The groomers and front staff really seem to enjoy their jobs and working with the dogs. Even when they appear busy, they still manage to have our three dogs ready within 3-4 hours after drop off and always call 30 mins before they are ready, allowing us the perfect amount of time to drive out there to pick them up! They also allow us to tip their workers via credit/debit, saving us a trip to the ATM!

I recently tried making an arrangement to pick up my cat's prescription medication only to be told on the phone by a woman that they're not going to allow me to pick up medication unless I make an appointment to get X-rays and injections for my cat-you know, extra expenses that are costly that I can't afford right now nor that my cat really needs since they've been bouncing back extremely well on the medication alone. The prices are also very steep here. $100 just for walking in the door for the appointment. It's literally a $400 expense everytime you make an appointment here because they get insistent on tacking on expenses. The visitations become less about real animal welfare and more about squeezing every last dollar out of you.

I made the reservation several weeks in advance and was packing for an international trip the day we dropped my dog off. It slipped my mind. One thing that would help is sending an email confirmation with this info. Seems like standard business practice to send an email anytime a customer makes a reservation. They could go one step further and send an automated text or email the day before your reservation starts (like doctors offices and restaurants do). Alpha pet resort was a lovely experience from beginning to end…read more I've never boarded my animals so I did research to decide and after them talking on the phone with me for 30min and sending pictures of the facility, I decided to book with them. The online portal and app made it easy to upload my cats documents and book the taxi to pick them up day of. Jason, one of the owners actually came to pick my cat up. I added a happy pet package which allowed a playtime daily, and I requested they send me pictures each day, which they obliged. If I ever need to board again I'll definitely be going with alpha pet.
