I had the absolutely perfect dinner here. We were a party of 6- 2 kids meals. We started off with the bread bowl with 3 dipping sauces. The pesto was bright green and amazing, best ever. I had the osso bocco. It was a large portion , falling off the bone deliciously seasoned with a tasty spinach, grits underneath. I enjoyed every bite. I was sorry I couldn't eat it all! I shared some with others telling them how delicious it was. My friend ordered the bolognese entree which she says is the best she has ever had. Their eggplant parm sandwich was recommended as well. My husband had the shrimp fettuccine, also delicious. The kids like their chicken tenders. Hostess was friendly and sat us right away. Waiter was so nice. Took drink orders and brought everything out efficiently. Checked if we needed anything. He was great with the kids. When we complimented him on our food, he was pleased. It looks that the restaurant is adequately staffed so that the service is excellent. Ambience is good. Moderate noise but has a pleasant hum. TLDR: Great food, reasonable price, cozy vibes. We both ordered the burger which was juicy and delicious. Very full and filling! The fries were perfectly crispy, and the truffle was definitely worth the extra $2. The inside is decorated with fairy lights and fall decor. Rave for Revival! We all had a fabulous time dining here with friends. Our server was phenomenal with great vibes, a warm atmosphere, and so many food and drink options. After spending the afternoon touring the Lizzie Borden House we came here for dinner. Warren, RI is such a cute town to visit, shop, and dine in. The restaurant is more like a farm-to-table vibe with a very cozy atmosphere. It looks as if you are stepping into your friend's living room. We started off with a few cocktails: I had their Pumpkin Smoked Old Fashioned which was delightful and cool to watch (see pic). For starters, we shared their cheese board which was good but did not offer a lot of cheese to share for 4 of us. For entrees, I had their beet salad with Salmon, my husband had their burger, and our friends had their rigatoni bolognese and osso bucco. Everything was phenomenal from start to finish. Our server was also great and friendly and offered suggestions when needed. For dessert, we had to order their banana bread pudding because how can you not. We do live a bit further away from here but because we enjoyed it so much and all the cute shops and other bars around, we would come back. Friends wanted to meet at the Square Peg. It was packed so we wondered over to Revival. We got space immediately at the bar to wait. The bartender was great at making drinks and very neat/clean/organized. My special whiskey sour was peach, pretty, and delicious. We were able to transfer our bill to the table and the bartender was also our server. The specials sounded delicious but I had the Tuna Tartar as my entree. It was perfect and pretty. I am writing this review to give revival overall high marks. I've done there no less than half a dozen times in the last year I've actually held celebrations for my wife's 50th in a very important night for my son and his girlfriend. The food is amazing You can tell whoever creates it really knows what they're doing. However, the service and management really needs some work. I taken my son there twice and he absolutely loved it, which isn't always the case for a somewhat picky 17-year-old. He liked it so much she decided to take his new girlfriend there for their first serious dinner date. Once the waitress realized that it was two kids who weren't gonna be spending a lot of money, She instantly turned cold and tried to rush them out of there as soon as possible. I have also found that the service isn't great. The weight staff definitely needs some tips on being warm and friendly to people who are on average spending $50 ahead for dinner. I went in again recently and had a very similar experience with an older waitress who seemed pushy and somewhat rude do better. read more

Ok had some issues trying to reserve a table on line! Was told when I got there it doesn't work, you need to call? They don't answer phone till 4:30 when they open?? Coming to the town of Warren is always a good idea if you want good food. And Revival is no exception! Our Sunday evening was spent enjoying delightful cocktails, oysters, a variety of Italian-inspired entrees, and a strawberry chocolate crostata to round out the meal. Definitely try to get a table by the window (I for one love natural light in a restaurant) and away from the main room of the restaurant for a quieter time. The service was nice and not overbearing which is a plus. We chatted the evening away with the only silent moments being when the food was set down on the table. First and fabulous dinner here tonight! Mine was medallions of monkfish with saffron tomato sauce (with olives!) and wilted spinach on grilled Tuscan bread. Three of us shared the burrata appetizer with prosciutto, grilled bread, greens, fig spread, and a balsamic reduction sauce and all had plenty. Fellow diner declared her Manhattan perfect. Another said his Old Fashioned was too sweet. My Old Fashioned was delicious. The Eggplant rolotini was also declared a success along with the tuna tartare. I tasted the banana bread pudding with rum raisin ice cream dessert one dining companion ordered and, while I loved the ice cream, I thought the bread pudding was too sweet. Also not in a ramekin as we thought it would be but instead a more deconstructed version. Still very much enjoyed but the one who ordered! Our server was very matter of fact and great at her job. She was knowledgeable about the menu and completely on top of my food allergies which