Garlic fried chicken, Mac salad and rice

Service - awesome ALOHA spirit & beyond excellent customer service Ambiance - it's just a food truck but everything was presentable, clean and quick. Food - ok we got 2 plates and 2 bowls (and yes it's just my son & myself but there are some hard choices here). Spicy Ahi bowl - 9/10 . Only missing 1 star because, of course here in Oregon, the fish used was frozen and not fresh. But the flavoring was perfect. Best ratio of fish to rice we've had so far Kalua Pork bowl - 9/10 . So close to that authentic taste back home that's why it's missing 1 star. That's the best Mac salad I've had yet. Wish there was more lomi salmon since all the ingredients are cheaper here but the taste from the small sample we got was delicious Garlic Fried Chicken plate - 8 . Everytime I get something that says "garlic" something I'm expecting that strong taste of garlic which unfortunately this chicken lacked. The flavoring of this chicken could be accurate as it's my expectation to ward vampires away after I eat garlic but overall it was okay Meat Jhun plate - 10 . The teri sauce on the meat was a perfect combination of its ingredients. The batter over it was perfect. I've always liked my meat jhun without any extra dipping sauce but my son said the dipping sauce was great. The Kim chee was nada (but that's ok) All the plates & bowls had very large portions, served hot & fresh and satisfied my craving for our food from HI. Thank you Aloha To Go . This sistah will definitely spread the word about your truck & we look forward to coming again to try something else.

I had the hurricane chicken plate. I had a musubi and poke bowl.

First time trying this restaurant I ordered the garlic shrimp which had a very authentic flavor…read more The shrimp you have to peel, but that was fine by me . Everything was very flavorful and delicious. They gave plenty of potstickers too. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to trying more of their menu items

The food here is great!! I ordered through door dash. Kind of confusing because I didn't know it…read morewas just Murphy's under a different name - so I had to call in and find that out! I got the spicy teri chicken with rice and Mac salad. It was $14.05 Portion size: 5/5 Price: 5/5 Food: 4/5 The rice was cooked perfectly. Just good old fashioned white rice. Nothing fancy. The Mac salad is in my opinion the best in Corvallis. It is fantastic. Very flavorful without being too mayo heavy. If I had to give it a critique: the noodles are slightly overcooked. I wish there was more cut up carrot or celery in it as well and a dash more salt. The chicken is amazing. Very flavorful. Well cooked. Sweet and spicy. You can taste the ginger in the sauce. If I had to give a critique; I wish there was more char on it. To be clear, there is plenty of char, but I like mine to be a little more charred than normal over an open flame. My only concern is that the deserts in the cooler by the register literally have Costco price tags on them still. That is not an issue at all!! BUT it makes me question the authenticity of the food. I would eat here again for sure. Best Hawaiian food in Corvallis, if you ask me. I imagine the people leaving negative reviews went on a bad day or are just miserable people to begin with. Every critique I am making I was just splitting hairs.

Solid hawaiin spot. Shoyu chicken was flavorful and large portion of it. I liked their Mac salad…read more It had potato's in it which was good. The rice was ok. Not the best hawaiin I have ever had but good. Their teriyaki beef looked good would want to try that if I came back. 16$ for the chicken. The people here were very friendly.

I came to this truck on Saturday at Autzen Stadium with my husband…read more I'm always a bit leery of trying Hawaiian food here. One of our good friends is Hawaiian and therefore quite opinionated on the subject. Finding authentic and delicious Hawaiian food is a legit challenge. We walked up to the truck and were immediately greeted by the cashier. He was friendly and helpful. The first thing I noticed was his accent. He sounded exactly like the Hawaiian friend I mentioned earlier. So I thought this was a good sign. Both him and the other employee who gave us our food were super friendly and kind. That vibe and energy always makes me smile. My husband ordered the garlic chicken and I ordered teriyaki beef. They only had three options on the menu, and the third being pulled pork. Both plates came with rice and macaroni salad. Everything was delicious. Portions seemed a tad small for the price, but I really didn't care. I was full, and it was delicious. I text our friend about this business, and he said it is hands down THE best Hawaiian food in town. Which I definitely agree with. It is a small family run business, and I love it. Our friend said they've scaled back to only doing events like the spring game where we found them and catering, which makes me super sad. Because I would totally go out of my way to visit them and eat there again. I'd become a regular real quick. Despite the fact they only do events and catering, if you find them at an event you're attending, give them a try! It is so worth it. You'll thank me, I promise. Review 29 of 2025.
