Meh... Received a gift of macarons from More Sweets today and they were just ok. Besides the chocolate and churro macarons, the other flavors were so very mild that you had to really think about what you were eating. And to be honest, I had to look up the flavors on the website to even know what they were because I just couldn't tell. If you have ever heard the description of white claws, you know exactly what I'm saying... Now to be fair to More Sweets, maybe macarons are not their specialty. Maybe they get their high rating for cupcakes and/or wedding cakes. From just my experience with the macarons, I would not return to purchase anything else. Went in today got a burnt Caramel croissant! It was delicious filled with caramel and chocolate and topped with a hard Caramel shell. Will definitely be back to try the churro one. The employee was helpful and very nice! I picked two of the Easter Cupcakes for my kids, my only con I'd say is $5.25 is quite steep for a cupcake, but it's a once in a while type of day. My kids enjoyed it tho, seems the frosting is buttercream and the cake itself was not too sweet and not dry. I also got myself a mini cheesecake tart! And omg. For $3.25 I'll take 5 of these lol! Stumbled upon their many Yelp reviews and needed to make a visit! Charming little bakery tucked away in a little Glendora neighborhood, they had a good variety when I went. I got a few macarons, fruit tart, and cheese tart. The custard in the fruit tart was lovely, sweet and paired perfectly with the tart fruit. I waited to eat the macarons with my fiancé, so they sat for the whole day, but they were soooo delicious still! They were all large, fluffy, and filled with tons of flavorful cream. The vanilla one had so much flavor and you could see the specs of vanilla bean in them. I would definitely recommend you stop by too! read more

The BEST macaron cookies I have had in a while! The pistachio and churo are to die for!! You must buy several because they are so delicious. Or a perfect gift to surprise someone with! What a wonderful little shop, small shop with only two tables outside but the sweets are great, my wife and I come here and have our blueberry scones with coffee, Sooooooo good. Some pretty good pastries, if a little pricey. I got the pumpkin turnover, the pumpkin chocolate chip scone, and a marble cupcake. The filling in the turnover had a perfect texture, but I'd say it was a little overspiced. The scone was big and delicious, had half at room temp after dinner and popped the other in the microwave for breakfast the next morning, not enough pumpkin flavor though. The cupcake tumbled a bit on my way home, not the fault of the business though, I just ride a bike, good overall. I believe I was helped by the owner's Father, he was nice and told me all about the business. I told him I had no idea a business opened here after the tea shop closed. They had opened right before the pandemic and weren't able to officially open their doors to the public for a while, but I'm glad to hear they made it through that. I reckon they probably need more support from the community and I'm always happy to tell people about a local business! I used to visit the tea house that was here before, so I'm happy that it's still has charming ambience and fun pastries/baked goods! They offer pastries, mini cakes, cupcakes, cheesecakes, macrons, scones (sweet & savory), croissants, and more! Here's what I got! Since I stumbled upon this place, I didn't come in with any intent to order anything, but the treats in the window looked too good to pass up! I ordered a few Halloween macarons (all different flavors: Dracula, Spider, & Frankenstein) & I ordered a small jack o' lantern vanilla cake (I believe the gentleman helping me said it was a Swiss Buttercream). Thankfully their macrons are not overly sweet & the flavors really come through. My favorite was Dracula (I think it was a mango blackberry flavor) anyway it was so good! So happy I discovered this bakery! I wanted to surprise my husband with some treats for his birthday. As soon as we walked in, my toddler pointed to the Strawberry cupcake so we had to give that a try. The taste was fantastic. She created our wedding cake and the process was pretty seamless. Found out about this place (tucked away from the busier DT Glendora area) thru a FB group. The owner is super nice, the pastries are the bomb (my breakfast this morning was the "guava cheese" pastry-- why drive all the way to Porto's?? *LOL*). It was amazing. The Esposo and I are pretty strict with our eating habits usually (we are: "whole-food, plant based"), but we will allow ourselves a once a week treat from More Sweets now that we know about them! I went here on a Tuesday to find out the are only open Thursday through Sunday. The place is cute and the moment you walk in, smells sweet and amazing. I had to see everything. I purchased every flavor macron they had which was 8 so got 2 of each. They also had a blueberry scone and a lemon scone which were moist and mouth watering. The person who helped me was kind and efficient. I went back another time and definitely had to get more macrons. This time they had 11 flavors so had to get 2 of each again.
