I had a new engine put in somewhere else, but started using Eagle. I noticed an oil leak and was told there were valve leaks from when Tom Wood put in the engine. Tom Wood said my vehicle was out of warranty (12k miles or one year and I work from home, so I didn't drive it often). I had Eagle do the valve work, with was over $800. A few months later, I noticed there was still oil leaking. I took it back and they said it wasn't the valves, but is now the top oil pan. I asked didn't they have to touch or remove the oil pan to do the valve work? They said no and said it would be another $800+ to repair. I talked to another mechanic and was told they absolutely had to remove the oil pan to do the valve work. So, my truck is leaking oil and loosing engine pressure because Eagle reduced to honor their warranty and wanted to milk me for money. Update after owners response: I took my vehicle back a few months later and that was the answer given. I did not drive for the majority of 2025 because of a hand injury. I'm writing this response now because of what I was told by a mechanic recently. If they look in their system, they will see they repaired my car and a few months later, I brought it back for a diagnostic because it was still leaking oil. I work from home and put very few miles on my car between 2020 and January 2026. read more

My car decided to stall on the way to work while driving it this morning. I was able to get it started and headed to another car shop down the road. They said they wouldn't even be able to look at it until Monday, so I remembered Eagle Auto which was half a mile away. I got there 10 minutes before they opened and was the first one in. Jessica helped me at the counter. She was absolutely phenomenal and LOVELY. She got my keys and said they'd have someone run diagnostics on it. I made my self comfortable and waited for about 45 mins until she came back with the results. Thankfully nothing popped up on their tests and she gave me my keys and said no charge. Wow. Just wow. Great service and they were so prompt. I told her that I would be giving them an awesome review- especially her help. I will most definitely be coming back (hopefully not too soon) when I'm in need of service. They also gave a ride to a gentleman that came a little after me. Very nice. They deserve a ten, I took my car in because of a rough idle They spent their money to run a fuel injection cleaning. It did not fix the issue. Rather than move forward my warranty is still in effect for injector issues . So I took it to the dealer. But here is why they are a ten. They didn't charge me. Because they couldn't fix it. I had an awful experience with them. I have an older jeep with a blower issue. I called ahead of time to make an appointment and make sure they could fix it. I was told no more than 48 hours to get it taken care of. I spent 350 dollars renting a car and dropped it off at the appointment time. As a single parent, that is quite a bit of money. I received no communication from them until the day came I was supposed to pick it up. They informed me that they hadn't even looked at it. Update: Upon deeper discussion with Scott and Mike, they were very accommodating and helpful in finding some resolution to my sensor issue. Mike removed the labor from the original repair bill, and they will try to help me find a solution to the continuing sensor issues. I recently bought a used Nissan Xterra from a dealer in southern Indiana and the vehicle had an issue with the ABS caused by a speed sensor that was corroded and they did not have time to replace it before I needed to pick up the vehicle. They discounted the amount that it should take to replace this part, but recommended that I have a reputable service shop run a diagnostic first to confirm the issue. This shop came highly recommended by the Zionsville moms group on Facebook. They confirmed the issue and quoted $840 to fix it. Long story short, they replaced the sensor and now are saying sorry this didn't fix the problem and we need several more days to try and figure out what it is now? They can't tell me how much it will cost to run the diagnostics again, or how many days, hours, etc. So, I need to pay $890 for a repair that didn't work so they can continue to charge me an unknown amount to try to find out what the problem actually is? They are certain "it will cost me a lot more" though. This is the shadiest most disingenuous response to a problem that I have ever heard. He "wants to help me out" though and would discount the current charges when he knows what the future charges will be. Or, "I can take it to someone else" as soon as I pay him the $890 for not solving the problem. WOW read more

