The 3 existing succulent arrangements, who were done at Pigment needed some refreshing and she wanted to create new succulent arrangements in the two empty pots and, . . . .WE GOT TO MEET SAXON, the most wonderful and kind and helpful plant guy at Pigment. His presence, his help, his advice, his demonstration of proper technique based on the arrangement philosophy of designing a pot landscape using the "THRILLER, FILLER, SPILLER" strategy was so insightful!! Even though Pigment was very busy, he made us feel like the most important customer in the store and we will definitely come back when he is there!! THANK YOU SAXON!!!

Parking- I just did the paid parking in the structure since it was closer. It was $8 for 2 hours. The komodama class was around $70 and you get to take home 2 you've made. The instructor was patient, helpful and had good instructions. The group had many follow up questions and he explained things well. They gave us a good assortment to choose from to make the kokadama. After we finished making them, we wanted cute vases and the instructor helped us find the best fitting one for our plant. The whole store is filled with adorable plants and accessories. I walked out of there thinking I'll be able to keep my plants alive but it's a serious challenge. Overall, highly recommend taking a class from Pigment. It's a fun way to have a day date where you use your hands and enjoy their beautiful outside patio.

They have a ton of stuff that you would find in Japan (some exact items I actually saw on my Japan trip last year). Any character you can think of, you can find some merch here. Like Hello Kitty/Sanrio, Snoopy, Miffy, Monchichi, Pokemon, and so much more. The plus side is there are so many choices all in one place. The downside is the prices are very very expensive. A blind box that is normally $25 elsewhere could be $40. So be prepared to spend some money! The 2 ladies who owned the ship were very nice and super attentive.

This little variety store is filled with treasures to satisfy your Sanrio, Labubu, Sonny Angel collections, plus more and they even carry Pokémon cards. Haha Fashion keeps their stock up to date with the latest trends. I spotted Mini Labubus for $50, along with plenty of blind box goodies and clothing accessories for Labubu lovers. I got my Labubu some crocs here for $10 and it came with the cutest charms. Prices run a bit higher, but you're paying for convenience compared to ordering from the official source like PopMart, which often sells out. The staff were very nice and helpful. I'll definitely be coming back.

And yes...I had to explore all three! Both markets were bright, clean, and incredibly well organized. One of my favorite sections was the tea aisle. As someone who absolutely loves tea, I was in heaven. Their selection is huge, with everything from loose-leaf teas to powdered varieties that you don't typically find in traditional American grocery stores. I'll definitely be back to stock up on a few new favorites. I originally stopped in to purchase a matcha whisk set, but it was a little more than I wanted to spend. That didn't stop me from finding a few treasures, though! I ended up browsing the cookware section and picked up a beautifully designed set of reusable chopsticks along with beginner-friendly M-shaped training chopsticks. One unexpected highlight was getting to try a hand massage machine. It applies pressure to acupuncture points throughout your hand, and wow--it felt amazing! I'm seriously considering going back just to buy one. The produce section also looked fresh and inviting, so I can definitely see myself returning to shop for groceries. Plus, since my sons love anime, I already know they'll enjoy checking out the merchandise store with all the fun Japanese collectibles and character items. Whether you're looking for authentic Japanese groceries, unique kitchenware, specialty teas, or fun gifts, Tokyo Central & Main is absolutely worth visiting. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping by--you'll probably leave with more than you planned, just like I did! And you already know you can always thank me later
