We had such a fun experience wine tasting with Krishna today. The variety of wines we tried was really satisfying, and we appreciated that they brought out some of their best selections for us. Honestly, whether you prefer white or red, they have something you'll enjoy. We ended up placing an order that they'll ship to us, and we'll definitely be back the next time we're in Napa.

All really solid wines. What stood was the variety and you could pick what types of wines were open. There are about 12 dozen wineries to select from. The service was great and we got to try what was available and open in a flexible way. There was even one if the winemakers There pouring extra wine and we got to chat a learn more about the process.

The cheese crackers are to die for! We came and was served by Maria and krishnof and omg the service is amazing. The wine was so good and the company better. If you are loooking for a no frills wine bar come here and get ready to be blown away!

Loved our experience at the Vintner's Collective - and it's dog-friendly! Kurtis did an amazing job tailoring our tasting to our palates and provided a warm atmosphere. The complimentary cheddar bites were also tasty. 5 stars all around!

Being a frequent flyer of Napa tastings I am here to tell you that VC is a perfect place to dial your wine profile down and figure out what you like. Or if you know what you like to enjoy a diverse offering. No pressure customer Service at its best. At VC they listen to you and don't try to sell you something that's not in your flavor profile. You matter, your experience matters to everyone at VC Mike, Marie, Alicia, and David will make sure you're provided with the best customer service. Here is my bottom line. If you love wine and want to be a member of a club that cares about you as an individual then VC is the place for you. 13 years and I am thrilled at their Offerings and their customer service. Many member perks and events. This is a no brainer. Give it a go

I'm not a huge "wine tasting" person but when in Rome... I mean, Napa... you go taste the wine. My friend knows people and so we stopped in here to visit with one of her friends and while we were visiting, he offered to pour for us. There's a lot going on at the Vintner's Collective. This is a very specific bonded tasting room that represents a small group of family-owned wineries that don't have tasting rooms of their own. It's neat to have the opportunity to taste these boutique vintners in this very classy space. Yes, the historic stone building dates back to 1875 and was a former saloon. A super friendly group of folks today who know what they have and are fantastic at making recommendations for your palette. Delicious stuff. It's quite exclusive and I would suggest you make an appointment and plan to buy some wine today. [Review 17663 overall - 454 in California - 1184 of 2022.]

My husband and I were able to call ahead and schedule a very last-minute tasting, and from the very beginning, the hospitality was exceptional. I work in the wine industry on the retail side in Texas, while my husband does not, so creating an experience that feels both educational and approachable for both of us is not always easy. Steve absolutely nailed it. He welcomed us warmly, shared thoughtful stories about the wines and the winery, and made the experience feel incredibly personal. The tasting room itself is beautiful and feels like a hidden gem in Napa. We especially loved learning about the wines and the woman winemaker behind Levendi. The tasting was stunning from start to finish. What truly sets Levendi apart, though, is the level of hospitality. Since our visit, I have referred many of my favorite clients to Levendi, and Steve consistently goes above and beyond for them. He bends over backwards to make sure my customers are taken care of, and every single person I've sent has come back raving about their experience. At this point, a trip to Napa would not feel complete without a stop at Levendi. I honestly cannot imagine Napa without Levendi -- or Steve. If it's your first visit, do yourself a favor and try the Stagecoach. You won't be sorry.

