Second time, the staff said it would take 25 mins to make my smoothie because she had a bunch of orders ahead of me. I said I'd wait since I already paid for parking, which happened the last time as well. The owners need to hire at least 2 staff for all days of the week! Olivia is the sweetest!! She was super friendly and made our order so quickly even though she was working alone. We ordered three smoothies and one acai bowl. Everything was super yummy and made from the freshest high quality fruits. It was the perfect refresher after a full day at Kailua Beach. There are a couple indoor tables to relax at. This is one of the best acai bowls I've ever had ! I absolutely loved the flavor of the bowl. Every bite was packed with either fruit, peanut butter or acai or a combo of everything. It was just perfect. Loved the flavor of the granola too. Service was pretty good - they did forget the pretzel I ordered but after a quick reminder, the staff profusely apologized and brought it out to me. The pretzel was on the healthier end - tasted like it may be made with wheat. It is was still good but not a typical pretzel I'm used to. I also didn't taste much of the jalapeno or cheese flavors but I still have the place 5 stars because the main star of the show was the acai! My husband got the deluxe acai and he loved his too ! I've already tried their regular acai bowl, pb banana smoothie, lilikoi cream smoothie, guava strawberry smoothie, and the berry nuts smoothie. My favorite here is the lilikoi cream and my boyfriend's is the peanut butter banana (he claims it's better than Lanikai Juice and "the best smoothie he's ever had" haha). I don't think you can go wrong with any of their flavors. The smoothie consistency is always thick, not watery and the perfect sweetness. Great generous and good value acai bowls. Made to order these take a minute or 2 to prepare and are full of acai and topped with fresh fruits. This is one of my fave acai bowl places to stop by in Kailua. One note noticed one time was that it tasted very banana flavored so perhaps so mixed more banana into the acai sorbet but overall it has a good texture, nice size, great toppings and you are supporting a local woman owned business. My sister and I came for a visit one morning since we live nearby but realized we haven't tried this place before. She got a Hibiscus Lemonade Smoothie, and I got a Matcha Green Tea Smoothie. We each also had a sip of the other's drink too. My matcha smoothie had only a very light matcha flavor and tasted more like vanilla throughout. If you prefer matcha to not taste as strong (like how my sister prefers), this would be a good choice. We both agreed that the hibiscus lemonade was stunning though! It had a perfect flavor balance with a strong lemonade taste throughout mixed with strawberries. We watched the employee make the drink with fresh strawberries too! Next time, I think I'd order the hibiscus lemonade too just because it was so good! The place itself currently does not offer indoor seating (likely as a covid precaution).
