I had an adequate experience at Frontier Doughnuts (Azusa). I ordered the Glazed Donut ($1.85). It's sugary and fresh. It's a messy donut. However, it's a little strange how the displayed menu (photo attached) says $1.80 when I was charged $1.85. I arrived at Frontier Doughnuts (Azusa) on a weekend (around 10:20AM). Parking is simple. There's a small customer lot out front. Staff is very businesslike. Staff acted a little awkward, but Staff did his tasks. I didn't feel the most welcomed, but Staff appeared a little burnt out. On ambiance, Frontier Doughnuts (Azusa) is fairly clean, but its interior resembled a messy warehouse. There a few tables to sit at. Also, I appreciated the air conditioning, but the place did feel dingy. Overall, Frontier Doughnuts (Azusa) is not bad. It feels like a business that's desperate to scrape an extra coin or so just to get by. It's not an awful place, but it's also very unmemorable. 3.4 out of 5 read more

Located on the corner of Citrus & Gladstone in a small shopping center with plenty of parking. The shop itself is simple, but the food is great. I stopped by early this morning for a dozen donuts, and they were fresh, fluffy, and delicious. The service was warm and welcoming. They offer a good variety including old-fashioned glazed, twists, jelly-filled, bear claws, cinnamon rolls, and ham & cheese croissants, alongside hot coffee, tea, and cocoa. There are a couple of tables inside if you want to eat there. Overall, I had a good experience here and will definitely be back! read more

I like that they open late, good for snacks. It's located in a small lot, but lots of parking spaces. The staff was friendly and service was quick. I got a couple of donuts and their almond cookies as an after dinner snack. My favorite was definitely the almond cookies that they make in-house, buttery and crisp. Definitely worth trying! I have been coming here since I was a child and always got a plain croissant which was like $1.75 all these years and today just went in and it's now $3.50 that's insane! For a plain croissant I said nevermind I refuse to pay these outrageous prices now days. Mannnn oh man. This place is phenomenal!! First let me start off with their customer service.. the owner is such a sweet lady! She always greets you with a smile and always looks happy to serve you. Always gives you glazed donut holes with every order for free their donuts are so rich and tasty. They are never dry and always taste fresh, no matter the time you go. My daughter usually just likes to eat the top of the donut but she impresses me because she will eat the whole thing!! Meaning, their donuts are seriously so moist and delicious. The racks aren't packed but we pulled: Old fashioned round buttermilk glazed Cinnamon snail I lean to the savory but the gigantic croissants although impressive in size look more bread-like than flaky croissant. Ham and cheese croissant with jalapeño, bagel, and and ice coffee! The ice coffee is the best I don't even go to big chains anymore after I found out they serve ice coffee!! We came in here for something else they no longer serve and bought some yummy donuts instead. They even gave us an extra treat donut holes. My sister and I have been curious about this place. We always drive past here once we get off the freeway on the 210. Our go-to spot is Munchkin Doughnuts because it's closer to us when we walk and we've become loyal customers to that spot. My sister and I just decided to walk a little further to check out Frontier donuts with her dog. We checked out the menu, and what they had. The differences are more drink selections. They ran out of the baked croissants with ham, cheese, and jalapeños. The employee said he can make a new one for her. He just cut the croissant in half and put ham, cheese, and jalapeños. Even though it was just a sandwich my sister said it was really tasty. We also ordered the sugar donut and he gave us an old fashioned donut for free. Donuts were slightly smaller than usual but it still tasted nice and fresh! We were thankful for the employee giving us a disposable plastic bowl for us for our dog to drink water because it was so hot today. He was really nice to us. We're definitely going to be back again when we decide to walk a little further. read more

I've been coming to this donut shop since I was a little kid! It's right around the corner of my house, so I come here before I drive to school. The lady who works here is always really nice and she is always working hard! The donuts are fresh and taste soft and sweet (my favourite is the maple bar). Their breakfast items are so good! I recommend getting the ham, cheese, and jalapeño croissant for breakfast. It is absolutely delicious! Definitely stop by in the morning for a donut (or two) and coffee! read more

Beware when paying with a Credit Card!!!!! I had been coming here for almost a year and getting the same thing almost every time, few times sprung for a dozen for the office. It wasn't until a few weeks back that I noticed that the lady was charging me a $1 instead of the .75 the guy said it was supposed to be when using a card. After checking my bank statement I saw 8 occurrences of this and asked the guy to explain why she was charging me more. He said it was the machine not doing it right sometimes - once or twice I can possibly understand, not 8 times! Even after showing him my bank statement on my phone he said "No, bring in the statement and show me." I was showing him right there! Not worth the $2 I unknowingly donated to their business.