We tried a couple of their red wines and ordered a couple bottles of bubbly for the table, which were refreshing and not too sweet. We also ordered a charcuturie board, which I enjoyed. Wow, how far Domaine Carneros has fallen is truly sad…read more I have been coming here since childhood (with about at 15 year break for obvious reasons). In the 90s and early 00s they allowed well-behaved kids, and I remember being enchanted by the sheep cutouts, the pate and cheese, and the beautiful fountain. We eventually stopped being brought around, but my parents stayed members for decades. When I returned as an adult as guests on my parent's membership, the visits were wonderful. Servers were warm, the wine was phenomenal, the view stunning, and the food always great. After years of joining my parents, I finally became a member myself. Since then, visits with my husband have been inconsistent. To be clear, WE are consistent- we dress well, behave respectfully, never overindulge, and tip generously. Most of the time service is attentive, we taste everything, order plenty of food, and buy lots of wine to take home. Friends have even joined because they loved the experience. But about a third of the time service feels strict, stingy, and inattentive, and I cannot understand why our treatment differs so much from my parents, even with the same servers. But, we came back again and again, because MOST off the time it's a dream. This past weekend, however, may cost them two memberships. We visited with two couples, one already a member and one interested in joining. We were dressed well, respectful, and ordered plenty of food. After asking for a couple more tastes to go with our next round, we were told there was a limit of four pours. When the server returned (I had asked for some time to reconsider the tastes if we were limited), she said three. Everyone agreed we were told four the first time. If this is a new policy, why did it change within minutes? Why weren't we informed the first time we asked to try something else? Service declined from there. No checking on shade, slow follow ups when we asked for additional accoutrements, and no water top offs unless we asked. We were absolutely mortified that our good friends we had invited had this as their first experience, after us spending years telling them about how magical it generally is here. We ended our visit early and spent our money at Iron Horse Vineyards, where we enjoyed hours of great wine and a beautiful view without being cut off. One of the couples actually ended up joining their wine club based on the stark differences. Domaine Carneros lost an additional membership, hundreds in purchases, and may lose two dedicated members. All it would have taken was a few more ounces and a little more time. When we visit wineries where we hold memberships, we expect to be treated as valued guests and to enjoy tasting as much of the menu as we can until we are finished. Little gifts sent to us on our membership anniversaries are cute, but where is that same sentiment when we're there in person? That doesn't seem like too much to ask for other wineries. I keep giving Domaine Carneros chances though, as I have so many amazing memories here. My parents were shocked when I told them. They had just visited and had the experience they have enjoyed for decades. So why didn't we? We now have to decide if keeping this membership is worth it. The wine is excellent and the views impeccable, but I am not sure I want to support a place that so clearly chooses who gets better treatment.

Alyssa was nice enough to come over and speak with us, and I feel she going to be a welcome addition to the Collective. For the first-time reader of one of my AO reviews, this location is incredible. Quality/Quantity - I had a hard time with the website making my appointment, it's a user issue as I am just not tech savvy. So I called and someone actually answered the phone and made my appointment for me, THANK you! We arrived 15 mins early, so we hung out in the lobby reading all the history, etc. Then Skip took us to the best view overlooking the vineyard for our tasting; see pictures! We sampled almost ALL the reds! All of which were good. See pictures. I like the fact that we did side by side tastings of many of his wines. My favorites were the 2022 Primitivo and 2021 Malbec, which we bought a few bottles of. Ambiance - Secluded private winery. Close to main Downtown Napa, but far enough away for privacy and a feeling of being far away. Appointment only, so very private and customer focused. Typically no more than 3 parties at a time. Today was considered a very busy day as there were 4 parties including us, lol. Gated private estate. 200 acres. Plenty of parking, especially since hosting only 3 guests at a time. Events - See their website. Well behaved dogs are allowed outdoors. Service - Skip is a history buff and we both talked for hours... After leaving, well really the next day (LOL), I realized that our tasting was supposed to be only 60 minutes. I guess because we got along so well, we stayed until closing! And he gave me a glass with a generous splash and let us walk the property alone after they left! So welcoming and trusting. Price - Depends on which tasting and what you buy; see their website for prices. Tastings range from $50 to $100 per person. One free designated driver allowed. Tasting fees waived with wine equivalent purchases. Hike tours $75 per person ($60 for club members). See their website for more information. After we finished eating, I frantically researched (read: checked Yelp) for a winery to visit. Housley seemed to fit the bill--good reviews, dog-friendly (we had her dog with us), and what seemed to be a reasonable tasting price. We get there and we realize it's owned by Tamera Mowry (who is now Mowry-Housley!) There's a picture of her and her husband (a former baseball player) in the window. We're sort-of starstruck. Shortly after, her husband (and the winery's owner) Adam walks up with their daughter and asks us how we're doing. We continue to be starstruck. Service was wonderful. Seating was comfy. The views weren't the best (we were drinking on the sidewalk and there's a parklet too.) The 5 wines for $29 was not bad, but the size of the pours was lacking. The first pour was the smallest and then slowly they seemed to give us more (maybe they heard me!) Honestly, the pricier wines tasted better. I wish our wine tasting could've been free if we bought two bottles or something--I would've done that! Cute merch and store with goodies inside. Bathroom is clean. Would be back!
