Today we stopped by and got a chocolate milkshake and a burger. They were awsome!!! I could see them cooking from the front counter . I order a turkey burger and my husband ordered a double bacon cheeseburger both were awsome. And the price is not bad. The dinning was limited seating but worth waiting. read more

Wasn't sure what to expect from this place! It doesn't look like a lot from the outside and we'd passed it by for years. Stopped there today on our way out of town and not are we glad we did! Oh yeah! What a find! Their burgers came a quarter pound, a third of the pound, half a pound and 1 pound sizes. I came here twice in two days. Yesterday I had the half a pound and it was a bit much so today I had the third of the pound and it was just right. The burger was great and the toppings they put on were great too. I especially like the way they shredded lettuce. And, the onion rings! They were fantastic and not too much breading. My wife had the corn dog and it was great too. We will definitely be coming back whenever we are in town. read more

Good food, made to order. My hot pastrami sandwich was huge and came with Swiss cheese and veggies. Burgers were freshly prepared, many sizes and toppings to choose from. Small fris and tots orders are more than enough as a side dish. Staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. There are 5 booths inside to sit at and were kept nice and clean. We ordered 'baby' size frosties and they were quite big. Pleased all around and will return. $30 for two adults. Fresh yummy food so it was worth it! read more

You can't get this type of burger just anywhere, it truly stands out as it should, an iconic hamburger worthy of a show like Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. I really have nothing but wonderful things to say about Alpine's food! Burney is such a small town, so it's surprising that they have a better burger joint than any you can find in Redding! Whenever my boyfriend & I are in the neighborhood I insist we stop for an Alpine burger, tots, ice cream cone, & coke. My favorite meal. First off, there are five tables inside (plus two out front). Alpine is a classic drive-inn with a variety of large and jumbo burgers and milkshakes. Most of the clientele seemed to be local and familiar with the menu lingo, but the woman taking our order was patient with us. The pickles were good and the garlic fries were appropriately garlicky, but that came from pouring garlic butter (margarine) on them which ruined their crispness. read more
