The perfect açaí bowl from a food truck! You can't miss the teal blue truck right in front of the shell gas station. We all had different bowls and we all enjoyed them.

Located in the corner sharing the parking lot with shell gas station. Service was great and quick. Server was polite and informative on any questions about the menu. I ordered a regular with OG açaí base (vegan made from scratch), OG toppings (granola & bananas) , added Nutella. This açaí was amazing especially the base made from scratch. Go support local businesses/vendors !

Bambucha OG Acai bowl with Da Crew toppings! Ono!

I was not asked to write this review. This is my independent review of the new food truck in my neighborhood. I initially forgot to take a photo of the bumbucha OG acai bowl with Da Aloha Krew Special toppings. I had to edit to include it this time around. Haven't had a good acai bowl in a while prior to my first visit. This Acai bowl definitely hit the spot! Very rich and fruity. Also, they are very responsive on IG messages with friendly replies and solid recommendations. If you're in Aiea, I highly recommend and continue to go back frequently!

OG acai with Aloha Krew topping set and raw honey drizzle

I was never really an acai bowl person until I tried the OG acai at Aloha Krew. It is blended to a perfect consistency and isn't too sweet. I got mine with the Aloha Krew topping set. We also tried the Blue Majik which was really refreshing. My kids loved the strawberry and mango smoothies and my boyfriend got his strawberry banana smoothie too. Great service by a local family-owned and operated business

My new favorite acai bowl!

This is my new favorite acai bowl!!! As good or better than Banzai Bowls, and WAY closer to town!!! Friendly staff, and fair prices. Try the OG Acai - straight from Brazil! Glad I found this place!!!

Açaí Bowl with All Fresh Fruits, Honey and Oats

Every time on vacation we spend our mornings getting açai bowls. This morning we had to head north a little earlier than some of our usual places were open. So google lead us here.... which was absolutely amazing and hands down the best bowls we ever had !!! Better yet, owned/operated by 19 year old local.. so makes it that much better

OG Acai Bowl with "Kayaya" topping & bee pollen

They've just opened & I've already been there 3 times! Call me a regular! Yummy real fruit smoothies! My favorites are the mango & the honeydew; now I don't normally go out & order anything honeydew but this one's really good! The acai bowls are the bomb! They make their OG acai fresh EVERY DAY & you can really taste the freshness! I love it all. To top it all off, customer service is amazing, Kaya is so great! Will definitely be back for more!

Blue majik
Shalae L.

this is my 2nd time ordering from here. prior to this, i got the OG Açaí and it was made fresh and tasted not like the artificial açaí you get at any other restaurant/food truck. today i ordered the blue majik and it tastes wonderful ! just like a pinacolada ! the service was great, she is kind and friendly and extremely welcoming and i love how you can see her make it fresh just for her customers. her food truck is located in aiea at the 808 Gas & Go in the corner lot. the ambiance is a very busy yet small setting. it's a definite must "try & buy". definitely coming here again and again !!

Let me start by saying I visited this place two years ago and made it my mission to come back. Since my group of nine decided to book a trip to Hawaii, this was the first thing I added to the itinerary. And again, it did not disappoint. The service is top tier. The busser saw our large group come in and asked if we wanted to sit at a table we were eyeing, then cleaned it off for us and added extra seating so all of us could fit. The cashier was also very nice, and once your order is ready, the workers explain the toppings bar so you can dress your açaí bowl however you want (coconut flakes, granola, honey, chia seeds, etc.). I got the regular açaí bowl, and again, it is the best açaí bowl I have ever had. The açaí is thick and very rich, and you can tell the blend is real açaí and the berries on top are fresh. The topping bar is a great touch because you can customize it to your liking. It is sweet but not overly sweet or artificial tasting. It also takes a long time to melt, so you can take your time eating it. We also got a couple waffles on the side, and those were good too.

