    Snickerdoodles
    Ruby S.

Craving for savory and/or sweet edibles and you'll find it here. Small bakery with standing room only caught our attention. My fave cookie: oatmeal raisins apparently sold out for the day. Female employee was very informative and easy to chat with about the baked goods. I inquired what are your most popular selling items. She mentioned cinnamon rolls, ham & cheese croissants, and snickerdoodles. We weren't near any microwaves to reheat the first two items so I opted for the third most popular item. I saved the snickerdoodles for an afternoon snack a few hours later. Every bite filled with yumminess of cinnamon and softer, baked cookie that held its shape together.

Unassuming coffee/cookie shop in Girdwood. They are not interested in impressing you. They are there to sell you giant cookies and mediocre lattes. And you will buy them over and over again because its comfort food on your way into/out of Girdwood or after you gas up on your way to Seward/Homer or back to Anchorage. Truck stop cookies and coffee....Alpine does the job.

What a find right by Seward highway in Girdwood. Espresso and pastry. HUGE slab portions of brownie ane cinnamon roll. We had cheese danish, apple fritter, ham and cheese croissant ... all were easy to take go. Speedy coffee and efficient servers. Would hit this place again. Benches to eat are outside store.

    A humongous triple berry scone

I grabbed some amazing baked goods here this week while staying in Girdwood. My personal favorites were the maple bar which was very fluffy and light and the triple berry scone, which was absolutely enormous. Both times I visited, the staff members were very friendly and polite. The one reason I am not giving five stars is because the prices do feel steep, even from the perspective of someone coming from New York City. However, do not let that deter you from giving this place a try.

You can say WOW, at the size of their treats! Prices reflect the large sized delights. Today had the apple fritter & took back to the hotel the mixed berry scone & peanut butter chocolate chip cookie. Fritter was tasty & filling.

Love the donuts here and always stop on my way to girdwood from anchorage. The brownies are good, the cinnamon rolls are dry, and haven't tried the cookies but they are literally bigger than my face.

Great, freshly baked goods. Awesome service. This place is a must stop. The line outside the door proves it

Fresh out of the oven cinnamon rolls

GET THE CINNAMON ROLLS!!!! And anything else they have in the case. I am an avid lover of cake donuts and some places you must have coffee to wash them down, NOT Alpine. Delicious cake donuts that are so good coffee is just the bonus not a requirement. We arrived later in the day so the cupboards were kinda bare however Justin was kind enough to give us the fresh out of the oven cinnamon rolls. We had no idea how large they were so we ordered 3.....little did we know (refer to photo) even later they were so gooey and delicious we went back 3 more times in our 3 day stay. My co workers said the scones were the best they had ever tasted. No bad choices were made!

Located in a strip with other restaurants so the opportunity is available for a sweet treat and coffee. The shop is small and staff is friendly. It's blueberry season in Alaska right now so the scone was speaking to me, however it wasn't a true scone. It's more of a pastry bread with blueberries. Huge disappointment for sure!
