So ono and authentic Hawaiian food! Reminded me of home! Definitely recommend! The pork was my favorite and the potato salad. Keep it up!

Speedy's Cowabunga is a mobile food truck that often caters to Missouri State University Students…read more(including myself) since it is sometimes located on the corner of Elm and Kimbrough. Speedy's specializes in Hawaiian food. All meals are $8 (not 6.99 like on their website) and are made with local, fresh ingredients. I decided to go out on a limb for Taco Tuesday and get their taco's (the cook was awesome and gave me one chicken and one pork) and I didn't regret it. The tacos had a lot of meat (no skimping on the ingredients) and tasted really fresh. Loved the cilantro too. The optional spicy sauce was also amazing. Their fries looked homemade with cayenne and marash pepper and drizzled with honey (very similar to ones I've had at a gourmet restaurant so they were fantastic). I also got a complementary honey roll that was tiny but tasty. The only complaint I had was that they couldn't get my card to scan so I had to pay in cash and the pork taco was a little greasy. A lot of food for the money. I personally think it was worth the price. Generally, a 10/10 would eat again. A gem among food trucks in the area.
