DO NOT GO HERE! My husband and I were staying across the street at the Hilton and I stopped in this shop for a quick gel pedicure. I thought it was strange that the lady had me move from the chair/basin to a manicure table where she did my toes under the table, but brushed it off. Because of this I couldn't get a good look at them until after I got back to the hotel. It was then that I realized I had gotten the sloppiest, worst pedicure I've ever had. And I mean a five year old could've done a better job! Since I had paid $40 for this I decided to go back and let them know I wasn't happy with the service. I politely let the owner know it was a very poor job and I'd like my money back. Instead of apologizing and refunding me (or offering to redo them), he began yelling at me and was very irate and hostile. After he ranted for a few minutes (in front of 2 other customers) I asked him why he was getting so upset when I had simply asked for a refund for poor service. He said he was upset that I asked for my money back! He continued to yell at me and the manicurist also came from the back and starting verbally berating me as well. He basically told me to get out of his shop. I did report this to my bank and disputed the charge, not because $40 is that important to me, but because I refuse to pay someone to treat me this way. If he had apologized and given me a refund or offered to correct the problem I wouldn't have bothered. Please do not go to this salon... just keep on driving and find a better place!! read more

I went to a different salon where I got the worst manicure I've ever gotten. Then I went to Aloha to get it fixed. I was getting a Shellac manicure and the girl messed my thumb up but she took the time to go back and fix it and make sure they all looked awesome!!! Highly recommend! read more

If I could give this establishment a negative 100 I would. The owner is very rude and disrespectful. Me and my wife came from Orlando for a vacation in Daytona. Wanted to treat ourselves to a relaxing pedicure and get our eyebrows waxed. As I went to pay the owner I only had my credit card on me and no cash but when I went to pay with my Amex he tells me they don't accept Amex only visa and master card. So I say well there is no sign in your door referring to that. So I needed to walk out and go to the Walgreens which was right at the corner from the nail shop. This guy had the nerve to tell me in a rude manner I have to leave something of my possession behind in order for me to go to the Walgreens and get money out of the ATM. No kind you not me and my wife are not from here. But the level of disrespect from an owner someone that suppose to have and uphold quality customer service. I went to aloha nails about a week ago, got there about 5:30 and didn't leave until 9 when there were only 2 other customer in the store. I showed them a simple design just white nails with a simple flame on the ring finger which the nail tech then said he couldn't do. So in turn i asked for the VERY simple popular squiggle design people are getting now and even provided a picture which he said he could do, yet in turn i got nails that didnt look ANYWHERE similar to the design. My nails are already starting to fall off after less than a week!! after paying $70 for nails that didn't come anywhere near what i had asked for and they don't even last!!! My cousin had also gotten her nails there and had black spots all over her nails when she just asked for simple hot pink nails with no design, hers are also falling off after less than a week. The nail techs were very nice and personable but very poor design and poor quality. would not recommend this place or return in the future. read more

I walked in to get a gel fill and was with my two sister. There were only two workers there and the man took my sister right away. They had very limited gel colors so my sister was not able to pick a gel color and got French instead. After she was done it was my turn. I was getting a gel fill and there were other people coming in so he was rushing on my nails. They were very understaffed. They had limited gel colors which was disappointing. When he totaled up my price he told me $50. I was shocked all I got was a fill. I am not from around her and back at home in New York the average price is $35 for a gel fill. Got an amazing pedicure here! I walked in without an appointment and was in a pedicure chair within minutes. Very nice and relaxing. Great foot massage. Very impressed and glad I stopped in. I got a Spa Pedicure and it was $25 which I find very reasonable. read more

