I am always hesitant to use a mechanic, but Pyramid Transmissions sent me here due to my car being an import and it needed more than my general shop felt comfortable in doing. I called them up, told them Pyramid referred me and that I wanted someone honest to take care of my car. I was told to drop the car off and they would take a look. They told me that they would not get to it for a couple of days, but the next day I received a call from the shop. They went over the needs of the car and the estimate in basics and then sent out a full review of the car via text/email that showed everything in detail on what was wrong as well as what they were going to do to fix it. It was very detailed and it made me feel very happy to know that someone was really taking a good look at the car and helping to maintain it. There were a couple of cosmetic items that they specifically stated they did not perform and they were honest with what work they sent out and what was done in shop. This allowed me to make decisions on each item and allow them to move forward with the car repairs. I was updated regularly on the car via text and they were very responsive to those texts, not just a robot sending them. I felt like my car was in very good hands and they did not talk to me in any kind of demeaning manner, I was a customer and I felt they treated me with respect and knowledge (which can be hard as a female taking in a car). The job took a little longer due to ordering of a tool that was needed, but again, everything was relayed to me and updated via text. I felt like I was just sitting in the waiting room and getting regular updates! Went to pick up the car and was offered a cash discount which was nice and I took it and then was told to bring the car back in at 5000 miles for a quick check and oil change to make sure everything was tight. I asked how much that would be, I was told just bring it in and we won't charge you and you can be out of here in 30 minutes or so. I felt like I was family here and was treated with respect and honesty and I will not take my import anywhere else after this experience. Brandon found several serious areas when doing a Digital Multipoint Inspection. Brandon was the technician who found and took photos of the issues above. I appreciate his checking on all points! 1) Remove & Replace Both Front Struts and Coil Spring Assembly W. Front Sway Bar Links - 4 Wheel Alignment Included. 2) Remove & Replace Both Front Wheel Bearings. 3) Remove & Replace Both Front CV Axles. 4) Remove & Replace Both Rear Brake Pads, Rotors & Calipers - Brake Fluid Exchange Included. This time it was when we went through a car wash, go figure. Anyway, we called and they said to bring it on over and we had to wait about an hour before they had time to fix it, but they fixed it fairly quickly after that. The total was less than $20, so I am one happy camper at the moment that they were able to fix this and do so affordably as it has cost us much more other places we've had these replaced. This is a super busy location. They do have a small rating room for five or six people, including a TV to keep you busy if you don't have a phone. There is a coffee pot and water as well while you wait. They did have a battery on the counter with charging cables, but it didn't appear to work and I honestly didn't feel like bothering anybody about it. Bathroom was clean as well.
