Came here to pick up some food before having a picnic with my baby. I knew I wanted some Hawaiian barbecue and I knew I wanted to come here and get it. The restaurant is spacious with a solid amount of seating. The staff were super friendly and nice as well as patient as we decided what we wanted to order. I went with the Hawaii barbecue mix plate, which comes with chicken, beef and short rib. The food was made fresh to order. It also came with white rice and Mac salad. I absolutely loved the food it was flavorful and yummy. My favorite on the plate was the chicken and the beef. The short rib was a little tough, but I still enjoyed. The Mac salad was my preference, It's fresh with little sweetness to it. Next time I have a Hawaiian barbecue fix, I will definitely be coming back here and I hope to include it a little bit more often in my food rotation.
Delicious everything. You can tell it is made once you order and the taste of everything was amazing, so much flavor on the shrimp and short ribs. That cabbage under the short ribs and shrimp was delicioso as well. The service is great, your order is brought to your table. The ambiance is very much island vibes and love the fact that the cooks get to listen to their music. 10/10 we will definitely be back!
We recently ordered delivery from Alohahola and had a good experience overall. Ordering takeout can sometimes be hit or miss, especially when it comes to food staying fresh during delivery, but everything arrived not the hottest but it was well packaged, and ready to eat. That always makes a big difference when you're excited about a meal and don't want it to show up soggy or cold. It could have been the delivery driver, but I had to re-heat the food when it got to me. The Hawaii sesame chicken was definitely a great dish for me. One thing I really appreciated was that the chicken was still crispy. Usually sauces can make breaded chicken a little soft by the time it gets to you, but this held up really well. The sauce had a really nice balance of sweet and savory flavors without being overly sugary or heavy. The chicken pieces were a good size and the portion overall felt generous, so it ended up being a really satisfying meal. It tasted different and sweet which was very delicious and worth it. It also came with a side of macaroni salad which was nice. We also ordered the chicken katsu with white rice, which was another solid choice. The katsu had a nice crispy breading and the chicken inside was tender and cooked well. It's a simple dish, but sometimes simple is exactly what you want. The white rice paired perfectly with the chicken and sauce, and the portion size was great. It's the kind of meal that's filling, comforting, and easy to enjoy. We added spring rolls to the order as well for the buy one get one free. They were pretty standard spring rolls, but still good. They had a nice crunch on the outside and worked well as a starter while we waited to dig into the rest of the meal. Nothing overly fancy, but definitely a nice addition to the order. Overall, everything tasted fresh, and between the crispy sesame chicken, the well-cooked katsu plate, and the solid sides, it was a really enjoyable meal. This was my first time coming to the restaurant, customer Service was very welcoming and I didn't feel rushed trying to order my food. I ordered the Hawaiian beef mix and some wings. It was a lot of food, didn't finish it all in one sitting. The chicken wings were very big (could have been cooked longer, a little red in the middle) I'm a sucker for some good ranch, the condiments were good. All in all, if you are a fan of Hawaiian bbq; a good spot to check out. You can order to go or you can sit in their establishment and enjoy your meal. Good music in the background, not too loud.

I've been to the one in Chesapeake so I thought it's the same owner. Maybe it is and maybe it's not. But the name of the restaurant is exactly the same. Some of my coworkers were ordering and her husband was going to pick it up and bring it to us. I went to the website and saw the Kalua pork and since I'm from Hawaii, I know what it's supposed to look like (and taste like). The picture looks about right. What I got was NOTHING like the pic on the website. Where's the cabbage? Why is there more onions than cabbage? Why is there some sort of sweet dark sauce (teriyaki??) in the pork? It was edible in the sense that it's not rotten, it t doesn't have bugs or hair in it--but I took 3 bites and then threw it in the trash. Not worth the calories at all. The rice was okay and the Mac salad was okay but the main part of the dish was not as advertised and tasted weird. I give it 1.5 stars.
Sizeable Portions makes this meal a good value! The chicken was tender, seasoned well and plentiful!! The rice was presented as "Fried Rice" it was not, to me it was just rice with a dash of soy sauce for color, the rice was not gummy or anything. It just wasn't what I was expecting. I asked for double cabbage expecting it to be steamed and seasoned, it was just shredded raw cabbage and it does not enhance the dish at all. With cabbage being one of my favorite foods on the planet, it's normally hard to disappoint me with cabbage in any form, but today ... let's just say it didn't awaken my taste buds or dazzle me with delight. The service was outstanding, I dined in, the drink machine may need service as my lemonade tasted like a flavored water. I may return for the Chicken only, I truly wanted to have a better opinion. But I was feeling Meh!
We got this for dinner on Thursday and my daughter was already begging to have it again the following Tuesday. We were looking for a late night spot to grab food while we waited for my son's practice to end. So glad we stopped here. My fire chicken was so good. Lots of flavor. The same was said about the Hawaiian signature BBQ mix. Kids loved their meals and I had to try the spam musubi. I was not expecting the entire things to be wrapped in seaweed but it was really good. The seaweed smell is stronger than I expected but the taste was not overpowering.
We ordered the hawaii signature and chicken & shrimp for lunch takeout. Food took about 20 minutes but did not disappoint. The portion was really big and there was lots of meat! Mac salad was super yummy. The meat was really well seasoned and tender. I would definitely come back.

