I love Pack City Doggie Stylez! I am a repeat customer of Eryne's. Eryne is always happy to see my poodle Mimi and always takes the time to understand exactly what we want done to Mimi's coat. More importantly, I'm always impressed by how good Mimi looks when I come to pick her up, and that's a testament to Eryne's level of detail and her skill set in general. As a plus, I always find it really cute that the dogs are allowed to free roam somewhat while waiting for their appointments. I recommend Pack City to everyone; you will not be disappointed!

But my doggie was finished in maybe 30-40 minutes. I was provided with helpful tips since this is my first venture with a doggie that has something other than short hair. In addition, I was given a recommendation of an affordable vet that offers dental care which has been on my to-dos and now is a work in progress. Will definitely reach back out ahead of time for the doggie.

5 Paws are in order for this place! Excellent work on the nail trim and ear cleaning. Shampoo and conditioner with a blowout made my dog Helios's coat really shine. I like the low-odor products they use so it just has a gentle woof of clean, not a big bark. They were also really caring with my dog and it seemed like it wasn't ruff on him. Definitely coming back for a sniff and snip again!

Last year I adopted a senior dog who, coincidentally, used to be brought here for 7 years by his mom who passed away. My boy is (we think) a Cockapoo and is EXTREMELY difficult to groom. He won't stay still, thrashes around and gets very loud/growly when his paws and butt are touched. Ellie has done an amazing job with him!! She's been so patient with him, especially since he was described as being one of her most difficult grooms ever. Ellie has always been very communicative about any issues that came up during the grooming, all while being very kind and not at all judgmental. I cannot recommend this salon enough, especially Ellie if you want someone you can trust to take care of your difficult dog. read more

They used to groom our Therapy Dog Keno, but abrutley told us she could now longer groom her because she had a bad back. We were so disappointed because she did and fantastic job. Later found out through another Newfie owner she has two, that she was still grooming her Newfies. Really, we were always on time, tipped very well and we have never had any complants from any groomer on her. Luckily found another groomer who does just as good of a job and is thrilled to groom her. Wish you had told us you were having problems with her standing, not long after we left she was diagnosed with Adisons and we almost lost her. She was not standing for you because she couldn't. Luckily she is doing well now and will even hold up her paws for her new groomer. Never had an issue with your work it was excellent just hurt you did not completly disclose to us what the issues were. read more

LOVE Pack City!! First, I walked in to drop my dog off for an appointment, and noticed every dog that was there had a big smile on their face, along with everyone who was grooming each dog. Immediate good vibes as soon as you walk in. I have a big husky Pyrenees mix that had a lot of mattes in his coat. He desperately needed a good grooming. Ellie was an absolute PRO. She was friendly, communicative on her recommendations for my pup's haircut, and overall just the sweetest. She clearly loves what she does! When I picked up my dog, he seemed genuinely happy, for both the haircut but also to have spent the afternoon with Ellie. Highly recommend and will take my pup back here every time!! read more

I first wrote this review about the company and Sara. She is no longer there but it is still the best place to get your dog washed, cut and any extras. We take our dog there and my son takes his dog there too and we have never been disappointed and our dogs look their best. I like booking online but they can get very busy. I love that my little guy does not always have to be caged until I return. He just finds a quiet place to hang out. read more

I took my puppy here to get his nails trimmed and it was a wonderful experience!! I've had him for about two years and not once have been able to cut his nails and have had multiple people try and give up because he was screaming. Best grooming experience ever! I took my two elderly miniature poodles there, who were looking a little worse for wear after some patches shaved for medical reasons, and got back the cutest little pups. They look so much younger! I was impressed by the grooms themselves (teddy bear cut for one and more poodley look with clean face and feet for the other), but also how quick and professional our groomer was. Train wreck from start to finish. Moved my appointment twice, groomer late arriving and had to wait over 40 minutes, she says she's throw in extras, but the grooming was absolutely no different that's I've had other places. She missed several spots on my Cocker's face. Definitely do not recommend. read more

Eryne is truly the best dog groomer I've ever been to. She genuinely cares about all of the dogs. There are few groomers who are willing, much less thrilled to take on a big furry dog. Eryne welcomes them with open arms and hugs. She gets my huskies clean and de-shedded in no time. I've taken them many places in town and no one does as good of a job as Eryne. I recommend Pack City and Eryne to anyone with a dog, they will be clean, expertly trimmed and happy! read more

Pack City Doggie Stylez is hands down the best groomer in town! They are conveniently located on Wells Avenue and there is plenty of parking in front of their business and behind it. The interior is very clean and inviting. We take all three of our dogs ranging in size from 15 pounds to 115 pounds to Pack City and every time the service is excellent and their pricing is very affordable! I cannot recommend them enough and it's always great to support local! read more

Pack City Doggie Stylez is a great dog grooming place. Our Havanese, Leo, goes to Eryne every three weeks. He goes in a little agitated, but comes out quite happy. He knows he looks spiffy. History

Established in 2017.

Pack City has evolved from my former business called Sittin' Pretty, which has been in business since 2017. I was previously based out of another salon, here in town, which I rented space from. New beginnings and a new location brought a new name for my quickly growing company.

Meet the Business Owner: Eryne C.

I am a proud mother and wife. I have three human children, two fur children and a desert tortoise. Ive known since a very young age that I was going to work with animals. I explored many possibilities before I chose my forever career. I volunteered at veterinary clinics, humane society, helped a few rescue organizations and worked at a few different grooming salons. I chose grooming because I get to work with animals and show a level of creativity. I love all of my clients and treat all of the pups like they are my own.

