It is because of their sterling reputation that my partner and I entrusted Will and his team with our purchase and sale of three different types of residential properties: condominium, single family residence, and multifamily property. From our experiences, here are top three reasons why we recommend Will and his team and would use him again for our next purchase or sale: 1. Will is a great advocate when it comes to negotiating offers and counteroffers and in dealing with other parties. His stunning background in international trade policy and Hollywood comes into play here at the client's advantage. Will helped us strategize and obtain good outcomes on all of our sales and purchases. 2. Will is a great advisor. His strong local knowledge about the neighborhoods and local regulations is founded on his brokering, property management, and development experience in LA. From neighborhood safety, zoning, entitlements, easements, to landlord-tenant matters, we knew we could count on Will and his team to get it right. 3. Will is a great connector and has deep connections in the real estate industry. He is just one speed dial away if you need a solid connection to a handyman, a CPA who advises real estate investors, a real estate attorney, or a home staging specialist. We've consulted with everyone Will has recommended and have been happy with them all. Will and his team have handled all of our matters expeditiously and to our great satisfaction. We wholeheartedly recommend them for any residential matters in LA.

My clients always end up thanking me for sending them his way, which says everything about the level of professionalism and care he brings. If you want someone who is honest, strategic, and truly exceptional at navigating the commercial landscape, look no further. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my commercial referrals. We had to move quickly and didn't have time to scout neighborhoods, or even visit the properties before making a decision. Maggie gave us detailed reports on neighborhoods in a language we could understand, ran all over the greater L.A. area to look at properties, and sent detailed videos on all our target properties. We ended up thrilled with our neighborhood and property even though my family had never set foot in the area or house. It's a true testament to her many skills. There are many people have knowledge, skills, and understanding of the market, but in addition to those requisite skills Maggie has a sincere dedication to her customers that sets her above the competition. It's very rare to find someone with all those traits in any field, and if you are in the realty market in L.A. I highly recommend connecting with Maggie.

I have never been treated with such discard and disrespect from a company in my life. Currently, I…read moream still trying to process everything that has taken place with Donegan and his company. I am a new business owner. I saw an amazing property downtown and met with Donegan to tour it. I discussed IN DETAIL the description of my business, which is an all-inclusive performing arts center & production studio. Our primary focus is dance and acting classes, self tape reel production and audition training/ coaching. We will also have production space rental for television & film as well as special celebrity events & seminars. I was given the thumbs up to apply! I provided my website and my business description and ALL needed financial documents... and then NOTHING. Donegan went on vacation, but I was also working with his assistant Aldwin (who was much kinder), but of little help or assistance. Without getting an answer from the owner, Donegan came up with his own and said the owners were "sitting on my application" because they wanted to start a bidding war on the loft. He also said my guarantor only showed 16k in the bank, which is a LIE! He never submitted all the documents I provided. He also intentionally tried to act confused about my business, although there was no confusion on the front end, my website is clear as day and the building has other businesses that are comparable to mine. As in, dance, music, art & production. He insulted me by insinuating my business wasn't good. Only AFTER I stated I'd be filing a formal complaint, did he text me saying he didn't mean it and Oh My Gosh, would you look at that.... he so happened to find another account I submitted with 20k!! I have everything a new business is required to have to begin operating. My credit is good and my background check is clean. He was also able to get "word" from the owners within 30 minutes of me stating I'd be contacting an attorney (although they hadn't responded with anything for 10+days) and they stated, they didn't get a detailed description of my business and had questions.... I submitted everything to Donegan & Aldwin. They also said because my business was NEW they didn't want to rent to me. But, having a new business was never a determining factor beforehand, as I submitted and passed ALL requirements. It is illegal to make up new policy that only applies to certain tenants and not others. Please keep in mind I am a 37 year old African American woman. At one point I was told by Aldwin that the owner wanted to meet me.... although this is not common, later Aldwin changed that and said he suggested the owner meet me. I guess I was needed to prove I was a "decent black". Aldwin also mentioned he had another young black woman last year who felt she was racially discriminated against too. I believe Donegan dropped the ball and purposely failed to submit and represent my business professionally. Instead tried to persuade me in helping me lease elsewhere. Perhaps he knew the owners wouldn't want my business (or my kind), so he intentionally didn't negotiate, submit all financials or give the proper detailed business description. He never asked for ANYTHING else until after I said I was filing a complaint. Also, he sent me a screenshot from Ericson Alviz (management of Shomof Group) where he tells Donegan to "find a better tenant" ... what the hell does that even mean? So either Donegan needs to come forward that the owner Izek Shomof or his management company are biased, which put him in an awkward position (he shouldn't have them as clients because of unethical & discriminatory practices) OR, he's going to be included in everything as an ally and collaborator of such despicable actions. 2 weeks of my life wasted. Hard inquiry on my credit report for nothing. Paid application and credit report fees for nothing. Toured the property for nothing. If the owners had a stipulation that they didn't accept new businesses Donegan would have said that before starting the process.... but heck, he only showed them $16k, and between my father (guarantor) and myself our monthly showed at $35k+. The monthly rent is only $5k. I have every right to have been offered a lease there. Donegan had the nerve to block me because I'm disappointed and letting it be known. A simple apology and rectifying the matter could have sufficed. But no, as you can see from all his other responses on here, he doesn't like to be held accountable... instead he gaslights, projects and discards. Had I known they were all about gentrification beforehand, I could have saved myself the emotional turmoil. They want "us" moving out, not in.

