I've been to many salons and Aloha nails is one of the best. The staff is very friendly, professional, experienced and very accommodating. They do a beautiful job and the prices are so reasonable. I make an appointment every couple of weeks and I never have to wait when I get there. The parking is so convenient and free, which is rare in Miami Beach. As for Covid, you need not worry. They have gone to great lengths to ensure the safety and sanitation of the salon and I feel completely comfortable going there in this environment. I highly recommend. read more

I found Aloha when i was nearby enjoying the sunset at the beach, trying to wait out the horrible 6pm traffic back south. This nail salon is in the shopping strip where subway and dominos is. Its small, but the reviews drew me in. They have a nice selection of polishes but some tampered with obviously. The manicure however was really well done. All my cuticles where removed and the paint job was flawless. Will definitely return! read more

Worst experience ever. Several technicians (male(s)) were available but because I was male I had to wait 44 minutes for a female. In this day and age male grooming is becoming second nature too male hygiene........ In addition I would question the sanitation of this establishment, especially the proper cleaning of the instruments. The skill sets of the young lady that did my nails was horrible......... This has to be the worst nail salon I've ever visited in my time living in Florida. My first trip here I stopped in to get a fresh gel manicure. My nails grow very long naturally on their own and the technician didn't seem to understand that as she kept asking me if I wanted a fill in. I had to explain to her several times that these were my real nails. After waiting for a moment, one of the technicians began her work. She asked what shape I wanted, I initially asked for coffin shaped and she looked confused, not knowing what that was (which is a pretty trendy shape these days) I followed by asking for almond shaped which equally confused her. We came to an agreement about how my nails would be shaped. She began filing my nails down to almost nothing. She made them so narrow & so thin and left me with almost no nails. None of the shapes matched each other which I had to point out on many occasions & she also accidentally cut me on many different fingers. She did all my nails except one which needed to be repaired by someone else. Within 3 days I noticed one of my nails breaking horizontally. I went right back to the salon and spoke to the technician who did the first job. She didn't even recognize me and very rudely responded "I can't do that right now. have appointments". So I waited and another lady eventually ended up "fixing" the nail. When I got up to leave she told me I owed her $7. I asked why would I be charged when it hasn't even been a week with my manicure and she explained to me that its not their fault and that eventually all my nails would break off. WHY WOULD MY NAILS BREAK OFF IF IM GOING TO SKILLED TECHNICIAN???? AND WHY WOULD THEY BREAK OFF AFTER NOT EVEN A WEEK??? I was livid and paid, for the same nail to then completely break off 2 days later. A truly awful establishment. Not updated, not clean, and the staff is unskilled and rude. I will never come back here and you should never come here!! read more

I am visiting Miami Beach and needed a simple manicure. First of all place didn't look too clean and the manicurist didn't use sterilized instruments. Filing was ok. I was then asked to wash my hands. No hand lotion. No hand massage. I have never had a manicure without having lotion applied to my hands. I had my own base coat and top coat. I was left at desk to dry my nails. Manicurist didn't know a word of English. All this for $15. Rather overpriced. Unimpressed and won't be back. read more

Unprofessional, rude and careless. I asked to remove acetone from my fingertips after 5 minutes as I suffer from eczema on my hands and try to avoid exposure to irritants as much as I can (which I explained to the technician) but I was totally ignored; the technician told me to sit for 10 minutes. So I took off the foils myself--the gel polish was all bubbled up and was falling off my nails itself. There is absolutely no need to leave acetone in my skin for longer than actually needed. read more

Such a disappointment! I have been going here for years, but my last two visits have been terrible. It appears to have new management and the new manager does not have any control over the staff. They speak loudly across the room, they talk on their cellphones (FaceTime!!) while doing nails, they eat food when they are with a client and they are not very nice. The price is still quite good which is why I went back after my bad experience, but after this last visit I just can't justify even the good rate. It is not at all relaxing to be receiving a pedicure with loud laughing, talking and crazy singing by one of the technicians. I love the convenient neighborhood location, but there are other options not far away that I think will have to try from now on. I hope that they will get things under control with their staff. WORST SOLAR/ACRYLIC NAILS IN A DECADE! I used to go to Kevin at this salon for solar acrylic nails and he did a great job. He left and I have tried 2 people - not that pleased with the first experience- but today with Claudia was by far the worst acrylic nail treatment I have had in at least a decade. I booked and appt for fills and she asked me if I wanted a full set and I said that no, I just needed fills and a polish change on my toes. She started doing the process in a very strange order and when I asked a polite question, which I did a few times because it was strange (I have had acrylic nails for 15 yrs),she got a bit ruder every time, several times just putting her hand in my face. Could have gotten over it if she hadn't done such a horrific job. I started with the bright color of pink on my nails and a white arc at the end. What I ended up with was very thick nails that are a murky pink and white ends- several of which don't even form an arc - see the pictures. Two hours after she began my nails (the polish change took 15 minutes) she actually had the nerve to charge me $50 - which is the price for a full set! I told her that I specifically asked for fills and she said that she had done everything for a full set -unfortunately it was on top of the old acrylic. You can see on the pictures of the 2 nails that the white isn't even rounded so it looks so fake. Unfortunately for me, I leave for my reunion tomorrow and don't have time to get them soaked off and to start over before then. I am sure that other services at the salon are fine but I would never go there for solar/acrylic nails. Yelp isn't allowing to add pictures so I will try later. read more

I left a little confused because this IS a nail salon and how does no one know how to do a fill in? even though both, owner and employee, were constantly complaining about how having to work at that time, both were nice and polite. the girl that did my shellac manicure was getting anxious to leave at one point, constantly on the phone and rushing my nails. she had to redo both of my thumbs because the color did not spread even and did - not in the nicest manner, but she did. going out of the spa, i was quite happy with my nails but now, not even a week in, i can already see that she did a very bad job. air bubbles and it looks disgusting now that it is growing out. definitely a great place to go to if you're not high maintainance but other than that i would not recommend them at all. read more

Aloha Nail Spa lacks great customer service for all Clients. This is my first time visiting this Nail salon. I was in the area and my feet were in need of being pampered. The owner or whoever the guy is talked rudely to the nail tech while the nail tech was administering my pedicure. It seems that some other woman in there needed a manicure and she needed to leave soon, but instead of the owner allowing the nail tech to finish up my pedicure he was throwing jabs at the guy the whole time causing an uncomfortable experience. Also, it would not have been totally rude if someone else had come over to me right away to finish up my pedicure. But no, there I sat unattended wondering who was going to finish up my pedicure while my nail tech went over to start on the woman's manicure. There were 4 other nail techs in the salon who were all occupied as well, but my point is why not just finish up my pedicure so that way you can focus on your next client. I will never visit this nail shop again. There are too many other salons to waste your money at a business where your time and your dollar bill is not considered valuable. read more
