First time visitor to this small bakery located on very busy Azusa Ave. The bakery was very clean, organized and fully stocked. The two ladies who assisted me were extremely friendly and the bread I purchased was DELICIOUS, warm and fresh. This is my new bakery to visit when I am craving Mexican sweet bread which is often

I haven't had sweet bread in a long time and was craving it. I went on Yelp to see what locations was on the way. I decided to try this place. I ordered 3 white sweet breads and total was $2.25. The price wasn't expensive at all. The bread tasted nice and soft, but it tasted bland to me. My search for delicious sweet bread continues. The staff were friendly. The was back parking with limited space, but there is additional parking at a nearby plaza.

The service is ok. Location looks decent. Has its own parking lot, so it's convenient. The bread is ah is ok. So I was able to try a few different ones. The conchas are good, but they are made with anise. So it isn't your typical concha taste. The cone looking things is probably one of the best, the filling is really good. That would be one to taste is you do come here. Then the quesadilla was not good at all. Once I bit into it all I was able to check was butter. Even the f you smelled it, nothing but butter. Not what it is suppose to taste like. Then the churro not great. Tasted old and stale. So would I recommend this place? I wouldn't. But if you do come here just have the come looking bread because that's really the only one worth eating.

I…read moreconsidered going to Whole Foods or Portos but I thought to give this local bakery a shot, especially according to the reviews, they have some good stuff! I came in around 5:30pm and was able to grab this chocolate ganache cake. I noticed that some of the other cakes were already taken which id assume means they're quite popular! The lady who helped me out was very kind and she was nice enough to take the time to write "happy birthday dad" on the cake thank you so much! We finally had the cake again few days later at my dad's birthday dinner and it was DELICIOUS! I honestly want to come back here and try some of their other cakes. They also have other pastries that you can come in and pick out too if you were craving anything sweet in the moment. This bakery is truly a sweet hole in the wall spot that I hope gets more recognition over time! Thank you again for the great service and delicious cake!

I was in the plaza going to another shop and I was intrigued by their window sign of vegan cakes…read moreand Turkish coffee. They also mention they offer gluten free cakes by request. I had to go in and see what this place was about! First off, the man who works there is super friendly. As soon as I walked in, he immediately started showing me everything they had in the store. He told me he was Egyptian and also knew how to say "thank you" in many other languages and proceeded to tell me. He was very charming. Extra star for the super service! There were many varieties of beautiful cakes and cupcakes (vegan and regular), however I didn't need a whole cake, and I didn't see individual slices for sale, so I passed on those. The gentleman had such happy vibes and such pride in his baking that I had to pick up a few things. He said he made the creme brulee and cannoli, so I got those. I also picked up something called a Konafa with custard, as well as a package of baklava. I looked up Konafa to see what it was made of (shredded phyllo dough), and discovered it was something Egyptians ate during Ramadan. How fitting...Today is the first day of Ramadan so I will celebrate in spirit! =) The crème brulee was pretty good, the cannoli was great! I wasn't really a fan of the baklava (it was too hard for me personally) or konafa as both were really dry and tasteless. I am used to baklava being syrupy and sticky and flaky. I feel like I've had konafa before and the shredded phyllo was yellow color and on the crispy side, rather than soft and white. I guess it depends on the style of what country makes it. I was given extra containers of syrup for them, he said in case I wanted it more sweet, but it didn't really help. I'll have to come back and give the cakes a try since it's mainly a cake shop. I'd love to try their gluten free cakes for my son. I'm not vegan, but for those of you who are, this is an option for you!

Entering the small shop, I was immediately greeted by a friendly staff person. The entire shop is decorated with Latin themed decor and pictures of famous Latina women. There was a small selection of desserts. I was hoping that they sold slices of cakes so that I could sample them, but no luck. I picked up: Churro cheesecake Strawberry Ricotta cake Polvoron cookie White Chocolate Raspberry Muffin Chocolate Turtle Bundt slice Oreo Brownie Cafe de Olla latte Everything was good. It's so cute that they package the muffin in an individual bag, perfect for gifting .The chocolate turtle Bundt slice and churro cheesecake were my favorite. The bottled Cafe de Olla latte was AWESOME!! It comes from a place called The Brew House in La Puente. They also sell potted plants if you need some greenery with your desserts. I asked when the best time to come and get the biggest selection of items, and was told that Thursday afternoons after lunch would be best. I'll have to come back then and hope for more new things to try!

There's a little something called MENTAL HEALTH. This includes doing things that make you FEEL better. Sure, that 'runner's high' we get from time to time feels good, but, how about satisfying ME for a change? You on board? Ok, cool, cool. So, let's take a break from that health kick and reward ourselves with a little treat? I've found the perfect place." So, if your "sweet tooth" could talk, this is EXACTLY what they'd be saying about this bake shop. Seriously, there is NO BETTER place to satisfy your sweet tooth, and not a more deserving baker in the area which would be grateful for you stopping in and doing so. I've tried LOTS of goodies from this spot, and not ONE THING has disappointed me or my family. The only disappointment we feel, is when whatever sweets we picked up are all gone. Womp, womp. Also, let me let you in on a little secret. You aren't dealing with a run of the mill, let me start my own business dreamer. Nope, you've got a full on CHEF running this operation, who is a master at her craft, and the proof is most definitely in that pudding (I don't think I've ever seen her offer pudding, but like, if she did, the proof would be in it). In addition to the delicious treats on display, she takes custom cake orders, and let me tell you, if you think what is offered in store is good, just WAIT until you try one of her mind blowing cakes! So good. So decadent. So....ugh, just go buy one already. She made a nutella cake for my daughter's thirteenth birthday and it was freaking delicious.
