This family owned distillery and blending house make delicious cocktails for every pallet type. We had a large group, so there were a lot of cocktails flowing, but the stand out one seems to be the South Side, a gin based drink which had the perfect balance of sweet and citrus. They don't take reservations but since we went at a time right before dinner on a Sunday (there were 15 of us!) we had the place almost to ourselves. I could see this place getting busy on a Friday or Saturday so maybe go with a smaller group than what we rolled up with if you want a guaranteed spot! Lentz_explore

Well, a new place that specializes in craft cocktails is right up my alley. We walked across, found the door, and entered. I was really impressed with the interior space. It was cool and dark. Lots of places to sit with a small bar area where everything is made. The cocktail book is large and has a variety of offerings for every palate. The bartenders were very helpful to our friends who are new to craft cocktails. They stick with vodka martinis. I started with a paper plane, which was very well-made. I then tried one of their specials, the Fig Leaf Old Fashioned, which was fabulous. Everyone had a fabulous time, and we will definitely be back to try some of the Absinthe recipes. I hope my fellow Yelpers support a new cocktail place. We need more of them.

Upon entrance is a doorman who is so friendly and accommodating! He found us an open table and checked on us throughout the night. The place was packed and they only had maybe 5 or 6 employees so the service was a little slow but understandable. I think the longest wait was about 20 minutes when we were waiting to get our initial drink order taken, but everything after that was fairly quick. For drinks I got a thin mint martini because they were out of the chocolate reuge martini I wanted. It was so yummy and came with 3 thin mint cookies. My mom got a pistachio martini and the Jefferson Tea. Both were pretty good but I wouldn't order again. My dad got Dead Mans Redemption which is good if you like bourbon. It comes with a wood topper and they light it on fire, let smoke fill in the drink, and then take the wood off. The drink then has notes of smoked wood in it which is cool. For food we got the crispy spring rolls and pepperoni flatbread. Both were so good!!!! It was absolutely worth the wait!!! I could eat the whole flatbread myself it was that good and I can't wait to go back and get another one. The crowd is definitely much older, not a lot of younger people around. It's a good date night for married couples. Overall it was a nice place and I would come back.

My friend got the same and enjoyed his. We also got the nectarine salad which was delicious and the loaded falafel fries which were I got the black cherry cider which was excellent My friend got a cocktail with mezcal called hello Daisy which was excellent The reason I'm knocking off a star is because the burger didn't come with anything, no sides fries etc. the price is pretty high given the quantity quality of food etc. We sat inside and everything was great they have outdoor seating as well. Parking is on the street. Another thing I didn't like is they charge a kitchen fee. No matter it comes out of their tip but I think it's a little bit weird I think this would be a great place to get a drink. The food was very good and on point but given the price point it's a bit on the high Overall I would come back for the bar but not in a rush for the food for the price point

I had the osso bocco. It was a large portion , falling off the bone deliciously seasoned with a tasty spinach, grits underneath. I enjoyed every bite. I was sorry I couldn't eat it all! I shared some with others telling them how delicious it was. My friend ordered the bolognese entree which she says is the best she has ever had. Their eggplant parm sandwich was recommended as well. My husband had the shrimp fettuccine, also delicious. The kids like their chicken tenders. Hostess was friendly and sat us right away. Waiter was so nice. Took drink orders and brought everything out efficiently. Checked if we needed anything. He was great with the kids. When we complimented him on our food, he was pleased. It looks that the restaurant is adequately staffed so that the service is excellent. Ambience is good. Moderate noise but has a pleasant hum. When you walk in, the hostess greets you and brings you to either side of the restaurant. It is almost two separate areas, each with its own bar and seating. It is a nice layout. They have very comfortable booths with large tables. Our server came over, introduced herself, and took our drink orders. The drinks were generously sized and well made. They have a wide variety of cocktails, beers, and wine. They have an enormous menu with a variety of appetizers, burgers, salads, and entrees. They also have a "specials" sheet featuring rotating specials. We ordered their fried string beans and some Caesar salads to start. Both were very good. My wife had chicken parmigiana for her entree, our friends had salmon and cod, and I had the whole belly fried clam plate (YAY!). The portions were GENEROUS. My wife's chicken parmigiana was enough for three people. Best of all, my order of clams was enormous and perfectly made. I am a complete snob when it comes to fried clams. I rarely get them, and I can say that these were among the best I have had anywhere. Price and value were excellent. We said we would be back, and we made that official. Our second visit was just as good as the first. I had a beautifully prepared Prime Rib and my wife had salmon. Don't be like us and wait 15 years. Give this place a try ASAP.

Inside was nice with a large bar, high top tables and then some lounge chair seating. When I went to the bathroom, I discovered they had an outside patio with table and chairs. We ended up sitting out here and enjoyed it. The drinks were good but my favorite part was they have games to use while at the establishment. We chose the hook and ring toss game but they had cards and I think chess too. We did not have food on this visit but would come back to try it. It is a good place to go before or after going to the Comedy Connection.

There were a few 1s and 3s, and if you dig deep, they were not reliable reviews. Anyways, if you come here knowing that it is a bar and lounge with limited menu for food, but good selection of canned and draft beer, plus full bar, then you will be happy. We had the nachos with BBQ pulled bork, and lemon pepper dry rub wings. The rating for these are solid 4, not like the 3s some folks left. The only thing that prevents them from attaining 5 is the attention to details and care that it takes to make them true 5 stars. But again, this a a bar and lounge. I think it would not matter much if come here later in the evening, after you have been to dinner elsewhere, and want to hang out with your friends with late night snack and drinks. I thought the service was friendly but a bit relaxed, but again, if you come here to chill, being the "relaxed" atmosphere will not upset you. If you want a speedy and attentive service, this place is not it. We did enjoy the vibe though. Probably a good place to come before or after the show at Comedy Connection next door.