My literal go to spot for takeout, I stopped by here after running errands all day. It was around 5 pm and there weren't too many other customers inside. The wait was only 10-15 mins for my food. I ordered the Hawaii chicken teriyaki plate (10/10) once again. I absolutely loved everything: the chicken, fried rice, cabbage, and Mac salad. In addition, I ordered some spam masubi (10/10). My total was about $24. I'm also really loving the new trays they're using now over what our food used to be put in before. My overall rate of experience : 10/10
First time trying loco moco and was a bit disappointed. The burger patty had no flavor or seasoning, and the gravy was so bland, but the overeasy egg added an extra layer of flavor. I was expecting this to be a tasty dish. However, their Hawaiian BBQ mix was delicious. Portions were huge, service was friendly, and the food was made to order; it was a 20-minute wait for our meal. It's a nice spot to eat. But, personally, I wouldn't order the loco moco here.

Went here for our date night and keeping the story short we will definitely be back!! The food was amazing!! The place was clean and staff was friendly. The food was enough to feed our family of 5 but it was just my husband and I so we had a lot of left overs! Will definitely bring the family back here!! read more
First time visiting and probably won't be returning due to quality of food. We ordered several different items - fried spam rice rolls, shumai, spam fried rice without pineapples, grilled rib over rice type of dish. Neither of us liked any of the dishes because it was either too fried, too bland, too sweet, or just underseasoned. For a meal close to $80 it wasn't worth it. The customer service was friendly and accommodating. The store itself had several places to sit inside and the A/C was nice and cold. Staff was helpful and provided recommendations for us first timers. We ordered the signature Hawaiian platter and a seafood pancake. The platter portion size was generous! Wow a friend told us about this spot and he wasn't lying, i got the beef short rib and chicken katsu plate, the best short ribs I've ever had. And the amount of food you get is insane it has to be like 3 pounds of food easily enough for 2 meals. 10/10 will be coming back read more
I was craving for some Hawaiian food and found they had decent reviews. I was hoping for food like the ones I've tried in Honolulu. It was alright, but not spectacular. Food ordered: - Signature Hawaiian BBQ Mix - which was more 3.5-4 stars. Good flavors and all, but did leave my tummy hurting a bit later. - Beef Dumplings - it was good and greasy Pros - somewhat clean restaurant, nice bathroom Cons - the wait time was tortuous. We were so hungry.. waited around 20-25 minutes after placing our order. I'll keep searching for another Hawaiian spot .. read more
This is my favorite place to go to for my island food cravings in the 757. They always have good music playing in the background, the cashier is super nice and friendly. The inside is clean and I do like that they have a fountain drink machine, nowadays people just sell bottles or can of sodas. I ordered the Hawaii original Katus and my friend ordered the snow coconut chicken. For a $12 plate you get a lot of food for the price. The only time I am able to finish it is that I have to starve myself for breakfast. I have already been here twice and looking to come back a third time soon. The chicken katus was really crunchy and the chicken was not dry. I am not a fan of Mac salad but theirs is definitely better than the ones on Oahu, you also get a large portion of rice and if you don't like rice I feel bad for you lol. 5/5 The snow coconut chicken might be my new favorite dish if I'm craving something sweet and savory. My husband and I really enjoyed our meal here this past weekend. I ordered a Hawaiian Fire Chicken dish, and it was delicious! They weren't kidding when they said it is spicy. So good! My husband also enjoyed his Hawaiian Combo dish - the meats were tender and flavorful, on the sweet side. The beef dumplings were tasty, as usual. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Casual Hawaiian restaurant in VA Beach. I am on vacation here and I always look for Hawaiian food whenever I come to VA Beach because they have an abundance of them. Alohahola was very good and priced well. I always order Chicken Katsu whenever I go to a Hawaiian restaurant and the one here was very good. The portions given are actually very hefty, I ordered two platters for dine in and I remember holding the tray on the way to the table and it felt very heavy. So they are very generous with the portions. The Seafood Mix was also very generous, it had two different types of shrimp included, fried and grilled on top of chicken. I highly recommend this place and I will be returning. read more

