Tractor Supply - Entrance to dog wash

Tractor Supply has been in Ruckersville for a while now, I'm surprised they haven't made it to Yelp…read moreyet. The store is new and well organized. The staff is friendly and the service is attentive. While we have the big blue hardware store in town, I can find about everything I need at Tractor Supply. We have been getting our propane there for our camping trips since they opened. They typically have good prices and you can't beat the service. Recently it was grass seed time and Tractor Supply had the best price on the Kentucky 31 Tall Fescue. While picking that up I noticed they had just opened a self service dog wash. Typically if we wanted a self service dog wash it would be at least a 25 minute drive to the other side of town. Having Tractor Supply 10 minutes from the house made this super convenient. We brought our dog back to the dog wash about a week later. They have two metal dog was tubs with steps for larger dogs you can't pick up. They have a selection of about 4 different shampoos. The one feature that I like that the other location doesn't have are the grooming tables. The adjustable height tables allow you to properly dry and groom at a height that doesn't kill your back. They provide brushes, combs, etc but I would rather use my own that don't have hair from a previous dog. The dryer also reaches the grooming tables. I think I will return just for the convenience, but know to bring some of my own supplies next time. All in all, Tractor Supply is a great addition to the neighborhood.

They are well stocked, and the layout is very straightforward with organized shelves. Cashiers are efficient and also quite friendly. You'll be in and out in no time. However, if you're someone who likes to browse and ask for assistance or general information of someone, you may find yourself disappointed. As a former employee of petsmart, I know how much the company LOVES cutting payroll, and this location seems pretty impacted by it. I've been in there several times where the floor was just the cashier and the manager on duty. I can't speak for the training or grooming services, but as a standard shopper, I am satisfied with this location. It's just that not everyone will be.

Looks like maybe their fish tanks share water and they don't spend any time quarantining new fish to determine if there is a problem was very sad to lose our 7 to 10 year-old fish population if you buy fish here, I would suggest quarantining them for two or three weeks before adding them to your tank. I also think the apathy of employees reflects how much they care about delivering good products to their customers, so when the employees don't give any indication of caring, they are probably not maintaining their tanks or caring about selling fish that a re e diseased. . I have been a customer of Petco through many, many, many managers. I asked for an even exchange for the filter and because of their 30 day NO exchange, refund, don't ask, question or inquire policy - would not even consider an exchange even tho they had three on the shelves. I needed to invest in another filter because I did not want my fish to die. After going through Petco Corporate Headquarters, I called Aqueon. This company stood by their product and I was able to speak to them as a solid customer of their product and got a satifactory resolution FROM AQUEON. Aqueon products are sold ONLINE. I would recommend buying these products online and NEVER going to PETCO for anything - ever!!!!!! Can exceptions be made?? Of course they can. Hello Petco! This could have been a much different review. I don't need to get anything at this store. I supported it through the 12-4 opening only hours. What a waste. Now I know - Now you know. Do Not Let Anything Break EVER from this store!!!!!! Then - you will probably, maybe have an ok experience.