Our two dogs were groomed for the third time at Animal Oasis. My daughter and I were pleased until…read morethis last visit with them. Our precious fourteen year old female was called beautiful and had pics taken of passerby's. When we picked her up after her being there for three hours or more ( every visit the same amount of time ) we just wanted to get them home. With her we noticed immediately her " beautiful fan tail " was no more. Her hind leg had been shaved to the bone. The shaver got away from one of their employees and that employee was not honest enough to report it. And if it was reported to his or her employer when we picked up our precious dog the incident was ignored and she was handed over to us like nothing ever happened. Now, a few months later she still has the large bald spot on the back of her hind leg where no hair has grown.. Her tail is completely butchered it hasn't grown out to its " beautiful fan wave" for a Collie after all this time. " I cant imagine what she was put through" being there! Our two year old male dog the most loving ever had his face completely missed his beard went over his lip. I trimmed it myself. I'm grateful our male dog hadn't gone through the trauma our precious female had gone through. I personally feel that someone there ( management) should be taking responsibility by checking while dogs are being groomed by ( newbies ) or any employee in any manner. I feel my female dog was left with a newbie and was not given the attention to this employee that he or she needed with managing. My daughter and I were under the impression that the woman that met us outside( same woman that groomed twice before ) asked how we'd like their grooming taken care of would be the one attending to both our dogs we trusted her grooming since she had done both our dogs twice before and we were happy with their outcome We had made recommendations to friends about Animal Oasis.We put our trust in the woman who greeted us who seemed interested in our concerns towards their grooming. This business failed my dogs and us. We should have looked at the grooming before paying the $100.00 per dog and not given the tips. I've never had to write up a complaint I waited hoping my female dog would grow her beautiful hair back to its original shape " Not" ! The Animal Oasis deserves this complaint. If you go to Animal Oasis after my complaint ask questions like who will be attending fully to my animal and look carefully after the work has been completed to your satisfaction before tipping. Get names, your dog is part of your loving family and should be treated like so.

I traded Emylia three pairs of grooming shears, a set of clippers, and four clipper blades in exchange for three grooming appointments for my dog, Pete. I received two of the three appointments. On the day of my third scheduled appointment , Emylia called in sick and did not notify me that my appointment had been cancelled. I showed up expecting Pete's scheduled grooming appointment and was informed she wasn't working that day. While I was standing at the counter, I quietly mumbled to myself, "F**K , she still owes me a free haircut" The employee immediately responded, "If you ever talk to me like that again, you'll never be allowed in here again." I found that response unnecessarily rude and confrontational, especially considering I wasn't speaking to her. At that point, between the cancelled appointment with out notification and the way I was treated by the employee, I decided I no longer wanted Pete groomed at Hand to Paws. I asked Emylia for the $70 value of the unused third appointment to be refunded. She agreed to arrange payment the following week. That week came and went with no payment. I got a text from Emylia she wanted to give me back the clippers. I declined she's already had them in her possession for over a month. I followed up by text Friday and still have received no response. People get sick, and I completely understand that. The problem is the lack of communication, the way I was treated when I showed up for an appointment that had been cancelled , and then the failure to follow through on an agreed-upon refund. The $70 isn't really the point. Its the way the entire situation was handled. I expected better customer service and better business practices. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Hand to Paws.

Today I brought my teenaged Goldendoodle Sophie to Eryne at Pack City for her second full grooming. And I was equally as pleased as I was after my first visit in the outcome following two disappointing grooming attempts at a chain establishment. Eryne accomplished twice as much as they did in half the time. She clearly is a seasoned professional who is 100% dedicated to her profession and the pups she is entrusted with to tend to their grooming needs. It is obvious in how she greets her canine clients, interacts with their "parents" and then sends them on their way afterwards that she is passionate about her work. I highly recommend Eryne to anyone in the Reno area seeking a skilled and competent dog groomer. I guarantee that you won't be disappointed. read more

I just love Eryne as my dog groomer!! She's always so thorough in her services with my lil Sissy. I love the before and after pictures and she's is kind and caring while tending to her. Erynes work is awesome and I'd recommend her everyday of the week, if you need a new groomer or doggie dresser as I call give her call and I'm certain your going to like her as much as we do!!!! read more

I took my dog to Eryne and it was the best experience I've ever had with a groomer. My dogs came back looking better than ever and seeming so happy and playful! No returned call from them was made. I had a weird encounter over the phone during our last appointment. They kept calling and texting us to take my dog in at an earlier time than what they scheduled us. Mind you, they scheduled us 2-3 weeks out and they knew of the appointment. It was so frustrating and confusing because I was at school and in class while they called and texted. My husband work nights so he didn't even know what was happening because he was sleeping. I called to confirm our set appt time which they scheduled us at 2:30pm and they wanted to know if we can take our dog in at 12pm because someone else cancelled their appointment. I told them no, I am not free and my husband cannot take him in at 12pm. My husband took our dog in at the set time (2:30pm) and my dog got his usual groom and wash. Pros: They are quick with grooming and wash. Cons: Appointment dates are far out. Also, communication needs to improve so there isn't any confusion or misunderstanding.

In my search, I found The Grooming Shop, called and she was still open and willing to take us as a walk-in. My dog is dog shy and she doesn't do well to dogs walking up face first. I shared that with the groomer and she happily accommodated by getting her tools and taking care of us in the lobby. She not only cut but also filed her nails. Was careful, kind and handled my Minnie well. I wish I would have got the groomers name but I didn't. I just want to say Thank you again! It was really important to get this taken care of today. I have only had Lillie for 2 months and she is not yet ready for something as intimate as a bath and grooming. Amber has been so thoughtful and treated Lillie so respectfully through this process.