I cannot recommend this establishment. It took them more than a few weeks to make the repairs, a new engine. Once the repairs were made there were issues. Mike told me that the engine mount was bad and had gone bad after the engine was put in. I took the car to another shop and there was a 3/4" gap between the engine mount and bracket. When I contacted Mike about this he told me that sometimes they do not fasten all the way. The other establishment informed me that it was not the engine mount that was the problem. The problem was the engine bracket which is something that should have been noticed when they put in the "new" engine. My power steering was bad and needed to be replaced. I forgot to tell them to replace it. I konw as fact that it was bad as far as a year ago. When I mentioned this to Mike he told me that it must have gone bad after the engine was put in. It was leaking and it was visible. The people there are very nice but their efficiency is not good. I cannot recommend or applaud this business. I spoke with Mike today and he has made things right with the repairs. They are honorable. read more

We took our van in for what I thought was a straight forward exhaust replacement. However, Kyle and his guys performed a thorough check to make sure they knew what the problem was, and not just go by the dealers assessment. And I'm glad they did...they saved us 85% from what the dealer was going to charge us! On top of that they made sure we were aware of some preventative maintenance issues...also saving us money. To our amazement, they busted their butts to make sure the work was done (and done properly) so that we had our van back before the weekend! We can't thank them enough for their efforts. Edit: Matt (the owner of eagle automotive) reached out to me directly after I posted the review and I stated that the work they did, did not fix the issue of my A/C not working and asked for a chance to make it right, which I was hesitant but I agreed! He had Tony reach out to me the following day, which tony arranged to pick up my truck(from my workplace), drop off a loaner for me and continued to diagnose the issue my truck was having! They figured out what was going on, contacted my extended warranty to approve the work (ordered the parts prior to warranty company approving the work (to speed things up for me), due to unforeseen circumstances, at which eagle WAS NOT at fault for, things didn't go as planned but Tony did great at keeping me updated and fought hard to make the warranty company approve my claim, when he didn't have to! Even though my first experience didn't go so smoothly, Matt and Tony did what they could in their power to make it right and I very much appreciate it! That will bring customers back! Thanks to Matt and Tony for going above and beyond to make things right! Original: I decided to give eagle automotive an opportunity to service my vehicle and see what they were really about. First time to ever deal with them and I got a good vibe from the get-go but started go downhill from there! So I took my vehicle there Sunday evening and dropped it off (left the keys in the vehicle with a keypad to unlock on the outside because I didn't see the drop box until I was leaving and part of the reason for it going there was a battery drainage issue) called them Monday morning to let the know why it was there and they said they would look into it, the vehicle didn't get touched until Tuesday morning when an employee called me and said the keypad didn't work because the battery was to dead (in my mind, the vehicle sat there overnight, Sunday to Monday and the battery was drained but not completely to where it couldn't unlock the truck from the keypad, but since it waited two full nights to drain, then it was deader than a door nail, which previously the employee stated that they had lock-out kits and they should be able to unlock it with their kits! He called me Tuesday and said they couldn't get in so I had to call my warranty company to go and do a lock-out service (which was free to me since I had an extended warranty) but still a hassle regardless. Got the vehicle unlocked around 1 on Tuesday afternoon, didn't hear a word from them (attempted to call them about 4:45, 15 min before they close, since I hadn't heard from them but no answer) until Wednesday at noon when I received the text with the diagnostic results and STILL had to call them to figure out what the game plan was. At this point I figured out that they weren't good about communicating. On Thursday they said they "SHOULD HAVE" the condenser in and they would start working on it, he called me about 4:20 Thursday evening (they close at 5) and said the part just got in and they would start on it first thing Friday and the other part should be in by Friday as well and it wouldn't take long to fix both and I should have the truck back! Well, Friday rolls around and they said it wouldn't be fixed due to the parts not being in till around closing time and I asked if I could have the truck over the weekend since they are waiting for the other part (mind you that stated the condenser would be fixed first thing Friday) I said ok, I guess I'll wait till Monday for the other part to arrive, meanwhile I drove over there Sunday afternoon to grab a few tools out of the truck and there it sits in their unguarded parking lot with EVERY SINGLE DOOR UNLOCKED, meanwhile they have the keys inside! I opened the hood to see if they changed the condenser and sure enough, IT HADN'T BEEN TOUCHED WHATSOEVER. read more
