From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a staff member (I wish I had caught her name) who greeted us with a big smile. She gave an excellent demonstration on how to properly throw an axe, let us practice a few rounds, and provided helpful tips on positioning our arms and legs for the best results. Another fun touch was the TouchTunes music system, where we could purchase credits and play our favorite songs. We definitely took advantage of that! Only thing I didn't like is you pay for an hour but the staff started the timer before hand so we didn't get an actual hour they started the timer and then explained the rules to us and showed us how to throw it would make sense to do the tutorial and then start the timer once we are ready or once they are done explaining. One unique feature is that they serve both alcohol and food, and you are allowed to enjoy a drink while throwing real axes. Because it was my first time, having the coach was definitely helpful.