We ordered Hawaiian (DELUXE + PAʻIʻAI) which included Granola, banana, strawberry, blueberry, beepollen, honey + Pa'i'ai (taro): absolutely amazing and refreshing after all day outside in sunny. Love how they include pa'i'ai in the bowl as it's very hearty. KŪLOLO (paʻiʻai, banana, coconut milk, agave): absolutely the smoothie for me and I love how they incorporated taro in the smoothie to make it thick and dense with nutrient rich fruits.

I tried several bowls including the Da Cove, Mana, Lava, Hapa, and Hawaiian. The fruit in every bowl tasted incredibly fresh and everything was really enjoyable. My fav was definitely the Hawaiian because it includes paʻiʻai, which I later learned is hand-pounded steamed taro. It had a slightly chewy, paste like texture that was really good and added something special to the bowl. I would easily recommend this spot to anyone visiting. I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in Hawaii. We didn't get a chance to try any of their other food or drinks though, so that's something I'd want to check out next time. There are quite a lot of seats inside, which makes it fairly easy to find a place to sit. They do have parking right in front of the shop, but the spaces are a little tight. The bathroom was a bit questionable though it was very dimly lit and seemed to double as a storage area.

Nalu Health Bar & Café is such a solid spot, especially if you're looking for something fresh,…read morequick, and actually satisfying. Parking is super easy with the complimentary structure, and the café is located on the bottom floor alongside other vendors. One thing I immediately appreciated was how well air-conditioned the entire market is--it's nice and cool, which makes sitting and eating there really comfortable. The cashier recommended the turkey pesto croissant, but suggested swapping it onto ciabatta since it's one of her favorites--and I'm so glad I trusted her. It was phenomenal. The flavors were balanced, the bread held everything together perfectly, and it felt like a step above your typical sandwich. I also had what looked like a simple salad, but the vinaigrette and candied pistachios really elevated it and made it feel more thoughtful than expected. The staff across the board were friendly and welcoming, and there's plenty of seating--whether inside the café or out in the open market area. Honestly, the value surprised me the most. I paid under $13 for everything, which is hard to beat for the quality. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.

Decent food but poor service…read more Nalu Health Bar & cafe is located in the south shore market at Ward on the ground floor. Seating is limited so it may be difficult to find seating especially during high traffic meal times. May have better luck finding seating outside. I've been here multiple times for lunch and had multiple different items. The acai bowl are good. I like getting the Nalu salad which is always a decent serving and tastes fresh. The sandwiches are also pretty tasty. My main issue is the service. I'm not sure if part of their training is to ignore the customer as much as possible because that has been my experience on multiple occasions. The most recent visit, I had ordered online and was going to pick up m food for takeout. There were three workers at the front just talking. I walked to the counter and was ignored. I could see where the orders are placed and didn't see anything there so figured my order wasn't ready yet. I stood on the side for at least 5 minutes without any greeting or acknowledgement. Not a single person made eye contact with me. When I saw an order placed on the back counter one of them grabbed it and placed it on the takeout counter without calling out the name and went back to chatting. I had to actively try to get their attention at which point I was looked at like I was bothering them. Asked if my order was ready and was handed it without any further interaction. I don't expect happy go lucky people and conversation but at least basic customer service.

I always found them to be either too sour with unripe fruit, overly sweet due to the toppings, or just too much of the same thing. Since I was staying in the area, I thought it would be good to give them another try. I LOVE dragon fruit, so the pink bowl was an obvious choice. I got it with added chia seeds and no coconut flakes. Nothing in this bowl was sour, the honey and granola didn't make it overly sweet, and the pitaya base didn't feel icy at all. Everything about it was balanced and so refreshing. My partner got the Ala Moana bowl because of the papaya that caught his eye. Although I didn't particularly like it, my partner said it was one of his favorite eats of our trip. We'll be thinking about Aloh until we can go back! Service: (5/5) There's not much actual service since you order on a kiosk, but the team here are pretty quick with making orders which is always a plus.
