Ate lunch here yesterday with a friend. Had not been in for a while as I usually bring food in and eat at my workspace. Wow, incredible food! Nice setting also. I had the souvlaki, and we ordered chickpea balls, and calamari to share. My friend had a.gyro sandwich. First of all, without any hesitation, I can say that the calamari was among the best I've ever eaten and I've probably ordered calamari 50 times in the past two years. Amazing! Flash fried with a very tasty topping that was mostly calamari and just a thin layer of breading/coating. The chickpea balls, which my friend recommended, we're also outstanding. Deep-fried on the outside and very firm, but incredibly soft on the inside. Perfect presentation! Souvlaki was a nice size portion, which was accompanied by rice and vegetables. My friend enjoyed her gyro too. One of the best meals I've had in Waco in a long time. Also, not a long wait for the food despite a decent size lunch crowd. Nicely done!

Had a delicious meal last night while we were visiting in town, enjoyed so much. I made the walk back by myself for lunch.

Very good Greek spot. Everything was top tier right down to the pita. The fries were fresh and crisp.Tha baklovah was crispy and just moist enough. The one down side was that they didn't have the traditional lamb gyro that comes off the spit. Just shredded lamb. I liked that they had a huge dessert and coffee selection. We are in town from San Antonio and would definitely come back again.

    Chicken thighs dinner! Amazing!

The Salmon is amazing. The truffle fries are awesome! The Gyros are spectacular! The food is delicious and the cooks are talented! The atmosphere is nice and clean! The service is always very friendly.

Idk what this is called but you should find it and eat it. Kunefe type base, Bavarian cream and whipped cream.

Alpha Omega is my favorite place to eat when passing through Waco. Their beef gyro is like, $6.50. I add fries to mine. The baba ganoush is amazing but the real star is the pita bread. Homemade, soft, melt in your mouth but thick enough to hold up to it's fillings. Give me a stack of that pita bread, some falafel, baba ganoush and go away! Their desserts may be the best I've had in this town. Idk what you call it but of them has a baklava or kunefe type base with a Bavarian cream filling and whipped cream on top - heavenly. I'm told they are all homemade, too. Located next door to a great cha place. Walkable are, near downtown and union hall. Plenty of parking.

I love this place and have come back many times and it is consistently amazing. I always get the beef gyro and hummus with pita and veggies. The beef gyro had so much flavor in the meat and the pita is so soft, you can tell that it is fresh. I love looking at what pastries that have today in the container even though I never get them. I appreciate the quality and consistency to change it out almost everyday. Must go in Waco!

Greek fries all day. Best feta I've had before. Shredded instead of shaved lamb on the gyro--not bad, just different.

Do they use MSG in their dishes? I am very allergic to MSG. How do we know if a dish has MSG or not? One will feel thirsty after eating it.

No msg is used or added at Alpha Omega.

Since Magnolia is such a brand, they could easily get away with fairly middling goods, but it's nice to know that whomever is in charge of desserts is a Type A kind of person who shall not abide crummy treats. My giant cupcake was the kind of good where I kept nibbling from it all day long, and the next day, I was sad that I hadn't bought another. We swung by on our way of Magnolia and the perfect little goodbye treats for us to pick up. First, the smell is absolutely amazing and draws you! Fresh everything being baked up on site with most of the goods on display. I was a bit unsure what to get when we walked in because of all the delicious options, but then I saw the homemade oatmeal cookie pie and that was it! My partner got the blueberry crumble muffin, not as exciting or tasty, but it was good! However the oatmeal cookie pie was scrumptious! The cookies were soft, yet firm and not crumbly while the filling was thick, light and smooth. So good! Service here, like all outlets at Magnolia, was top notch. They were hustling, but still found time to be cheerful and helpful! Overall, definitely not to be missed when visiting the Silos. You won't regret it!

Magnolia Press is their house coffee shop serving up all the coffee house classic beverages and snacks. Beverages were all the basics with a few specialty drinks, both hot and cold. The food was standard breakfast sandwiches and pastries. Prices for everything were moderate, but expected. I went with an iced mocha and chocolate croissant, while my partner went with a breakfast croissant. The food came out a few minutes before the drink, so we munched on the goods while we waited for the coffee. The food was good and the drink was tasty. It hit the spot for sure! The flow can get a bit backed up depending on how busy the baristas are...and they were busy! We waited a longer time after ordering than we did in line to order, but neither wait was egregiously long. Once we got the coffee, we made our way outside to the courtyard.