I first heard about this place through a Yelp event. Now, I go whenever I'm in the area. The portions are very generous so I believe the prices are worth it. Aloha Aloha, also known as Supreme Wing & Hawaiian BBQ, popped up while I was searching for Chinese take out restaurants in the VA area (I'm not a local). I checked their menu out online, and everything sounded so wonderful so I decided to give them a try. The location was very easy to find. It's located in a strip mall so parking was also very easy to obtain. I made my way in and was greeted kindly by an employee who also took my order. Great customer service! I decided to order their 3 meat (trio) platter with fried rice & mac salad, a passion fruit tea, and their BBQ chicken kids platter. All platters are served with either white or fried rice and mac salad. These platters were HEFTY! One platter can easily feed 2 adults. The kids' platter alone was enough to feed one adult. It's definitely a great value (in my opinion). The trio platter was very good. I especially enjoyed the steak & fried rice. The Mac salad was just OK, although I will admit I am not a huge mac salad fan, so please take my opinion on this dish with a grain of salt. The fried rice was delicious and fluffy. There was no need for any soy sauce or other condiments. The entire dish was very flavorful without being overly seasoned or salty. My daughter and I enjoyed our meals, and the next time we are in the VA area, we will gladly return to Aloha Aloha. read more
My dad wanted to try this location because he really enjoyed the one in Chesapeake. Honestly first impression waitress had a little attitude wasn't really impressed. It was kind of dirty inside, one of the workers was eating out of a container on top of the counter. I had the Hawaii Orange Chicken, I asked for extra sauce because it was dry and the girl had to ask if she could give me some extra sauce smh lol. Macaroni salad was very bland, so was the fried rice. My dad said the wings were basic and the burger was a 5/10 because the girl wouldn't allow him to get it the way he wanted. Went to supreme at lynnhaven by lynnhaven mall Virginia beach got the signature Hawaii BBQ Mix with beef, chicken and short ribs with vegetables and macaroni salad and white rice . Have to say pack full of meat, but placement of Mac salad put near rice is not what I like. The lettuce cabbage is under all the meat, but i think its too small cabbage. Container is small, but it's really good. Will come back next time for the Hawaiian drinks and other items of food I ordered to go First time I couldn't finish a whole meal even Korean bulgogi i can finish in a whole meat with a lot of meat the other hawaiian place in Chesapeake when i got the bbq mix I finished that container even with a lot of meat. The service was helpful although i think he didn't hear I didn't want a drink after I ask if they have soda and showed me a small cup. I didn't really want a small cup, but I also didn't want a bottle soda I looked at the menu online at home and forgot about the hawaiian drinks and I forgot to ask about that. The place was clean and empty tables as i just went when it was 11am around there the person went in ahead of me, but couldn't decide so let me order since I already knew what I want. read more

Super tasty food! You get a ton of food, so it makes the pricing pretty fair! The Mac salad mixed with white rice and the teriyaki chicken is great. Can probably feed an entire family with two entree containers! We had leftover for two days! Service is super friendly and they have a ton a seating if you want to dine in! Definitely our new go-to Hawaiian food in the area! Forgot to take a photo of the food containers, but here is my plate! read more
The place is very neat and clean. The food comes out fast and service from them is pleasant as well. You order on the kiosk but every menu has pictures so I lovedd that. I had the Black pepper BBQ short ribs and their portions are HUGEEE!! The sauce is really good and if it were me, i would not add and get the spicy sauce and just enjoy as is! If youre not a fan of macaroni salad, there is an option to take it out. I will come again! read more
Coming here was such a treat! I came with one other person and there was plenty seating. There are kiosks where you can place your order in case the cashier is busy. They were quick and easy to use. It's mostly a self-serve atmosphere. You seat yourself and pick up your order when your receipt number is called from the counter. I got the signature Hawaiian BBQ mix with fried rice. This comes with beef, chicken thigh, and short rib. The portions are very generous and all of the meats were seasoned perfectly. It took about 20 minutes after ordering for it to be ready. It's nice that it's made to order. I also got the fruit tea and that was delicious as well. The tea flavor was strong but it was nicely balanced out with the sweetness and fruit. Overall good experience! Staff was friendly, food was cooked fresh so there was a bit of a wait. All of the food tasted really good. Definitely some unique flavors and lots of choices. Big portions which is nice. Nice seating area but air conditioning was broken when I visited. read more