This place is terrible. I walked out while getting a pedicure because I complained that gel polish was on my nails and was told "You have little nails". It didn't look like a professional did it. I told them even my sister didn't think they looked professionally done and the man responded with "well, I don't know what bitch you're talking to about this". Came here for a pre wedding mani pedi party. None of the seven of us were happy with the service provided. I would give this place zero stars if I could. I now have to have my nails redone for my wedding. A total waste of time and money! The owner is extremely rude and screams a lot. One of the members of my group is experiencing toe pain after her pedicure. We did not have our hands soaked or massaged as part of the manicure. Pedicure massages lasted about 2 minutes. We are here on vacation and my wife needed to get her nails done to fix just one. That being said, this place was the absolute worst experience she has EVER had with any nail salon. First off, they didn't understand what she was asking for, which was simply to do her nails and paint them red. My wife picked out the color she wanted and the lady said she had a better one for her. Why not right? Well disaster soon followed. They screwed up my wife's nails something awful. Couldn't shape them properly so they are rigid and rough. Then the lady, who you would think is experienced, painted my wife's nails (even though they weren't right) and by the time she was done it looked like a 3 year old painted her nails. My wife had paint on the sides of her fingers for crying out loud. Then the lady was trying to get some of the paint off the side of my wife's pinky and was scraping it with her own nail and a scraper tool and ended up hurting my wife after cutting her. At this point my wife was done. She said forget it...I don't need you to hurt me. The place still charged us $33 to do such a horrible job and once we were gone and the paint was fully dried, it started bubbling because the paint was so old. Not to mention it turned out pink not red! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless you wanna waste your money and have a horrible, painful experience! I truthfully don't know how they are still in business but they obviously don't rely on repeat business or word of mouth. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The owner is extremely rude and does not have any customer service skills. He actually got in my face and screamed at me just cause I changed my mind. ARE YOU SERIOUS?! So HERE is what happened: I asked him how long til we get assisted and he put his finger in my face saying, "WAIT" so I was like OK. Finally after 20 minutes sitting there, a girl came to assist my friend and the owner said that he would do my nails. I asked him not to file my nails cause they are weak and he still did- i went to wash my nails and it broke. When I returned to my seat he was still assisting another customer. I started to get frustrated so I changed my mind to not get my nails done. Once he finished with the other girl, I told him that I no longer want to do my nails and he started yelling at me saying that I have to pay $5 so I was like, For what? You didn't do anything other then file and put oil on my nails. He started to threaten me that if I don't pay then he will call the police, so I was like go ahead. I asked him who's the manager and he said that he was the owner. I told him for an owner who wants to make business, that his customer service SUCKS. HE GOT IN MY FACE AND YELLED AT ME SAYING THAT I SUCK. I was so close to my face that it looked like he was about to hit me. He kicked my brother out of the store because he told him to not yell at me. Other customer were like this is so unnecessary for him to act like that and got up and left. He tried kicking me out as well and I refused to get out til my friend was done with her service, she was shaking from thinking that he was about to hit me. Aloha=Alo-no!!!! Do not waste your money going here. Terrible services! The should be 0 stars but can't do that. We went here because it was convenient to our group, having a pre-wedding pedi/mani for my sisters wedding. What a disappointment for all of us. My poor mom spent nearly $300 for all is us. Pedi was quick, I was cut on my big toe, massage was terrible about 1 minute to each leg and paint all over skin. They charged us $25 for each of my school-age daughters pedis too. They lasted about 15 minutes!! Moving to the gel-manis, my sister and I got French. The technicians, didn't even soak our fingers, dry cut our cuticles....OUCH!! Lots of bubbles under the paint, thick paint to edges, that peeled after the mani, no massage and I even had to ask for cuticle oil!!! When my sister complained the owner was rude and began shouting. He was irate scaring my kids. He was even very rude to another customer who came in to ask for services, she left... Needless to say, both my sister and I traveled to the mainland and found a different salon to get a re-do. Now we have a happy bride!! read more

This place was absolutely terrible. My mother had gotten a full and me and my sister got a full set. They were done with both of us and were still working on her. They charge 1$ for a different color for each nail and don't do your nails how you want them. They do them how they want. I will never come back here. And one of the girls cut me badly. read more
