After reading all the 5 star reviews, called and scheduled Alpine Mobile Screen to repair one patio slider and replace another one. He quoted me pricing which was ok. Don showed up on time. I specifically asked him if he would be cleaning the frames and tracks that other reviews mentioned which he responded yes. Both screen doors were done pretty quick, I paid him and he was out the door. My fault for not checking his work. Yes he replaced one slider and repaired the other but neither screen door track or frame were cleaned. It was easy to see as we have 4 dogs that shed A LOT of hair mixed in with a lot of dirt. The repaired screen door does work fine but it looks like a DIY job and the new one looks like the cheapest HD has in stock. I did have to ask for a paid for invoice as I gave him cash and when I asked about a warranty, he said "don't worry about it, I'll take care of any problem". Before I wrote this review, I did text him to see if he would come back and take care of my concerns. I never got a reply. Would I use him again? No. read more

Though Dan charges $150 minimum, knowing at this time I only have one window that needs a screen, Dan gave me a break because I live few miles from his location and will do the screen for $50. I appreciate the effort on Dan's part to help me in this situation; but guess who I will be calling when I have numerous windows that need replacing- Dan, as the other companies I called "stuck to their guns" about $99 minimum charges for only one screen. Dan said he will squeeze me in next week, so I will be updating this at that time. Also, I would like to thank Sharon at Mobile Screen of Poway for referring him. Update: Dan and his son Don came to my house and within minutes made a new replacement screen for one window.
