They've come through for me…read moreso many times over the years when I'd forgotten to bring things I needed: a flashlight, a travel candle, and most recently a charging cord. And of course I find a lot of things I don't need, too! One of my favorite t-shirts came from here; it's got their store logo, which is an adorable little steampunk anglerfish. I'm so obsessed that I got a sticker with the same logo on it this trip (also, they have a lot of awesome stickers). On top of that, the staff are super friendly and welcoming! There's one delightful woman who has been there the last couple times, and she's a joy to chat with. I wish I had asked her name. I work retail myself, and she exudes the same warmth I try to give to all of my customers, too. It's not always an easy job, but you can tell when someone genuinely wants to make customers feel at home in their space and takes pride in their job. Also, I'm really obsessed with coming back and getting an anglerfish sweatshirt now.

Her shop is amazing - full of fascinating crafts from lots of different artists, and she herself makes gorgeous stained glass! I was on the Florence Charm Trail, but earlier when I was on Bay Street I hadn't stopped into this shop and I'm glad I did the second time around. I was trying to be quick on my trip through this store because my mom and I had planned to head back to Eugene much earlier... so I didn't get a chance to wander leisurely, but there were a few things that caught my eye and I had to keep myself from looking and buying.
