From the moment I walked through the door, the staff was rude and unwelcoming. If walk-ins are advertised, customers shouldn't be made to feel like an inconvenience for using that option. Thought I found a new person to do my nails and pedicure, one close to home. Yesterday got my nails done and loved them, had one tip put on, cost me just over $50.00 , so I made an appointment to go back today for a Pedicure, I picked the $59.00 Pedicure, asked for the fresh lemon scrub, lemon is a great antiseptic and smells and feels so good. That did not happen was charged $75.00, all I wanted was regular polish with a fresh lemon pedicure. I'm thinking that the $20.00 added to my bill for gel polish, that I did not ask for. What I paid for should had been an excellent pedicure and it was not. A very light leg massage, was to include hot rocks, only 1 leg got 1 hot rock, the back of my legs still had oil dripping from them, had to wipe it off when I got into the car. Checking out my face must have been in shock, this pedicure was way too expensive for me, and I was so hopeful. I should have known yesterday when I got gel nails, only two nails got gel put on them, but it worked and I was happy. I believe there was a big communication issue. The salon is very clean and both employees there (I believe it's a husband and wife team) are very sweet. My pedicure was amazing! The lady took her time to get rid of my cuticles and give me a nice foot massage. My heels are also softer than they have ever felt. I've had many pedicures, but I am truly impressed by this salon. The facility is so clean, and the measures taken against covid are great. There are plexiglass barriers between the pedicure seats, and also a portable barrier between you and the technician. This is also the case for the manicure tables. I live about 40 minutes away, and am here with a friend for the weekend, but I will happily make the trip up here again just to come here! I believe our techs were the owners. read more

Really disappointed in the price. Based on the prices on the wall, I expected the price to be between $30-40 for an acrylic fill with gel coat on top. I did have one broken nail, which does add to the price. However, I paid a total of $65 before tip for an acrylic fill with gel polish and one nail repair. The owner explained it to me, but it still cost way more than I pay at my usual places. I don't understand why it was so expensive. So, overall, the people are very nice and they do a great job, but expect to pay a solid $25 more than you would anywhere else around here. Venetian Nail Spa is a lot fancier and yet the same service would have cost me maybe $45. It wasn't worth it to me to fight about it, I just won't be coming back. :( read more

My handicapped grandmother and I wanted a simple pedicure and manicure. We were able to get right in. The employees were very friendly and gave us exactly what we wanted. I've never had a worse experience at a nail salon. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I went in with long, healthy, natural nails to get a gel manicure. The guy filed my nails so short that they weren't even worth painting, buffed them so thin that they are now brittle and flexible, and then didn't even bother to do any cuticle work at all before he told me he was ready to start painting. Literally NONE. No soak. No cuticle trim. Nothing. All of my nails were a different length and had uneven, slanted tips. When I asked him to fix them, he told me to go somewhere else and refused to finish my manicure. I'm so furious right now I could scream. I had worked so hard to grow my natural nails out and he just destroyed months of progress. My nails are now so thin that I can't even scratch my arm without them bending. I could cry right now. The owner took care of my nails. He was Very patient in removing my gel shellac. My nails refuse to let go of the polish. He soaked, chipped away carefully, soaked somewhere and repeated the process until all the Polish came off. He spent the time to make sure my new polish was perfect. Then I had the pedicure. He did my nails first so I would have use of my hands during the pedicure. He also matched the toe polish to the gel shellac. He's also great at massaging my feet and legs. read more

I had went in for a fill and pedi. It's only been 5 days and my gel polish is chipping off. I call to question to see if he (the owner) can do a qick fix of this issue. He tells me i have to pay for a fill and gel polish and he doesn't want to hear it. Initially coming in for my pedi he complained about my feet the entire time. Limited soak, ect. Leaving me feeling embarresed. While working on my feet he made 3 of my toes bleed. There was no need for hurrying, I was the only customer there. I also realized after leaving there were no sterilized tools used. I had gel polish on my skin. Didn't notice till after i left due to he panted my toes under the manicure table. Classy looking nail salon in Daytona Beach, FL! I had a pedi close to closing time and the man( I think manager/owner)did them. He is a guy so i really didn't expect much conversation compared to what a female tech might engage in, but he did converse a little and was absolutely friendly and he did a cute pedi for me..I prefer males for the leg foot massage portion of pedi anyhow, though he was more gentle with the feet than I expected, I also didn't splurge for a longer fancier pedi... the normal spa pedi does get you a bit of a massage mostly legs portion to help circulation which I loved. I'm happy I didn't listen to the negative reviews on here. My experience was great. Found out his wife and him have 6 kids and he used to live in Hong Kong. And btw, the massage chairs were comfortable not killing your back like some do during the kneading part of massage. I would recommend this place to all - and especially to vacationers... because 'bonus', it is in a plaza, the Bellair shopping plaza that has a publix, also a liquor store, bealls and bealls outlet, and pretty much everything I needed for the weekend plus it is a legit nail salon right in Daytona Beach, so you don't have to go back over bridge to the mainland for it. I'm truly wondering if this guy had ever done it before. I left with them full of bubbles, lines, roughness and short! I had to wait over an hour to even be seen bc only 2 people were working!!
