I clearly requested $10 on my credit card. Handed the attendant my key and my card, rearranged some things in the back of my pick up, asked for my receipt and he told me there wasn't one. I pointed to the pump and said yeah it's right there - I'd like that please. I put it in my wallet, pulled out got, around the block & noticed I had a full tank of gas.... Circled back said - I told you I only wanted $10. He said that he didn't remember me - I must've said fill. Conversation ensued. So I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I've been hearing around town that the new group that came in has been ripping people off. I know I should've gone to Chevron, but I was trying to save some money and ended up spending more. And now I've had to contact my credit card company as well. So if you're local the Lincoln county heads up. Win some lose some but I certainly wasn't trying to spend $50 there. That said, they also filled a diesel with regular gas that had to have the engine dropped in the parking lot. It's really a shame. We needed some snacks to stock our beach house rental and this was a one stop shopping store. Their prices are a little high compared to the chain grocery stores, but that's not surprising. We don't mind paying a little more in quaint small towns. We prefer the peaceful, low traffic areas of the Oregon Coast. Employees are always friendly and helpful here. Cal for Eugene Or. to move my granddaughter to be near her parents. Normally this is a 2 day trip up and 2 days back. Day one went without a hitch. Day 2 we got stuck in snow on Mount Shasta and had to turn around and head for Reading. They 3 started out perfectly until we got just passed Medford, Oregon when the road started to get icy. After five hours of crawling I-5, the road came to a stop. Department of transportation had closed the road. We were low on fuel and were chatting with another couple on our hand held radios. They decided to use a nearby inter change as a place to get some rest. As they got off, the husband said he thought there was a truck stop he could reach by nearby side roads, and if he could find it he would let me know. Praise the Lord. He found it! About 10 minutes after he told me how to get there we arrived at Shell Family Mart at exit 163 in Curtain, Oregon. The super friendly attendant filled both my truck and my wife's. He handed us bottles of water, and a card for free coffee inside the mart. He realized that the interstate was closed and told us just to find a place to park inside his lot for no charge and stay until the road was open. I love these guys and by the way the convenience store. Is full of all kinds of goodies and useful things for the traveler.

But don't despair, Lakeview Grocery has the basics for your recreation pleasure. Sodas, snacks, core groceries, beer, and most importantly, ice. Because drinking warm beer sucks. The real convenience comes with the dock access across the street, though. It's mainly a dock designed so people on the lake can pull up, run in, grab groceries, and then head back across the lake. However on the couple of times I've come through here, they've been amenable, once we buy groceries for lunch here, to letting us have a little picnic on their dock and even jump in the lake. Triangle lake is kind of weird - most of the land around it is private. And it's really best enjoyed with a boat. But if you're like us, and simply passing through and wanting to jump in to the mostly-blue water, then stop by, stock up, and ask nice, and maybe they'll let you use their dock for a picnic too. Friendly folks, decent selection, and convenient location. That's all that matters, right?

As a retired middle school teacher, I have to say the horrible conduct of these two young people helps explain what is wrong with our schools. I saw the lack of respect coming when I retired in 2013. So so sad!! No respect for their elders or authority.

We didn't see any employees pumping gas while we were there. They have snack and beverage vending machines available as well. Overall, we got what we needed, gas! The pump we used had a crappy lever on it. It kept clicking off like the tank was full, but we only had about a quarter tank when we stopped in. We ended up putting $80 of gas in the tank, but had to hold the pump lever the entire fill-up. A bit annoying.
