The instructor/guide told us how to throw but when asked if she could demonstrate, said that she was unable to do so. She walked away several times during our session so when I had questions about the game or about the axe throwing movement, going looking for her was really annoying. Plenty of other games to play before/after if axe throwing isn't your thing but we opted to leave after our experience. They have food and drinks but we didn't have any.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a staff member (I wish I had caught her name) who greeted us with a big smile. She gave an excellent demonstration on how to properly throw an axe, let us practice a few rounds, and provided helpful tips on positioning our arms and legs for the best results. The venue had a great drink menu with plenty of options, including non-alcoholic beer. We also loved the variety of games available Battleship was a favorite! Another fun touch was the TouchTunes music system, where we could purchase credits and play our favorite songs. We definitely took advantage of that! Some staff wore masks. They were having an issue with air conditioning when we went unfortunately so it was sooo hot. But we still had a blast! One staff member seemed like he didn't want to be there but explained how to do it and we eventually got the hang of it. I bought us t-shirts after cause we had fun and would like to return.
