My 2009 Jeep Wrangler Sahara purchased from Alpine Motors
    Jim P.

Bought a new (to me) Jeep Wrangler Sahara from Alpine via Car Gurus. Dealership was very helpful in arranging a test drive and getting all the paperwork ready for the sale. Very professional staff,. Lots of selections on the lot, but I was on a mission to replace my old Jeep and the car Alpine had in stock fit the bill perfectly. Car was immaculate inside and out. CarFax ready for review. I would recommend Alpine to anyone looking for a good late model used car, or for an exotic older car (saw a few there).

They also swapped out the tires on the vehicle with used, unsafe tires. I have purchased countless cars in my lifetime but have never, ever, ever seen such ruthless business practices. I wouldn't buy pencil from these guys! Unkept promises, swapping of equipment, unprofessional and high pricing. If there is another choice of any kind...... take it. Don't do business with Wantagh Certified pre owned. Oh, BTW their certification is a farce. The do not have certified mechanics and clearly don't perform any inspections. They don't even check the oil. What a joke of a company

A certified mechanic? NO I purchased a 2021 Maserati a month back and the vehicle had a huge bubble in the front right tire. They promised to reimburse me the cost to replace the tire and forwarded the receipts but they say weekly that it takes time....... They also charged an additional $500 to license the vehicle and promised to refund the overage, this has not been done. It only cost $28.00 for the license. They also charged me an additional $500 for a second key fob. What luxury vehicle only comes with a single key fob? These folks are as slimy as they come! They are the lowest of low. They have zero morals, ethics and lie, lie, lie. The fat finance guy promised to buy dinner when I was there only to come up with a cold cheese pizza and bottle of water, this idiot didn't even spring for a topping on the pizza. What a joke. Lastly, when I take the vehicle in for an emissions test the plug does not work. I have to take it to the Maserati dealership and they charge me for 2 hours of labor to find out that the wantagh dealership put a tracker on the vehicle. They were paid in full for the vehicle so they should have removed such a device but it simply shows what type of dealership they are. You know, buy here, pay here so that I can overcharge for a vehicle and then track it if you miss a payment. They take advantage of people. Please do not patronize this establishment. They are the lowest of the low and should be shut down. finally, this place actually took time to swap out the tires and put used, worn tires on the vehicle. I simply can't believe it how low can they go? I purchased the car at 19000 miles and now have 25000 miles on it and the tires are practically bald. Tires should get at least 50000 miles tread wear. You can't make this stuff up. Who does that except a low life, classless, no morals used car dealership named wantagh certified in NY.

But I kept refreshing on car gurus and found this vehicle. I had gone to multiple dealerships where They had a price listed but then when I was the price, it was $3000 more somehow... Not here, Riccie was fair and allowed me anytime because I was the first one so when he knew that I was interested he held the Vehicle for me. The vehicle is in Massapequa New York so I needed a little bit of time since I live in Bergen County, New Jersey, which is about an hour and a half away with traffic. It was about two hours. He was very communicative about the whole process and how to get everything set up beforehand in case I decided to take the vehicle so that way it will be a quick transaction and I was not obligated to take the vehicle if I decided against it. I had a wonderful experience. The car was detailed beautifully. He was 100% true to price. The price he had listed was the price I went home at and since I'm out of state I will go to the DMV myself which is fine. He helped me get my enterprise vehicle to enterprise and then sent a car to pick me up. Overall, I was really pleasantly surprised that I absolutely loved the car to drive down get in the car during the test I'd be allowed to have that time with the car to feel how I felt and I opened every window and everyone doors and everything used each car was awesome When my car was totaled, I was so afraid that I was not at the front a car that was as nice since I had just spent 15,000 on it last year and insurance never gives you the same amount but I found a car that I honestly think is nicer and although it had a little bit more miles like by 10,000 maybe this brand will last longer than the car I had and I couldn't be happier. Thanks Richie !

Recently, I needed the quality control arm replaced due to hitting something on Sunrise Highway. While getting regular service, the technician that I was dealing with, told me to bring the car back in a week and the part would be there and it would be fixed. I returned to the dealership the following Tuesday and dealt with a different Service technician who told me that I shouldn't have been able to drive the car off the lot in the first place, due with being a severe safety concern, and that my wheel could fall off due to the Quality control, arm holding the suspension spring that holds up the tire. On top of that and that if I took the car off the lot, I would have to pay more for the part to ensure that I would come back and get the car fixed, even though I had returned already to get the car fixed. Not wanting to pay more to fix a problem that inevitably would need to be fixed I left my car at the dealership. The original service technician that helped me called me back and said all the information that I was given the previous day was incorrect, and that the sales technicians were in competition and trying to steal me as a client and that it was not a safety concern And that I was blatantly lied to the previous day. And to top it off after I picked up my car, there's wires hanging down on the side of the vehicle that needs to be fixed. someone from customer service called me back and left a message and has not returned my phone call after me trying to re-contact them so obviously they don't care that much. Save yourself a headache and take your business somewhere else
