A very cute small panaderia, crammed with all sorts of delicious sweet things. We saw Mexican candies, cakes and glasses of yogurt and fruit in addition to the wall of glassed cabinets filled with traditional pan dulce. We purchased 2 conchas, 1 sugar topped bun, 1 elote and 1 puerquito. The total was $8.00. The conchas, elote and the sugar bun are best heated up a bit. The bread is softer. However the puerquito or gingerbread pig shaped pan dulce is too dry and thick. I've had better ftom other panaderias. read more

Must say I'm not sure how this bakery has survived, because their bread is not good at all! It's super Dry. Don't get me wrong, it looks very good and moist but it's not! And it's a bit pricy for what you get. Seems like they keep what they don't sell for atleast a few days on the shelf. But what does make up for their dry and stale bread is the RASPADOS! NOW THOSE ARE BOMB! Would definitely recommend for a refreshing slushy but not for the bread. Unless u get lucky and are there when they make it fresh, for once....GL. read more

I went to buy some Bolillos and because they are a Mexican bakery I thought I would be buying typical bolillos, but they were nothing close to them. The bolillos at Albertsons bakery are better. Not your authentic bolillos. I really wasn't going to post about it, but what I want everyone to know is that they had ham sandwiches that where just out on the counter (for sale of course). They were in visually wrapped, but it's "ham". that needs to be refrigerated!!! That's a food safety violation! Just made me suspicious of what kind of business they are running if they can't get that right. read more

A friend told me about Alondra's Bakery #2 and I went the next day. The owner, Velia was beyond kind and helpful. I got an assortment of sweet breads and some bolillo bread. All were fresh and delicious! I'll be bringing my family back this weekend for raspados (shaved ice). I asked and they make them with fresh fruits...yum. I'm give them a 2 star because I was honestly that disappointed. Then main reason being that their cakes are pretty pricey which I don't mind if the quality also matches the price. We paid $40 for a medium size cake (I'll post a picture later so you could see how small). Well For one it was super dry I'm guessing because it was old. You could tell the cake was old because the strawberries on the top were already going bad. The strawberry jelly or whatever the strawberries were dipped In was all hard already almost giving it a gummy texture. The Oreo cookies on it we also falling apart. So we pretty much paid $40 for a super old cake my daughter didn't even want to eat it it was for her birthday. Never coming back. I was looking for a Mexican bakery near my work and I found Alondra's. I decided to check it out since today was Dia de Los Muertos and I wanted some pan de Muerto. Boy I was not disappointed. They had several types of pan de Muerto. They also have other traditional breads and cookies. They also make fresh bollios. The boillo bread was super soft and baked to not be too crunchy. I've had some bollios where its baked a little too long and it becomes too crummy when you cut it. I also found out they make mini conchas by special order. The nice lady said it's a 2 dozen minimum order. I will definitely be back. I'm glad this place opened north of the 210 in Azusa. read more

So Ive been driving by this Bakery since it opened and I was Glad to see that a Mexican bakery was opening near me because I moved to Azusa a year ago and this is something I miss (bread) . So I decided to give it a try this morning I bought Mexican bread and it was soft and tasty. And the bolillo is actually pretty good too . Its soft , fluffy and delicious.
