The facility itself is clean, well-kept, and professional. That might sound like a small thing, but after being sent to other places in the past, it makes a big difference walking into somewhere that actually feels like a proper medical office instead of something run down or questionable. I saw Dr. Sunil Aurora, and he was excellent. Very professional, thorough, and--most importantly--he took the time to clearly explain how the procedure works and what to expect going forward. No rushing, no talking over your head--just straight, understandable information. Right now, we're waiting on confirmation from the VA to approve coverage for four treatments, so that's the next step. But based on this first visit, I feel comfortable and confident moving forward with them. If the treatment side matches the first impression, this is going to be a solid place for care.

He and each member of his staff are all so kind and caring. It's been several months since my treatment, and my mobility has been restored to higher than he thought we would get. I've been singing his praises and recommending him to so many people. Hoping this review reaches a few more! Doc, if you ever read this, THANKS from the bottom of my heart! I've been able to get back into my passion (dog sports) and looking forward to more years of this.

Dr. Swiber is a wonderful, compassionate, prince of a human! Seriously, his kindness can not be overstated. Great sense of humor too! Megan Frank, PA is also top notch! She hasn't been in pain management very long, but she has an innate sense of caring and empathy that makes her perfect for the field. The nurses are amazing, along with the office staff! Very little waiting, great communication. If I ever move back to NC, this is the first place I will go for care!

The RNs are fabulous, and the office staff is responsive, caring, and welcoming. I am already getting relief from my care received. This place is excellent. I used to go to Raleigh. I am so happy to have found Dr. Swiber and this care team in Cedar Point. DO not go to the Morehead City center at all. However, the only great thing about Morehead City Center is the PA that is responsive and caring. The RNs are nosy bodies making comments with no knowledge. Dare I say the office staff is awful, and the nurses are nasty and make nasty comments and your privacy is non-existent with them. Go to Cedar Point. A world of care at that center.

After numerous calls and messages, sweet BREANNA picked up the phone at 2 PM and just owned the whole situation! She made contact promptly with KARMA and I have no doubt that between the two of these professional and personable women, I'll have my meds today. Please thank both Breanna and Karma for me! With Breanna, her patience, willingness to help, and reassurance helped to calm me and I feel confident that the dilemma is resolved! I'm so grateful for Karma and staff members like Breanna who understand how frustrating these situations can be for the patient. Her attention to the details of the situation kept me from having to repeat the whole scenario over and over and she just took it forward, assuring me that everything would be resolved and that she'd call me back promptly, I felt complete relief after a stressful morning. With Karma, I always feel that I am the only patient at the practice, she makes you feel that special! I've been with her for roughly 10 years and the undivided attention that she shows me during my visits are such a blessing to me. While this world is spinning at breakneck speed, Karma truly listens to every word I have to say and I know that she truly cares for me and all of her other patients, Mondays are just heavy days but thankfully, these two beautiful souls have taken away my stress regarding receiving my overdue meds. God bless all of you there at Johnston Pain! Sharon

I have never had any trouble with getting treatment at Johnston Pain Management. The staff is always very nice & professional. I have seen many of the doctors at this office at different times throughout the years & all have been extremely knowledgeable, nice, & professional. I've found that as long as you're respectful, truthful, & stick to your contract, you'll never have any issues. They're a very busy office with many patients, so you may have to leave a message with them if you ever have any questions or concerns, but they always get back to me within a day. I highly recommend Johnston Pain Management.

You cannot call yourself a doctor, when you automatically discount treatment options endorsed by the American medical association, without even bothering to take the time to look at a patient's medical history, images and medication history. If you have a blanket rule that says you refuse medical treatments, on a wholesale basis, no matter what the actual patient's case presents... ... You're not a doctor. That's not how science works. Don't waste your time with these people. They are quacks. There is a reason that my required medical treatment is recognized as legitimate by the American medical association, even though my case is rather rare. If my required medical treatment were medically unsound, it would be illegal. I am that one case that causes the medication I require to remain in production. These idiots won't even look at my MRIs. They just turn you down, if there's anything other than cookie cutter, manufacturing line medical care required to treat you. Don't waste your time with these idiots. Find yourself a real doctor. My only problem is that I moved. My medical treatment plan is absolutely sound, as can be further evidence by the fact that I have a doctor who treats me now. I just have to drive 8 hours, round trip, back to where I moved from in Winston-Salem North Carolina... On a broken back that I broke serving my country, and standing in front of bullets to protect you... Until I find a real doctor in this area who wants to practice medicine, rather than line his bank accounts while leaving Veterans untreated in his area, because he cares more what his politician thinks than what his medical school thought. These people are a disgrace.
