We sampled almost everything and it did not disappoint! Everything was fresh, authentic flavors and DELICIOUS. This is now my "go to" bakery for my favorite baked goods. I placed a last minute order for a customized cake the next day and they were able to fill it deliciously! The little shop felt like home and was clean and filled with all our favorite treats. We have been looking for tamales in the area for a while now. Found Alondra's Bakery on yelp. Not only did we get tamales, we also got pan dulce. Couldn't wait to get home to eat a tamale. All i could smell on the whole drive home were the tamales. The tamales were awesome! Meat was tender and very delicious. The masa was moist and very flavorful. Found this bakery after having lunch next door. Loved the "puerquitos" not excessively sweet as in other places. Cookies tasted very cinnamony, were great to us. Had Orejas, crunchy and again not overly sweet. Overall loved all the pan dulce there also the flan was good! Service was provided by the owner/baker and was great talking with them and learning about the natural and great ingredients that they use. It is a little bakery, little bit crowded with all the things they have but all in all a great bakery to go to. Will be back. read more

Cute little panaderia, even a few mins before closing they had a full range of options. We got a bag full of different pan dulce and also got a flan and chips from Mexico. I'm total everything was about $20 which was a little expensive to me but I'm assuming the mex chips were expensive? Either way their bread was so yummy and fresh! read more

Went to eat dinner with my daughter to the Italian restaurant next door, and she suggested we stop by Alondra's before dinner. What a great call it was! We had a variety of their Mexican bread and it was to die for. The whole experience was great since the moment we walked in the door. Took a bunch of that bread home and the next morning had it for breakfast with coffee and I with a cold glass of milk. Had leftover bread for the following day and I was hesitant on the freshness. Put it in the micro for 10 seconds and it was still delicious. ( Not a Fan of Microwaves but, I was in a hurry & I took my chances) I have found my Go To Panadería since I'm new in Glendora and I'm stoked about that. This is one of my go to panaderia's for pan dulce in the area. I was told about this place by a friend who stops by here and lives in Moreno Valley. That tells me it's gotta be good right. He's gotta have a ton of options. They have a lot to offer including cakes and pastries. I've always been happy with the pan dulce selections. They have a huge spread! For me I'm a fan of the mini's and I haven't found a place that has a larger selection of mini's than here. The smaller pan dulce packs the punch of the larger with less calories. They are located in a strip mall and parking isn't an issue. There is a liquor store next door and there tends to be some rift raft there sometimes. When we stopped by today I ran in for tamales and homeless appearing guy came up to my wife in the car. I think he was just asking for money but when the pups started barking at him he left. I would not recommend the tamales. The masa tasted ok but we got puerco and queso tamales and let's just say that we couldn't tell if it was meat or cheese. read more

I have two words: yum-my!! Such a sweet little sweets place! A quaint, little old-school bakery with cakes and pastries galore. Also yummy tamales cooked fresh every day. The customer service is exceptional-very friendly and full of smiles. I bought a full size Dulce de Leche Cake plus a single slice portion (for me eat in the parking lot). I called this place (Spanish speaking fyi) she was very nice and accommodating for what I needed, although I just needed something very simple, she made sure I was helped. Came here because I was near here. The Mexican bread was ok not the best. I liked that they had breakfast sandwiches ready to go nice and warm. Seems as though they have a good variety of things here. Probably won't be back just because it's not that close to my house. Let's talk pan dulce, sorry to disappoint but you will not find any good one here. I bought a few, the concha being my favorite. Love having it with my coffee. Unfortunately it was not good at all. Once I took the first bite I was able to tell that there was a lack in taste. And it was a bit hard. The inside of the bread was rough not spongy and soft. I came here because it was convenient, BIG MISTAKE. The sweet breads are flavorless and very dry, no amount of sugar can fix it. The cookies are very small and thin and $1 each, when I got home the cookies were all broken that's how thin they are. Very over priced for nasty bread. read more

Went in looking to place an order for a birthday cake. Asked the lady in the front what options she had in terms for flavor of the cake. Her immediate response was "que opciones? De que estás hablando?" (What options? What are you talking about?) Once she understood what we were asking because for some reason she was confused, she only gave use three flavors to choose from, tres leche, vanilla, and chocolate, and once again with attitude. Picked up 5 pieces of sweet bread this morning, most expensive sweet bread I've bought ($1 a piece).... I understand prices are going up these days but for the size of the bread and tasteless not to mention HARD bread...not worth going here. This bread taste like it was days old. This bakery offers ready take home same day cakes. The cakes are really good and the prices are fair. I love their recipe the icing is more whipped and not too sweet and overpowering like cakes can be. The fruit toppings and fillings are delicious too. Their pan dulce there is a wide range of choices. They have it all cookies, breads, pastries and more. My favorite has to be the canela coffee. This bakery is one of my go-to places for traditional Birthday cakes. The only thing I would recommend but I'm sure this could potentially drive prices up is upping their decorating skills. read more

Best Mexican bread in the area! When this bakery was on 9th and San Gabriel (where the new Target is in Azusa) I used to go there all the time. All of our birthday cakes are made by them and our mexican bread fix comes from them too. They also offer tamales and champurado daily. Their tres leces cakes are the best in the whole area hands down. You cannot go wrong with a cake, tamale, or pan dulce from here. I followed them to their new location years ago and will follow them anywhere they decide to go! read more

Really good stuff, feels like home. The pan is very fresh and really beautiful. The cakes look lovely but I only had the chance to eat the bread. A bit pricier than like superior or big markets. It is worth it, about 70 to 85 cents a bread depending on what it is. Over all great place could use some more variety on bread but I would still come back. read more