appeared on the detail of what was ordered when we received our bill for the evening. The food here was definitely 5 stars. I'd suggest making a reservation because we went on a Thursday evening and it was really busy! The restaurant was very cute, both inside and out. It felt like a nice mix of classic, historic, and modern. The menu had lots of delicious options and I decided on the Statler chicken. My mom got the rigatoni bolognese. She asked if they had any bread besides the full bread appetizer and she was able to add it on to her meal for $2 and received a generous portion of house made bread. The chicken was cooked just right and the pan jus was so bright and delicious. My mom prefers plain sauce without meat but loved the bolognese and said she'd order it again. We were both stuffed but the dessert menu tempted us into trying the banana bread pudding. It was a bread pudding with slices of banana and came with rum raisin ice cream. It was a large enough dessert to share. We were impressed with the flavors and the portion sizes. Since it was crowded, the restaurant was a bit louder than we'd have preferred. Our server didn't do anything wrong but seemed rushed and not very personable. Warren is such an adorable small town and I'm glad we were able to find such a delicious restaurant for dinner. I remember the first time I visited RI, I saw the location in East Greenwich and thought it looked cute then -- but we were looking for lunch and it wasn't open. Easily the best the food in Warren. That's saying a lot with the plethora of great restaurants in town. My go to is either the statler chicken or the Bolognese. I have never had a bad meal here including any of the specials. The appetizers and salads, all good. That also extends to their cocktails, craft beer, and wine selection The restaurant and bathrooms are always clean. The atmosphere and ambiance is casual and lively but still able to carry on a conversation. Overall a must try when in Warren. read more

Exciting to finally try The Revival on a beautiful summer night. We were seated outside right on Water Street. Revival has a really compelling menu with lots of different options, lighter or not, smaller or not, and really different dishes that make the restaurant stand uniquely apart from all of the others in Warren. What I loved most about the menu was that beyond dinner, this is also a perfect place to stop later and grab a drink and a small dish. I would love to stop back here again just for that! My birch old fashioned was incredible albeit very strong. As for my entree, I got the pork osso bucco which was incredible. A serving of comfort food fit for a king and despite the fairly simple appeal - pork and grits - Revival manages to elevate the dish into something that feels nearly gourmet. I remember the flavor combinations and seeing the herbs and aromatics in the Marsala sauce and also tasting the deep flavors of the super moist and perfectly tender pork. Although it was a warm summer night, this dish would be absolutely perfect on a cool fall day. Service here was fantastic. This place is ALWAYS a go to when I am home. They have a new menu each time I go and everything is always so yummy. The bread basket was filled to the top with a variety of warm delicious bread. Each one I tried was my new favorite. You can pick your own sauces and toppings and the fig jam was soooo good as well as the pesto! I would also highly recommend the steak stir fry!! The noodles are thin and clear like glass noodles and the sauce is amazing. You can order your steak any way you like it also, I got medium rare. The risotto was also incredible. I wrote a negative review a few years ago however I've gone back here several times and the food has always been excellent! I'm in love with their Stadler chicken- get it every time. They make an amazing shredded brussel sprout salad- not always on the menu but I wish it was. Good flourless chocolate cake but not as good as Trafford's which is beyond any I've had and I've had a lot! The prosciutto plate is fantastic! Other dishes are loved by friends- just can't remember what they were as I'm writing this. Highly recommend! Except the noise level is really awful! This is a nice, cozy spot in downtown Warren. I met a friend here on a Sunday evening. We showed up when they opened at 4 and were seated right away at a small table with cushioned seating on either side, stuffed with pillows. Very comfortable. The menu consists of a variety of small plates, sides, and large entrees so you can really customize your meal. A few vegetarian options, mostly eggplant so if you are a veggie and don't like eggplant, be warned. I ordered the eggplant panini with an extra side of parmesan rosemary fries. They were AMAZING! A nice drink selection too with custom cocktails, a large wine list, bottled beer and a good selection of draft beers too. After reading reviews and looking through pictures, I anticipated an excellent meal. Tonight was truly a case where the experience exceeded the expectations! We started with the burrata slate which was generous to share and accompanied by wonderful, hand made garnishes and excellent quality prosciutto. For entrees we had the Marsala braised pork osso bucco, a "signature" dish that was savory and sweet and so lovingly prepared and the steak frites with excellent fries, also a delight and perfectly cooked medium rare with a crisped crust. We ended with the banana bread pudding that was the best ever, both delicate and hearty at the same time, with delicious rum raisin ice cream. The cocktails were also creative, aesthetically pleasing to the sight and delicious on the palette. An A+ meal. The service and ambiance were delightful as well.
