I purchased 5 new stones, some Sage, 7 small candles and an evil eye bracelet. My favorite part of the experience is Chandler. She checked us out and when I tell you her energy was everything, I mean that. Her words were so positive and uplifting. She cleansed our stones for us, but overall just had a great convo talking to her while she checked us out. I could have talked to her for hours she is definitely exactly where she is suppose to be working there and bringing that positive energy and peace to the business. The teacher was awesome and you can tell she is an expert. Although the studio is small and right on a busy street I couldn't hear anything going on outside of the room. They have yoga mats and towels for purchase so best if you bring your own. They are very clean so after class you are to wipe down your blocks and mats. It was a nice experience overall and the showers were really just that cherry on top! Btw - parking is metered parking so you know that goes... go early!

Prior to the sound bath, there were snacks and food set out for us all. Waiting for the doors to open, I was welcomed by everyone standing outside and made new friends! Once inside, I was awestruck by how cool the event space looked. This was unexpected and I happily joined in with this diverse group of like-minded folks. I had the best time! The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming people. They did for me a tarot reading and helped me choose a candle for attracting money. I also bought a protection stone for myself. Great value for the price. The whole experience felt very personal and thoughtful. This shop feels like a museum, I'm swearing, that's true, so much atmosphere, knowledge, and beautiful details everywhere. I will definitely be coming back whenever I have questions. When I purchased a Vitashot package, I was told verbally by front desk staff on multiple occasions that my complimentary monthly membership shot would always be used first before deducting from my package. That never happened. Every shot after my package purchase was deducted from my paid package across three membership cycles while my complimentary shots went unused. When I raised this in writing, I was given an audit that actually confirmed the problem rather than resolving it. I escalated to request GM involvement, called the location twice, was redirected to the Venice location, and never received a callback. Two weeks later, still no resolution. The staff are pleasant and the facilities are lovely but the billing practices and customer service at the assistant manager level are a serious problem. If you purchase a package here, document everything in writing and verify every transaction carefully.

Tucked back behind foliage, the PRS is located on Los Feliz Blvd. It includes an auditorium, a gift shop, a library and a lecture room above the library. The library is pretty amazing in that it looks straight out of 19th Century university with all books locked behind glass. Its two stories are all polished, dark wood and old (sometimes falling apart) books. Interspersed by statues and sculptures. This is the library for library nuts. It is only open on Thursdays and Fridays and all books stay within the library. You may, however, take photographs of book texts and imagery. The library contains hundreds of books on religion, mythology, mysticism and the occult. I could easily spend several hours here. The gift shop sells a variety of things ranging from what you might find in a esoteric shop (incense, tarot cards...etc.) to snacks and beverages. There's also a huge book area in the back. A lot of folks seemed to be using the area as a library, but I believe at least some of the books were for sale. I didn't spend any time in the lecture room or auditorium because there were no events when I last visited. If you go to the the events page on the website (https://www.prs.org/events.html), you can see what is on offer at any given time. This is definitely an interesting spot, though one I can imagine many visitors being somewhat perplexed by. It's a society that isn't devoted to a particular creed or way of thinking, but rather seeking wisdom in the plurality of faiths and traditions within the world. Definitely worth a visit.
