Use these guys! There are kennels and then there are Kennels. if you have a hound who's an outdoor under-the-porch creature, maybe a cinder blockhouse with a trap door to a muddy run would be fine. But that's not how they roll at Alpha. So if you're like most owners and would like a nice large, clean facility, a large staff who gives plenty of attention then Alpha is your place. In addition to their standard program they also offer additional TLC packages. We opted for the Silver Package because our little terrier needed help socializing with other dogs. With that package they sent us several photos of our pup getting along just fine with the others, after 1-on-1 introductions. Anyway, there you have it. Everyone at Alpha Kennels is very dedicated to the animals in their care. I've been bringing my dog to them for weekend getaways, week-long vacations and grooming for 3 years now, and it only took one weekend away for me to never worry about him while he's there, ever again. I can tell that they truly care about him, and his happiness. While stuck in another country for an additional 3 days, with a blizzard happening back home, they kept him over time with barely a conversation. Alpha is our go-to kennel when we need to board our Rottweiler Roxie. Jason and the rest of his crew are amazing & kind!! The kennel has so many activities for the dogs, I know our girl loves to go swimming in their pool Recently , my husband had heart attack and needed emergency surgery, and I could not come pick Roxie up from daycare. They were so kind and so helpful to keep her for a few days and even bring her home once we got home. Our dogs have been going to Alpha Kennels for years and they LOVE it. It's odd because when we pick them up they whine and want to go back inside, to the point where I feel bad if I haven't boarded them in a while. LOL. Sometimes I think, "maybe I should take a vacation so my dogs and go to Alpha"...but then again maybe I just want the vacation :) In all seriousness, Alpha is a great kennel and they have always been so great to us. I'm a new dog owner, and I was very nervous to leave my puppy on his own. Jason, Miki, and the Alpha Kennels team have made leaving my boy totally anxiety free. Oswald absolutely loves Alpha Kennels, whether it's for doggy day care while I'm at work or for boarding when I'm away. His tail starts wagging as soon as we make the turn into the parking lot. I highly recommend Alpha Kennels. I have left my Yorkie, Jada with Jason and staff for a week at a time for many years now. When I pick her up I can tell right away she has been loved and well cared for. This is the only place I will even consider for watching after Jada. I have used Alpha kennels for grooming exclusively. They came highly recommend by my veterinarian. I have two senior Cocker Spaniels who come home from the grooming/spa day looking fantastic. They keep the fresh bath smell for weeks after. No complaints on their services. Owner is very knowledgeable and friendly. this is paradise for dogs! My pup knows that when I drive past the veterinarian's office, she's going to doggy daycare. She gets so excited! She goes in bouncing off the walls and comes out at the end of the day happy and tired. We took our two cavaliers to Alpha Pet Resort for grooming. They were very friendly, our puppies were happy and they did a great job. We have them scheduled for a week stay while we are on vacation this summer. We have used Alpha Kennels for the past 3 years to care for our dogs, 2 Chihuahuas and a Miniature Pinscher, when we are on vacation or out of town on business. The kennels and bedding are always clean. Our dogs can be a little contrary but Jason and the staff handle them with ease. That gives us peace of mind when we are away from them. Love this place! Have been using now for a couple of years. Very clean, very accommodating and the staff/service is excellent. I have a very nervous older dog that previously needed to be sedated at vets to get nails done. I now have it done here, no sedation, they even showed me a video of my dog while they were doing and he was fine. Highly recommend! read more
