mango in chef special Thai sweet sauce. Served with Japanese white rice and miso soup. We usually opt out of Miso Soup and ask for more mango or shrimps. and last but not least we love Salmon Teriyaki ($16.95) which is Served with miso soup or salad and rice ( we like it with salad & rice ). We used to love coming here, and we recommended it to everyone. Particularly for the sushi. This restaurant serves a mix of Sushi, and cooked Thai and Japanese dishes. However, after the meal we had last night I'll never recommend it to anyone, nor will we go back. Here's why. There was something off about the Spicy Tuna with crunch. And when we pointed it out to our server, we were reassured that the fish was fresh and everything was made today, because they are so busy. I don't think it was the fish. Frankly it tasted like rancid oil. I dismissed this, but the person I was dining with was so off put that he was disgusted. Unfortunately for us we ordered both the Tuna Tartar, and the Sushi Sandwich. Both of which contain a large amount of the spicy tuna and crunch. I suspect that the oil used to create the crunch is rancid. They swore everything was fresh and gave us a 10% discount on the 2 dishes that we didn't like. However, it put a huge damper on the evening, and to add insult too injury, I suffered from the food repeating on me, and stomach issues last night as a result. What I found even more interesting was that just as we were about to leave someone stuck their head out of the kitchen to talk to the Sushi Chef. I kept saying to my self that he kinda looked familiar and couldn't place his face immediately, and then this morning I think he resembled David Chang. But I am sure that David Chang would never condone the usage of rancid oil in any of his restaurants. Caveat Emptor read more

Zen Fusion is a good AYCE place with "Outstanding service". Don't let the area fool you the inside of the restaurant is very nice. The lighting a little dim for our taste but overall nice. They have delicious hibachi and good sushi / sashimi / maki and rolls. If you like char on your food the galbi is the way to go it is tender with a great amount of char. The chicken and steak teriyaki were very tasty. The Tempura udon was a hit. The staff is exemplary. Our server was very attentive and on top of everything. Been coming here for years. We usually go to lunch or dinner here while doing the laundry across the street. They have a lunch special but I can't recall how much it costs. The service was so-so. Not the greatest. She tried her hardest, but her English wasn't the greatest. She never came to refill my water or tea. We had to ask her for the tea. If you check in, you get a free ice cream. I asked if I could use this because of the mixed reviews. She said yea okay but took forever to come back. She then asked what flavor I wanted and I had said red bean. She said okay and comes back with green tea. If I had paid for this I would have sent it back but since it was free, I didn't want to make a big deal out of it. Pineapple rice was excellent, sushi was fresh, restaurant is nicely decorated and clean. I was a little worried about how our food would come out. The server wrote nothing down, even though we had special requests. Everything came out correctly and we enjoyed our experience. The restaurant has two floors. The bottom floor is for parties. Parking may be a bit complex since there isn't a lot. We went around 4pm, and parked easily. The restaurant was also very slow. We were the only couple, when we left there were two other couples. A friend and I wound up there after finding out that the place we wanted to go was closed. The woman at the font counter of Zen told us that they could not serve us because we are blind. Very nice venue. This is an ideal spot to bring a girl to potentially smash. No lie, I was feeling the appetizers and entrees. I ordered the kani-salad (delicious but extremely small portion), fried Calamari (very tasty but the kitchen put sauce on top of them instead on the side, i didn't like that), and the chicken gyoza, which is my personal favorite. For the entree I ordered the shrimp black noodles and I added chicken. This was fantastic! I recommend this place to all my stoners, players and homies. Good eats guys!!! read more