I've lived here for 4+ years and it's been a pain in the ass living here. I moved here as one of the first tenants and from the beginning, the property has had major issues. From broken elevators for weeks on end, zero communication or follow up from management, paper thin walls between the floors and the walls between; the list of negative reasons of why you should NOT live here outweigh any positive reasons. I just concluded moving out and even then, I did not get any of my security deposit back and I was charged for "smoking" damage even though I actually lodged complaints of my neighbor smoking so it's ironic I was then charged for the smoke damage. I could have taken Greystar to small claims like many have (please use Google/reddit and you'll see how many complaints/lawsuits have been lodged against Greystar) but I like many others, just paid the due so we can finally move on from this predatory management company. This is the type of behavior you will be encountering from the day that you live here until you move out. In a HCOL landscape where there's plenty of overpriced apartments to rent, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

That's because it's that hard to find a good, trustful realtor like Jonathan. I've worked with Jonathan for several years for renting out my property. Jonathan has been so helpful since I'm remote from my property for a long time. He no longer does the property management so I had to find another agent though, I really miss working with Jonathan a lot. Jonathan is the one who you can fully trust and who makes you feel safe and secured as a client. The way he communicates is very professional and so courteous. Jonathan is always keen on what you shouldn't miss and what you need to consider when there's a deal or when you ask advices. Also throughout many years of working with Jonathan, I feel he is a very genuine man. While most of the real estate agents only think of their commission or benefit from the deal, Jonathan put his own client's advantage and convenience the first priority. He put the trustful relationship with the client the first priority. Jonathan makes his client so much easy and free from the hassle in the process of getting tenant and sending tenant and Jonathan always makes sure his client's property perfectly clean after a tenant's moving out. Jonathan doesn't rush you when making decision (which doesn't mean he's slow), he tries to get the best with no potential issue. I read the Bo's review below. As reading the story, I feel even more trustful about Jonathan. No agent cares that deeply or makes sure everything is really ok for his own client. As a client, he is a life saver. Most of the agents just try to get the deal done asap, receive the commission and leave for the next deal, superficially keeping in touch for the next deal. But Jonathan is very responsible and thoughtful so he doesn't even make the situation get to any trouble and even when his client happens to be in trouble, he always comes and helps at his best with goodwill. Jonathan is a such realtor who you can rarely find. Always considerate, patient, best communicator and genuine.

As first-time home buyers, my husband and I had many questions when it came to the process, and Jonathan was with us every step of the way. He answered any questions we had, and he was able to break down the information in a way we could easily understand. Furthermore, during every viewing, there was not a single moment where Jonathan pressured us into making an offer. This alone speaks volumes about him as a professional, and it is something I deeply appreciated, as the last thing I wanted was someone trying to persuade us into buying a home we were not comfortable with. But not once did Jonathan try to pressure us or try to take advantage of our minimal knowledge as first-time home buyers. He always treated us with the utmost respect and kindness. In the end, I feel extremely lucky we were able to go through this whole experience with Jonathan. Hands down, the best real estate agent.
