Second time coming for a birthday celebration and a few observations: 1) Def book early and come…read moreearly. You'll essentially have the place to yourself and you can really enjoy the space without hustle bustle, 2) Your cage instructor is really the make-or-break. Both times we were super lucky to have a great instructor and it really made the games fun and the time fun. Drinks are decent and the food is ok, but not anything crazy. You'll be busy chatting and playing more than eating, but it's good for nibbles. Staff is great and the place is super clean and well organized.

Welcome to the only accessible axe throwing spot in Manhattan. While there is another location in…read morethe city, it is only open for private events, making this Chinatown venue the best option for most people. I was surprised by how spacious it is, especially since I had no idea it had been here for a few years. We booked a two-person private session for about $150, which included a coach. One unique feature is that they serve both alcohol and food, and you are allowed to enjoy a drink while throwing real axes. Because it was my first time, having the coach was definitely helpful. He explained the rules, guided us through proper technique, kept score, and introduced several different games to keep things fun. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend it, especially for a team-building event or a night out with friends.

We picked a location that was the midpoint between my home in Connecticut and my parents' home in New York City. We couldn't have chosen a better place than Banana Cabana! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a staff member (I wish I had caught her name) who greeted us with a big smile. She gave an excellent demonstration on how to properly throw an axe, let us practice a few rounds, and provided helpful tips on positioning our arms and legs for the best results. The venue had a great drink menu with plenty of options, including non-alcoholic beer. We also loved the variety of games available Battleship was a favorite! Another fun touch was the TouchTunes music system, where we could purchase credits and play our favorite songs. We definitely took advantage of that! Overall, we had an amazing time and will 100% be returning if we're ever in the area again.

Well we originally came here because online it says New Roc had bowling, and mini golf but…read moreeverything was closed down the only thing open was Axe throwing, the Movie theater, and places to eat. We drove a long distance to we went in to learn to throw some Axes. They seemed a bit short staff but in good spirits I saw a tiki bar and they had scannable QR codes on the tables but they bar and food options where closed as well so missed opportunity there. Axe throwing definitely will make you thirsty we did the 1 Hr option and would've signed up for more if there was a food and beverage option there. Only thing I didn't like is you pay for an hour but the staff started the timer before hand so we didn't get an actual hour they started the timer and then explained the rules to us and showed us how to throw it would make sense to do the tutorial and then start the timer once we are ready or once they are done explaining. All in all it was a fun experience with our group of friends definitely fun to do.

We ordered the burratta pizza and a margherita pizza. While I was most excited for the burrata, the margherita was the winner for me. The pizza in general hit the classic nyc slice that I grew up with, thin, crisp, and the right balance of cheese and sauce. Given the lines, if Im in the area I can see myself going back, but also feel there are other places throughout the city that would provide me the same taste Im looking for. Especially when considering how crowded the inside can be that its hard to find a spot to stand to eat (luckily there are counters and high-tops but they can be very crowded). They did have a cantaloupe ice cream that seemed really intriguing which would be something I'd likely come in for. The people I did see get it seemed really satisfied, and it felt like a unique flavor that I haven't seen many places offer.
